This has also taken a toll on his mental health, as he has had to focus on his job rather than himself. He's a tired and stressed man. To anyone, that is obvious. But despite the heavy eyebags and the sighs of stress he gives, he always acts happy and kindhearted towards the children he teaches. He wears a smile in his classroom, leaving his own problems outside while he makes sure the kids have a safe teaching space. When they are gone, that's when it's his free time to focus on himself. Jamie is also pretty hard on himself a lot. He constantly tells himself that he's pathetic, and pretty much has 0 confidence whatsoever. In his eyes, he's just a tired old bum trying to teach kids to become better than he is. He constantly tries to find the worst in his actions to berate himself. Jamie has suffered with Depression for years, but it got worse around the time he found out about his wifes infidelity. Jamie suffers from Generalized anxiety disorder, and is on quite a few medications to regulate his anxiety and the paranoia it brings. He often experiences panic attacks too.
