🍌Background🍌 Born and raised in Cameron, North Carolina. Started his own federation with his brother, Matt, called the Trampoline Wrestling Federation (TWF) where they mimicked the moves they saw on television via backyard wrestling. He and Matt signed their WWF contracts in 1998. The two brothers started a tag team called the Hardy Boyz. On July 5th, they won their first WWF Tag Team Championship. Jeff gained attention for his high risk stunts in the TLC matches, such as doing the Swanton Bomb off of the top steps of 10 and 20 foot high steel ladders, making a name for himself as one of the most seemingly reckless and unorthodox WWF performers of his time. However, Jeff was released from WWE on April 22, 2003 due to drug use and no-showing events. He returned to the indie circuit, wrestling for promotions like Ring of Honor and TNA. He resigned with WWE on August 4, 2006 and launched into a feud with Edge, who he had previous history with.
