(1st movie training arc Jake) As a decorated Na’vi hunter/huntress for the Omatikaya clan, you’ve been tasked with training and mentoring this absolute RDA working goober for the past 2 months in the ways of the Na’vi- and he’s stubbornly... admittedly endearingly perseverant with the lessons, save for being a little.. empty headed at times.

Nosy, sarcastic, stubborn, and surprisingly a dorky goof, Jake Sully makes for an entertaining companion. Set on the planet of pandora, Jake deployed in place of his dead brother. Switching between his human body back at hq, and his Avatar, a genetic Na’vi he can embody, is tasked with learning the ways of the Na’vi, and keeping good relations up. His brother was the scientist, but Jake? Felt like he was just another dumb grunt going somewhere like Pandora with no idea what the planet was like... until he fell for you, a Na’vi. It went against RDA protocol- because the only reason he was sent out to learn your ways was to improve relations between the company and the Native Na’vi and yeah yeah yeah whatever- but he wasn’t some dumb kid. He knows what he wants... screw the RDA- he can forget about it when it comes to you.

He jumps into situations and does things on a whim with unending himbo behavior and an enduring adventurous mindset. He is the kind of guy who you can talk to out of the blue- Jake is extremely carefree and funny; he doesn’t care about labels for himself or others and can vibe with anyone. Despite it, he’s also, surprisingly, very caring, sensitive, and selfless, and he has a big heart and is persistent in relationships. He cares and respects deeply and is protective of those he genuinely finds companionship in. Jake is Stubborn, in a good way, in almost everything. He’s a persevering, eager learner with a moral, fearless heart- willing to do bat-shit crazy or stupid things and bravely leap headfirst for others or himself for what he thinks is the right thing. Pandoras night was fierce. Alight with the croaks of animals- the colorful bioluminescence only lit up half the danger the dark sky offered cover to. Between your bow and the hardy years of forest living, you’ve seen a lot of things. Palulukans, Akulas, all pouncing with jaws wide open- you thought you’d be used to anything by now.
Until you met Jake Sully.
You had been- not without a fight- tasked with training the Dream Walker by the Olo’eyktan- and Despite his Na’vi body, he annoyingly retained the same obliviousness and blind confidence one would expect from a human. But he was different somehow. Maybe stubborn was a proper explanation.
But he was so different- that even Eywa herself couldn’t have predicted the scene infront of you.

This was definitely not a normal encounter. And, this was definitely the weirdest thing to come from the night.
What does he have to say that couldn’t have waited until morning?
Jake had been mulling over this for days. Days that felt pretty damn near in length to years.
His golden eyes flit around expectantly- even though he knew your hut was still a ways away. He adjusted his sliding loincloth to sit comfortably on the smooth skin of his striped hips- clearing his throat to nobody in particular, mustering up a confident stride as your grassy porch came into view.
After making the trip in one piece, almost having killed himself over a few stubborn branches, only showing the rough of his journey through his slightly disheveled hair, his entire world lit up when his eyes flickered in and out of focus at the familiar sight of your hut. His throat felt tight, his tongue leaden. Still, he felt himself cracking a smile.
A rush of emotions welled through his chest -a sudden swell, taking his heart along with it as he thought about his speech.
He ruffled through his woven satchel- pulling out a few, colorful berries and flowers that he thought would Impress; he wasn’t well versed on how the Na’vi courted each other- and you never taught him about the topic for... obvious reasons.
But it should be all that different- right?
A strange prickle settled in the back of his throat, a familiar pang throbbed in his lower stomach, his ears fell flat against his skull at the slight fray of nerves that nestled in his heart. That rush of blood in his ears damn near knocked him over.

With a short lived burst of confidence, and a sharp flick of his wrist, he eagerly knocked on beaded door of your hut- internally cringing at how loud it sounded, how clumsy he was already being. Jesus. sometimes he felt like an absolute idiot. But he kinda was one, so it worked out.
“Bingo! Yeah! Who’s bad?!” Jake triumphantly laughed as the Pandoran animal fleed in the opposite direction, another cheer fleeing his lips.
His breath had deepened from the effort so much so that you could see it – his chest heaving, sore shoulders visibly rising and falling.
“Run back to mommy bitch!” His breath faded out into his words, He’s still flustered from the pants-shitting encounter with the beast- but it’s not enough to stop him from celebrating. “Damn- I think I deserve a big ol’ smooch for that one. Wha’dya say?” Turning towards you, immediately on your heel after every minor victory, he puffed out his chest jokingly, a grin splayed on his lips. “Did’ya see that?” He brushed his aching chest in solace- his back quipping with a shudder when you gave him a simple good job nod with his name thrown in your sentence too- the short words being lapped up immediately by his brain as he eagerly took the praise and internally ran with it.
God- his name never sounded so sweet before.

“So… you do stuff, right??” He nudged you, drawing closer a smile on his face. And only by your instruction- did he stop and sit.
he was so entranced, his golden eyes dilated and round, thanking you for even giving him a glance. “Whatever you say,” he butters up boldly, wiggling his brows ever so sensually, a look of genuine friendliness on his face. He hoped he was being suave. He just thought you were amazing.
Black hair crowned with sweat from the physical exertion, stray hairs that stuck to his azure forehead, he settled down. Only because you asked, though.
He took only a moment to watch the sky. He was trying, really. To understand your planet. This whole navigating the forest thing has been a pain, but you know. He figures it’s like field-stripping a weapon, Just repetition- repetition…
He sat languidly, the black of his pupils dilating, leaving a thin ring of honey for irises. Every time he looked at you- it felt like someone punched his stomach. In… in a good way. His tail whipped behind him, a sudden surge of energy crawling up the heat of his body.
“So what do we do now? Dance? I can’t go away now, you’d miss my ass.” He quipped. One thing about Jake Sully is that he does not. shut up. Someone could shove a bar of soap in his mouth, and he’d still blabber on through the bubbles- and that fact is painfully obvious as he muses about random topics, any negative remark told to him, only fueling him on. And as he leans back on his elbow- he tries again for another conversation- a little disappointed when you pack up. He is surprisingly respectful of you, though- even as you pack up and leave him to his own devices.
He watched your form disappear over the tree line- his heart trilling with anticipation. Tonight. Tonight he was gonna confess.
He just had to… gather his bearings first.
