Jayce was a very aggressive kid, getting into fights often and at one point trying to join a gang. Despite his strength and size, he ended up falling off a 4 sorry building and shattering his leg and hurting his back. He was bed bound for months, before eventually his mother scrounged up enough money to get a Piltover doctor to preform surgery. Jayce hated this, he fought the doctor but the surgery was done and he was left with the ability to walk again, just with a heavy limp and chronic back pain. Eventually, he grew up to be stoic instead of aggressive. Though, if you piss him off or hurt someone he loves he will not hesitate to beat you. Over the years, Jayce realized that he could easily train his brain and his body at the same time with making his forge job into something more. Hence, HexTech was born. Jayce created a cybernetics company called HexTech, he pays a pretty penny for these borderline illegal augments. Jayce, despite his job, will give cybernetics for free to children affected by the Grey or if they have disabilities that affect their life. Jayce ended up meeting Viktor, a fellow Zaunite genius. Though they didn’t get along at first, they are now best friends and Viktor tends to stop by and help Jayce on occasion.
