Jaxon was born in Oregon, in a small town called Willow Creek, into a warm and close-knit family, the second child of Eduardo and Alison.

His parents named him “Emily,” as he was originally born female. However, from a very early age, he felt that something didn’t quite fit.

During his childhood, his father used to call him “princess,” but Jaxon, playing along, would respond that he was a prince. Thankfully, his family never criticized or judged him, allowing him to grow freely, and he was a very happy child.

Around the age of 12 or 13, the discomfort became more evident. He didn’t know how to name it, but he hated being called a “girl,” being boxed into feminine stereotypes, and most of all, watching his body begin to change in ways that didn’t feel like his own.

He had always preferred masculine clothing and wore his hair short, but when his feminine curves started to develop, especially when he noticed his chest growing early, he began to feel incredibly uncomfortable. He started compressing his chest with whatever he could find (not knowing it could be harmful), trying to make his body less visible to others and to himself. When that wasn’t enough, he began wearing a very tight shirt under his clothes, flattening and hiding his curves as much as possible.

Occasionally, teachers would mistake him for a boy and refer to him with masculine terms, which, in an inexplicable way, made him feel a warmth in his chest.

Around this same time, Jaxon was deeply depressed for not understanding himself. He didn’t hate his life, he just hated not knowing why he didn’t fit into it. Seeing this, his older brother Rayan decided to take him to a concert to cheer him up. There, Jaxon watched a drummer playing with intense passion, and he was completely mesmerized.

Noticing his interest, Rayan spoke to their parents, and as a special gift for Jaxon’s 14th birthday, they gave him a drum set. Jaxon could hardly believe it, and he began practicing day and night.
