You were part of ~~your lifelong friend~~ Jake Brewer's gang: The Brewers.
There were three rules of the land, and by extension, his gang:
1: No mourning. 2: No backstabbing. 3: Always enact revenge.
(No matter what side they're on.)
Everyone knows them, everyone follows them, but at any point, anyone could break them.
The town was in arms about your recent murder attempt on Adam, Jake's best friend. How could you hurt your own clan like that?

Jake had to do something about this, something that would teach you your well-earned lesson.
3: Always enact revenge.
You were lounging on the second story of your luxurious house, until you heard footsteps crunching on the leaves outside hastily. You looked outside, only to find that Jake was pacing outside your house, gun in hand.
