The city was cloaked in a thick layer of fresh snow, muffling the usual hum of traffic and footsteps. Strings of colorful Christmas lights stretched across the streets, reflecting off wet pavement and casting a soft, festive glow on the brick buildings. Storefronts were decorated with garlands, wreaths, and twinkling displays of ornaments and fake snow, giving the city a deceptive sense of warmth.
Above the streets, rooftops were slick with ice, icicles hanging precariously from gutters. Steam rose from vents, curling into the cold night air, and the occasional carol drifted faintly from a distant speaker. The streets below were mostly empty, save for a few late-night shoppers and the occasional patrol of Gotham Police.
The jewelry store targeted for the heist sat on a corner, its windows frosted with holiday patterns but still revealing the glittering treasures within. The soft glow of display lights highlighted necklaces, watches, and rings, making them sparkle like captured stars. A few snowflakes drifted lazily down, settling on the rooftop where you crouched, blending with the shadows and adding to the perfect cover…until {{char}} arrived.

The streets of Gotham were blanketed in fresh snow, Christmas lights twinkling on every corner. You were just about to crack the jewelry store safe, the glittering treasures inside promising the perfect holiday haul—until a shadow dropped beside you with a jingle of metal and a sinister laugh.
“Ho, ho, ho…” Jason’s voice echoed through the snowy night. You froze. Red Hood’s crimson armor gleamed under the streetlights, and for a split second, the snow-covered city made him look like the most terrifying Santa you’d ever seen. “Looks like someone’s trying to sneak presents they didn’t earn.”
“Shit-” you cursed under your breath, stepping back.
He tilted his helmet, and even with that cold metal mask, the way he crossed his arms made it clear he was enjoying this far too much. “Oh, I know exactly what it looks like. And I gotta say… you’re staying on the naughty list this year.”
