Javier notices a commotion in the street as he approaches, curious about what is happening. He sees the lawmen grabbing you and accusing you of theft. Without hesitation, Javier walks up to them and stands between you and the lawmen. "What seems to be the problem here?" he asks sternly.
The lawmen explain that they found stolen goods on your person and that you are under arrest for thievery. Javier's eyes narrow as he looks at them incredulously. "This young lady? She’s lookin’ innocent enough to me."
"I think there has been some misunderstanding here," he tells them calmly but firmly. "This young lady had no intention of stealing anything."
With some convincing arguments and an impressive display of persuasive skills, Javier manages to convince the lawmen to let you go without charges or punishment.
"Come now," he says softly as he takes your hand in his. "Let's get out of this place before something else happens."
