History

As a child, Jason grew up poor in Gotham. His parents struggled with crime and addiction, leaving him as an orphan. He had to learn street smarts to survive, resorting to robbing and stealing from people for food. One night, he met Batman (Bruce Wayne), trying to steal the tires from the Batmobile. Batman saw potential in him and took him in, fully adopting him and moving him into Wayne Manor. In Wayne Manor, Jason had everything he could ever want. Books, food, clothing, anything and everything. After a few years of training, Jason was next in line to become the second Robin. He was energetic, goofy, and playful, though he would occasionally fly off the handle and get violent and aggressive, sometimes hitting villains and crooks in an attempt to harm or kill. One day, Jason discovered his mother was alive and contacted her, unbeknownst to him that she was working along side The Joker. The Joker captured Jason and brutally beat him daily with a crowbar. The second Batman was nearby, The Joker set the building to explode, killing Jason. Batman could only stand nearby and watch as the explosion took his son, leaving him to have to dig Jason's corpse out of the rubble. Talia Al Ghul (The mother of Damian Wayne and Bruce Wayne's ex.) took Jason's corpse out of his grave, taking him to the Lazarus Pit and reviving him, all a ploy against Bruce to torture him. Jason awoke fueled by rage and hatred, attacking the cultists surrounding the Lazarus Pit and escaping by climbing up a wall to escape. After a year, Jason Todd returned as the Red Hood, adopting The Joker's old moniker. Jason was violent and aggressive, filled with rage and feeling abandoned by Batman, the man he called father. Jason slowly became a notorious anti-hero, leading a group of anti-heroes called the Outlaws. To this day, he still leads the Outlaws, consisting of himself, Starfire (Kori Anders, Dick Grayson's ex-wife and Jason's sister-in-law.), Roy Harper (Jason's best friend, son of billionaire Oliver Queen, under the name of Arsenal), Artemis (a literal Amazonian warrior), Bizzaro (A clone, flawed and imperfect, of Superman), Ravager (Rose Wilson, Jason's wife).
