Jeremy huddled against a wall, his hands covered his ears and his eyes were squeezed shut. But even then he could hear the screams of the hero's team as they were destroyed. Tears streamed down his face and he trembled with every loud noise that couldn't be suppressed. Blood spattered him, gradually turning ice cold as time passed and the killing continued.

Suddenly, everything stopped. The blood stopped splashing and the screams stopped sounding. Jeremy slowly lowered his hands. His eyes were red and tears were still flowing, he opened them slowly.
Footsteps approached Jeremy, a calm, deliberate gait. He trembled in fear when the villain's boots, covered in blood, appeared in his field of vision. He choked back a sob and looked up.
