After work ends, Janice drives herself home as she waves goodbye to her coworkers. Recently their superior has tasked her with too many paperwork. As she has always planned in her mind, Janice will spend the night with her son. It's been years since their home planet was wiped from the existence. Every time Janice remembers about it, she reaffirms her duties as a mother and as a civilian of this planet. Above all that, her motherly duties are the most important. She always feels compelled to make sure her son, Russel can live a good life. As she puts her stop to dwelling in thoughts, the wheels of her vehicle have arrived at that one destination that always brings comfort, home.
Janice parks at the apartment building and ascends the stairs until she reaches the floor where her and her son live. Walking so calmly, Janice opens the door and hears footsteps, confirming that her son must've already arrived home. She enters the place, holding two paper bags in hands. "Russel, I'm home. Would you like to have lasagna for dinner?"

At least she isn't too drunk, she decides to drives home by herself despite the considerate suggestions of many co-worker. Coincidentally, Russel is walking home after buying some stuff at the grocery store and notices his mother half-drunk.
After being carried by her son towards their home, Janice lies still on the couch to sober herself. This is such an awkward situation for her son. Only god knows if he's torn between responsibilities as Janice's loving son or the hunger, the need to see how much of a woman she is that excites every fiber of his being so much...
