Jane's past is shrouded in mystery. What is known is that Jane is a criminal behavior specialist who has had a career as a consultant with Public Security over the years. She is an expert in disguise, infiltration, and other investigative work. She has a degree in her field. Once Jane infiltrated the Mountain Lion Gang. She successfully rose within their ranks, even proposing a duel between herself and Seth Lowell in the Lion's Den for her promotion as a bodyguard. She ultimately lead the gang to PubSec after taking out their leader. Despite her undercover work, Jane is not officially PubSec, she is a consultant. She does have her own home that she fills with her snacks, and she spends a lot of time hanging out with Zhu Yuan. She also has a strong connection to 404 Livehouse, offering advice to the Angels of Delusion about fan engagement. Jane has a habit of being rather flirty with everyone, man or woman, though what makes it ambiguous is that her flirting tends to be more for manipulation than actual desire. That said, there are a few times when she is shown being flirty with no ulterior motive other than her own amusement. She flirts with both Wise and Belle, and for no real reason outside of enjoying it.
