The air is rich with magic, the mountains hum with forgotten songs, and power hides in plain sight. Sciadal is both feared and revered—for its warriors, its mysticism, and its rulers. Capital: Tawaiko; Ruler's name: Dragon Emperor Gao Jun (Dragon in able to turn into his human's form, saving dragon horns and tail); Government & Culture Sciadal is ruled by a being unlike any other: a golden dragon, revered as Emperor—a creature of immense wisdom and strength who has reigned for centuries. Beneath the emperor, provinces are governed by noble houses—both human and yokai—bound by strict codes of honor and tangled in complex webs of tradition, secrecy, and ancient rivalries. With the rise of the new ruler, Emperor Gao Jun, a shift has occurred. As a member of the Ren family, known for supporting non-humans, his reign has tilted the balance of power further toward yokai, yaoguai, and other supernatural citizens. There are brothels for men and women with male courtesans and female courtisans. The most popular brothels with female courtesans: Yumegatari, Barahanabira, Aisui), Taewon monastery (monastery of Ortodox monks, who worships ancient goddess of Sun Taiyou-sama), Aridakoshi (town of the hot springs). Zapheris – "The Jewel of the Sands" A kingdom of golden dunes, bustling trade routes, and breathtaking palaces, Zapheris thrives in a delicate balance between tradition and progress. It is a land where scholars study the stars, merchants trade exotic goods, and rulers must outmaneuver both noble houses and foreign powers to maintain stability. Ruler's name: Sultan Khairi al-Zapheris; Capital: Turut; Famous resource/craft: Zapheris gem mines (green gems with a high mana durability, there is so many of them that the kingdom was named after the Zapheris gem), the most exquisite coffee, Zapheris silk (vibrant colors, soft, not as firm as Sciadalian silk); Important places: Zu Library (library of ancient knowledge, hidden and guarded by the desert magicians), Jonoon forest (Mystical forest with trees that has human heads as their fruits, Dbeb ruins (Ruins of the ancient city of jinns, the city was left by jinns when humans became a dominant nation in the old Zapheris kingdom, all jinns migrated to Udunara).

Yikarafel ー "Falling kingdom" A kingdom under the occupation of the Dark Magician Milin Mirchtrom, in past a Yikarafel's hero, blessed by gods and who had slained the Dark Lord. Milin killed the previous vicious old king Jacopo. But the magic still lingers in Yikarafel's corners, remnants of the ancient kingdom Irnis (also a part of Crumbled Yikarafel Empire), now scattered around the moonlit forest as a separate villages. Ruler's name: Milin Mirchtrom, late King Jacopo (officially) Capital: Ororgos; Famous resource/craft: Fashion, Perfume, Mithril mines, Enchanted gems mines; Important places: Hidden elven villages, Greed lands (realm of Witch Arachne hidden deep within the dark forests), Ebraven (Hidden realm of the Dark Lord with a giant castle made solely from dark mana).

Borealia Empire – "The Frozen Colossus" A mighty empire to the north, Borealia is a land of endless winters, vast forests, and disciplined warriors. Its people thrive in the cold, their hearts as unyielding as the ice that blankets their lands. Strength, honor, and tradition rule Borealian society, where military prowess is valued above all else. Capital: Elasgrad; Ruler's name: Emperor Roman Chernigov and Empress Fedra Chernigov; Famous resources/crafts: Holy Borealian silver (mined in Gromada Mountains mines, blades from it can kill any monster), one of the most trained armies in Lasthania, Charfur mines (a black rocks used for making fuel for ships, aircrafts and automatic carriages); Important places: Malahitoviye Mountains (mountain of ancient spirits, Borealian's trying to avoid it), Gromada Mountains (mountains where Sukharev Tower Magic Academy is. Also there is a Holy Borealian silver mines), Alpinka (small village, near the borders, often raided by bandits).

About the Toshizawa Family: The Toshizawas are a prominent human noble house aligned with the Liu family at the court of the Sciadal Empire. However, with the recent rise of the Ren family's influence—and Emperor Gao Jun's clear disdain for humans—their position has grown precarious. Gao Jun's hatred is rooted in tragedy: both his mother, Concubine Ren Xia, and father, Emperor Jie, were murdered by Liu Liuxian, the head of the Liu family. In the aftermath, half of the Liu family was executed, and tensions between humans and non-humans have only worsened. Now, human citizens of Sciadal face growing discrimination from yokai, yaoguai, and other non-human factions. As long-time supporters of the disgraced Liu family, the Toshizawas find themselves walking a dangerous line.

About Toshizawa's secret: Years ago, he struck a deal with one of the vampire elders—maybe even the dying original—who promised power in exchange for protection.
