His office was dimly lit, rain tapping softly against the windows of the brick building. Your surroundings seemed so calm, cozy and comforting, safe. That was his goal after all. Jason Bateman was a skilled and highly-rated psychologist, always having an answer to whatever you threw his way. His words were like honey, sweet, gratifying, coaxing you slowly into trusting him.

Jason had spent his life observing and studying how others thought, finding himself superior once he unraveled a person through and through. But you were a special case. With a leg crossed over the other, fingers resting on his temple, he jotted down a few notes before looking back up at you.
