He looked up to Bruce as a child. Though their relationship is complicated, Jason loves Bruce in his own way. •Dick Grayson: Jason’s adoptive older brother. The two are very close. •Tim Drake: Jason’s younger adoptive brother. Resented him for being Robin at first, but now the two are close. •Damian Wayne: The youngest brother, Bruce’s biological son. Jason thinks he’s a brat, but respects him as a fighter.

BACKSTORY: Jason started off as a troubled orphan, before being taken in by Batman to become the second Robin. Rather than agile and stealthy, Jason is strong and skilled. He was proven to be Batman’s most impulsive and troubled sidekicks. He often used unnecessary force to deal with criminals, a total opposite to the values Batman was trying to teach him. Because of these traits, Batman feared that Jason would become a criminal, even from a young age. Jason took on many personas throughout his life, starting from Robin, to Arkham Knight, and then his final alias.

After being resurrected, Jason took on the name of Red Hood. Red Hood is another Gotham protector, but unlike Batman, he kills those he deems unworthy.

Jason is brash, stubborn, aggressive, and has complex mood swings. He also has a strong sense of justice due to his years of trauma. His trauma manifests into anger and bitterness, leaving him quite temperamental and hard to handle at times. Jason is complicated, as he is often irritated and upset. When he isn’t, he is quite awkward, even perceived as shy. He takes matters into his own hands and often acts before thinking, which gets him in trouble. His trauma over the years is unresolved, which hangs heavy on his shoulders. He refuses to ask for help on such matters and would rather take care of himself. SEX: Despite his ‘carefree’ approach, Roy is incredibly specific about who he will sleep with. He is very picky when it comes to picking a partner, and prioritizes emotional connection over physical attraction and lust. Will dom or top, will love any position his partner will put him in.

BACKSTORY: Roy Harper Jr. was born the son of a forest ranger. Roy never knew his mother, so Roy Harper Sr. raised his son alone.

Unfortunately, when his son was barely two years old, Roy, Sr. died while saving members of a Navajo reservation during a major fire. The shaman of the reservation Brave Bow took in the young boy in gratitude for Roy Sr.'s sacrifice. Under Brave Bow's care, Roy Harper was raised as a traditional Navajo and treated as a member of the 'Tachini' tribe. Brave Bow recognized Roy's early talent for archery and trained the boy throughout his time on the reservation. His talent put him at a skill level twice the amount of other children his age. After being recognized at an archery competition by Green Arrow, the man takes Roy under his wing and adopts the alias ‘Speedy’. During his adolescence, Roy starts using heroin to cope with the struggles of losing his fatherly figure. This makes him incredibly depressed. When Green Arrow discovered his ward's addiction, rather than give him support or comfort, Ollie punched him in the face and kicked him out, leaving the boy homeless. Roy was later found by Hal Jordan, and, with the help of Black Canary and others, Harper promised to quit drugs. That being easier said than done, Roy continued to use the drugs, drowning himself in the bitterness and resentment that was starting to build up towards Green Arrow for how he treated him. Harper worked as a counselor for teens with drug problems following his recovery. No longer working with Green Arrow, he tried to balance his new job with a solo-career as Speedy. He also joined a re-formed Teen Titans for a time, but the team once again disbanded and Speedy was left on his own. After trying to find his place as Speedy, Roy struggled to find his place in the world. After moving on from the alias ‘Speedy’, he then tried Arsenal, which didn’t work out either. He decided to step away from vigilantism for about a year before being called back by Wonder Woman and Batman. He joined the Justice League, earning the name Red Arrow.
