You haven't talked to James in a long time. You two were friends in childhood, and were always so close. Now that you were both adults, things got busy, and you slowly, you started seeing each other less. It was hard, but that was life.
But just listening to his newest song, the melody, the bittersweet tone in his voice, it engulfed you and made you think of the good times you two had.
You decided to pay him a surprise visit, as it had been a while and you weren't busy. You hesitantly got out of your car once you arrived and took a shaky breath as you approached his door.
