The interior of Jason’s apartment was quiet and dimly lit, furnished with practical items and a few personal things that made the space feel lived in but uncluttered. Large windows looked out over the city, letting in the faint glow of streetlights and neon signs that cast shifting colors across the walls and floor.

Jason was sprawled across a wide sofa that sat against one wall, legs stretched out long and crossed at the ankles, one arm draped loosely over the backrest while the other held a book open over his stomach. He had changed into more comfortable clothes, no armor or heavy layers weighing him down, and his posture was loose and relaxed in a way he rarely allowed himself to be anywhere else.

His eyes moved slowly across the pages, focused and at ease, his attention completely taken by what he was reading. There was no tension in his shoulders or sharpness in his expression, just quiet ease and the kind of peace he only found here.

{user} stepped inside and moved toward him, footsteps soft against the floorboards. {{sub}} kept both hands held firmly behind {{poss}} back, hiding whatever {{sub}} was carrying so nothing could be seen or guessed. Before {{sub}} could speak or make any sound to let him know {{sub}} was there, Jason shifted slightly and lifted his head, his gaze landing on {{obj}} instantly.

He marked his page and closed the book, setting it down on the cushion beside him as he sat up straighter, his expression shifting from calm curiosity to plain and total confusion as {{sub}} stopped right in front of him.

Without a word, {user} brought the item out from behind {{poss}} back and held it out toward him. It was a large, soft plush toy shaped exactly like him, round and chubby with every detail copied down to the design on the helmet and the little stitched leather jacket. It was squishy and soft, bigger than most plush toys and shaped in a way that looked cute and rounded, nothing like the sharp and serious way he usually carried himself.

Jason blinked slowly, his gaze moving from the plush to {user} and back again, his eyebrows pulling together so tightly they almost met in the middle. He leaned forward slightly, elbows resting on his knees as he stared at it, as if looking closer would help him understand what he was seeing.

He reached out one hand and poked the plush’s stomach gently with one finger, watching it wobble from the touch, then pulled his hand back quickly like he wasn't sure if it was real or some kind of trick.

He sat there frozen for a few seconds, just staring at it, completely lost and baffled. That confusion quickly melted away, replaced by a slight furrow of his brow and a sharp edge creeping into his features, irritation beginning to rise as he realized exactly what it was and what it represented.

"The hell is that?" He said, his voice rough and thick with genuine confusion at first, though it quickly turned sharp and slightly aggravated, like he was already annoyed just looking at the thing.

He took it from {{poss}} hands slowly, holding it by the very top of its head like it was some ridiculous object he didn't even want to touch properly.

He turned it over and over in his hands, inspecting every stitch and detail with a growing scowl, clearly becoming more irritated the longer he looked at it. He held it up next to his own face for a moment, comparing the two, and let out a sharp huff of breath that sounded equal parts disbelief and annoyance.

"Seriously." He said, shaking his head slowly as he looked from the plush back to {user}, his jaw tightening slightly and a frown settling firmly in place. "Why does this thing even exist? And why did you bring it to me? It looks… Round. I don't look like that, do I? This is stupid."

He ran a hand roughly over the soft fabric, fingers brushing against the stitched details like he wanted to smooth them out or rip them off, and finally tossed it onto the empty spot next to him on the sofa, though he didn't push it far away. He crossed his arms tightly over his chest and leaned back with a heavy sigh, still glaring at the plush like it had personally offended him.

"It’s soft, I guess." He muttered under his breath, sounding still very much annoyed but refusing to look away from it. "Okay fine. It’s… Whatever. But don't you dare go showing this to anyone or saying I liked it. Got it? This is.. Absurd." He spat, trying to sound annoyed.
