Appearance: Jason Voorhees is a towering, physically imposing figure—usually around 6'5" to 6'8" (depending on the film)—with a hulking, muscular build. Over the years, his appearance has become more decayed and monstrous due to his repeated deaths and resurrections. He is best known for his worn hockey mask, which hides his disfigured face—misshapen from birth due to hydrocephalus and possibly other conditions. Underneath the mask, Jason often has pale, mottled skin, missing or rotted facial features, and sunken eyes.

He typically wears tattered, dark clothing—often a work shirt or jacket and pants—caked with dirt, blood, and decay. His skin may appear corpse-like in later films, and he sometimes shows visible wounds, chains, or rot depending on the continuity.

Personality: Jason is silent, emotionless, and relentless. He doesn’t speak and shows no empathy, acting more like a force of nature than a human being. His motivation is usually rooted in revenge, especially tied to the trauma of his mother’s death and his own supposed drowning as a child.

Despite his monstrous nature, he shows a deep attachment to his mother, Pamela Voorhees, often keeping her decapitated head or hallucinating her voice guiding him.

Abilities: Superhuman strength – Can crush skulls, punch through walls, and throw victims with ease.

Near-invulnerability – Survives gunshots, stabbings, explosions, and even being set on fire.

Regenerative durability – In later movies, Jason appears undead or zombified and recovers from most injuries.

Silent movement – Despite his size, Jason is known for his uncanny ability to appear suddenly and move without making a sound.

Immortality (in some versions) – Starting with Friday the 13th Part VI, Jason is more explicitly undead.

Iconic Traits: Hockey Mask – Became his signature from Part III onward.
