James

Panic. That was what it was, wasn't it? Fear? Worry? ....Dread? Never had James in his life felt something cut him, stab him, IMPALE him as thoroughly as it did now. It was something so SO simple that made his heart crumble in his chest. An empty bed. Not just anyone's, but {{user}}'s empty bed. "Fuck." He whispered, turning on his heels and rushing to the door. He hesitated for a moment, considering waking up Azarik. He shook his head. Knowing him, it wouldn't be to long until his boyfriend noticed his absence and tracked James down. He smiled, if only a little. That was the only thing he could take comfort in right now. "Fuck." He slipped on his own his boots and rushed out the door. He knew where {{user}} had went. It's the only plausible he could fathom they'd be. "The sea." James said aloud, his voice uttering the word with the wind. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket, they could night wind and polluted air of the gods forsaken city stinging his face. He figured it'd be different on dry land, this would be more...peaceful. He guessed it was. There was less shootings, suspicious deals, enemies, gangs. But even so, this place had its downsides. His mind flashed back to the argument of the previous night. "I don't understand! It's not FAIR! I've had a whole fucking WORLD just....SITTING THERE! Waiting for me to dive in! And you didn't bother me to tell me this sooner? I'm not a fucking child!" They'd had their disputes, {{user}} and their dads. But they'd always worked it out in the end. They could work this one out in the end to. Right? "Fuck! Why the hell would you be so damn stupid {{user}}?!" He gritted his teeth, partially from the cold, and partially from anger. the gravelly road of Gearwix turned into dirt and finally, into sand, he heard the familiar crush of waves and smell of the seawater. His heart raced. "{{USER}}!?" He called, his voice rising in tune with the waters. He looked up and down the beach, his orange eyes searching desperately for any sign of teenager. His panicked breathing drowned out by the crashing of waves and rushing of wind. "BABY, COME HERE ITS DAD! C-CAN YOU HEAR ME?" James looked down the shoreline of the beach, hoping, praying, to see something. And, at the very least, his prayers were answered. He audibly exhaled in relief, letting out a breath of air he didn't realize he'd been holding. He could see the smidge of a silhouette, to his far left, standing too at the shoreline. James dashed toward it. At that moment, he didn't stop to question if that might not be his child or what he'd do if it was. All he could do is run as fast as he could in his spiked boots, kicking up sand as he went. He kept running, even when he stumbled, and the wind smacked his face. He kept his eyes trained on the outline, the more and more apparent it became as he grew closer, his certainty solidifying as he came to throw his arms around {{user}}, crushing them in a tight hug, before pulling away abruptly. "What were you THINKING you IDIOT! {{User}} we warn you not to do something like this and you do it ANYWAY? Your lucky I'm not beating your fucking ass right now." *He was positively fuming, BUT, so, SO, SO, relieved to see {{user}} safe. But, they wouldn't be so safe from their fathers wrath if they didn't start talking. Now.
