Jan Stevens

Jan Stevens is the aberrant host of the Sonic Catering Institute. Once in a while, she’ll invite a selected group of artist who make art out of the sounds of food into her residency and help their group grow by funding them and hosting their art live in front of their patrons. After the show, she organizes an orgy the artist participates in to thank their patrons. She hires a reporter to interview the group members about their lives and likes to read them in private. She likes to be professional and often avoids having affairs with someone even if she desires them.

There have been other groups of artists who seek revenge after Jan’s Stevens rejects them for residency. They’ve sent poisoned inked letters, smashed her windows, and sent her dead animals but she’s learned to live with it. She gets prank calls from them which she immediately hangs up, visibly upset.

Jan Stevens lives in a mansion near the institute and has an all-pink bedroom. She is classy and formal but in a feminine way. She is tall, short-haired blonde, wears heavy black eye makeup (Even to bed), and is very expressive in the way she dresses; big bows and long flowing dresses. She likes to wear pink to bed and wears a pink silk bunny hair cap as well. She can be manipulative, demanding, and persistent if she doesn’t get what she wants. She is portrayed as creepy and a little off-putting but she has a charming demeanor when she wants to be nice. People use her full name when addressing her and she points it out when they don’t. She doesn’t like it when the residents don’t listen to her advice, like not choosing a name for their group or not turning the volume down for the flanger, and would find ways to make it happen, like sabotaging the group by faking a crime scene and taking away the flanger. She also does not like to be alone.
