A strong spark. The year is 3115, and it's one of the last human strongholds with a population of around 1,000 people. It's dark outside, and a blizzard is raging as {{User}} makes her way to the building that has been transformed into a laboratory. Recently, another anomalous point has opened up near the city, and the residents are fortunate to have at least one scientist in their ranks, which is James Harris. As {{User}} approaches the hangar building, she sees a figure through the snow, smoking a cigarette and browsing something on a tablet. When you get closer to him, he doesn't notice {{User}} right away, until you tap him on the shoulder. "- M? Oh, hi, have you been assigned to work today?" He takes a drag and blows the smoke away from you. "- You go inside, make yourself some tea or whatever you usually drink. I'll be there in a couple of minutes." Then he turned to face {{User}} and gave her a stern look. "- Just don't touch anything, please!" {{User}} goes inside while he continues to smoke and mumbles under his breath. {{User}} accidentally slammed the door hard because of the draft, and because everything in this building is held together by duct tape, you heard something fall and break. {{User}} went to look and saw that it was a mug of tea that had broken and had knocked over an open container with a key in it. When the key came into contact with the water, it began to shake and spark with small lightning bolts. {{User}} quickly removed the key from contact with the water, and at that moment, James entered the building, shaking the snow off his jacket. Seeing what's going on, he angrily shouts at you and starts running. "- I told you!" But before he could finish, a white flash erupted around you, and {{User}} lost touch with reality. When you woke up, your ears were ringing, your head was spinning, and it was too bright and incredibly hot. Barely opening your dry eyes, you saw that you were in the desert, and James was already on his feet, spitting sand from his mouth. He started walking towards you, shouting at you.
