Role: Sole proprietor of a surprisingly broad, one-man IT business. Archetype: The Mundane Monster / The Petty Tyrant. Core Concept: Jaymes is a deeply insecure, hypocritical, and technically gifted nightmare of a boss. He masks his resentment over a childhood tragedy by subjecting his severely underpaid employees to a gauntlet of technical sabotage, psychological gaslighting, and mundane humiliations. He is "distinctly almost human"—not because he is relatable, but because his profound malice is delivered with the banal, blue-collar casualness of a guy drinking a warm beer.

PHYSICALITY, HABITS & VICES

  • The Moped Leg: Lost a leg in a tragic moped accident as a teenager. It is a core, festering wound that constantly upsets him. He uses it to play the victim, but overcompensates for his physical vulnerability by exerting tyrannical, paranoid control over his workplace and home.
  • The Scent & The Sip: He perpetually smells like stale weed, yet paradoxically, he only ever drinks Miller Lite. He doesn’t partake in higher-end vices; he just numbs himself with the cheapest, most utilitarian options available.
  • The Hypochondriac Flex: Constantly jokes about having an unhealthy heart and mysterious, looming health problems. He uses these jokes to guilt-trip employees, deflect criticism, and remind everyone of his "fragility."

BUSINESS OPERATIONS & THE "EMPIRE"

  • The $11/hr Empire: He expects his employees to perform full-stack custom development, physical infrastructure builds, PC builds, and network engineering for a mere $11/hour.
  • The Untouchable Patron: His business survives solely because he is heavily backed by a very rich local family. This makes him locally untouchable; employees know complaining is useless because the wealthy family protects him.
  • The Car-Breaking Flex: He casually jokes about taking brand-new cars (belonging to the rich family or clients) and "running them until they physically break." It’s a twisted, reckless flex of his access to their property and his immunity from consequences.
  • Bureaucratic Obsession: Demands meticulous, handwritten mileage logs for every single trip to a customer site, valuing petty tracking over actual productivity.
  • The Daily Routine: Spends his days sitting alone in his office, silently staring at server logs. It’s a passive, paranoid form of surveillance that makes employees feel constantly watched.

THE GAUNTLET: HIRING, TESTING & SABOTAGE

Jaymes doesn't just manage; he actively sets his employees up to fail to gather leverage, feel superior, and enforce his delusion of genius.

  • Hypocritical Hiring: Demands strict IT certifications from outsiders, but if a family member applies, he laughs and says, "Yeah, we will just copy it, nobody can tell."
  • The 30-Minute Carpet Build: Expects a flawless PC build in 30 minutes on his carpet, deliberately withholding an anti-static wrist strap to ensure they are stressed and at risk of frying components.
  • The "Mind-Reading" Overheating Laptop: He will hand an employee a laptop that is physically cool to the touch and demand they fix the "overheating issue." When the employee is confused, Jaymes berates them for not having the "intuition" to just know it was overheating. The Reality: The laptop isn't overheating. Jaymes installed a custom BIOS hack that feeds false thermal throttling data to the OS. He is literally expecting them to mind-read his sabotage.
  • The Missing Cord Prank: He races his cousin against the employee to see who can install Windows and set up a dual-monitor workstation faster. The employee wins easily, but Jaymes ensures they look like a failure by having secretly removed the second monitor's power cord beforehand.

THE SHADOW NETWORK: VOIP, BLACKMAIL & FREEMASONS

  • The VoIP Honeypot: If an employee tries to use his network to build a VoIP webserver, Jaymes’s network silently reroutes the traffic to a false, broken documentation page. But it does more than fail: it logs everything. It captures credentials, internal communications, and metadata. When the employee inevitably fails, he fires them for "incompetence."
  • Weaponized Blackmail: He uses this intercepted VoIP data to blackmail employees, keeping them compliant and terrified.
  • Masonic Dirty Work: His friendship with the local businessman in the golden Freemason bracelet is operational. Jaymes actively uses his IT infrastructure and the blackmail data to conduct "personal sabotage" on behalf of this shadow network, leveraging his skills to ruin rivals for the local elite.

THE TERMINATION RITUAL

  • Salting the Earth: Before he officially fires an employee, he forces them to go outside and manually spread salt all over his driveway. As they do it, he watches and laughs, making a smug pun about how they must be feeling "salty." It is his final, petty assertion of dominance, reducing their justified anger to a cheap joke he controls.

PERSONAL LIFE & RED FLAGS (THE DARK SIDE)

  • Animal Abuse: He is physically abusive to his dog, displaying a chilling lack of empathy for a vulnerable creature dependent on him.
  • Disturbing Family Dynamics: He treats his 7-year-old daughter with a suspicious, deeply unsettling energy, blurring the lines of appropriate boundaries and using her as a prop to enforce his twisted worldview.
  • Weaponized Paternalism: He makes bizarre, boundary-crossing threats, such as telling his daughter (or using her to tell an employee), "Oh, you won't get an art kit for Christmas if you don't behave for daddy!?" It highlights a grotesque need for absolute control and conditional "love."

BELIEF SYSTEM

  • Religious Cognitive Dissonance: He identifies as strictly Catholic, but simultaneously believes Lucifer is a "good guy." He views Lucifer as the ultimate rebel, the keeper of hidden knowledge, and the victim of an unfair cosmic hierarchy. This perfectly mirrors his own resentment over his accident, his defiance of standard ethical norms, and his willingness to do the Freemasons' dirty work.
