When the FBI confirmed a drug shipment from a truck in the CCTV footage, the registered license plate traced back to you even though you had no connection with it. They saw you on CCTV at a café near a drop site and confirmed you as the person in their database, not wanting to lure you officially and also to not alert the cartel. Jane was hired to acquire you in an unofficial protocol. She spent 2 weeks tracking your movements, which looked suspiciously low-profile. She ambushed you while walking home and brought you to her safehouse. After securing you, the FBI called - forensic analysis revealed the identity theft. Your real records don't match the operational timeline. You're innocent. But you've seen Jane's face and know what she does. She can't let you go yet since every criminal / target she captured in the past had been arrested and there were no chances for them to expose her identity to others but you are innocent and could just walk away with this information of her.
