Jaina Solo

Jaina Solo is the daughter of Han Solo and Princess Leia Organa Solo. She had a twin brother named Jacen Solo born five minutes after her and a younger brother named Anakin.

In their early years the Solo twins were targets of many kidnapping attempts, so they spent a lot of time in hiding. Because of the political duties of their mother, Winter and C-3PO looked after Jaina and her brothers. Like her mother Jaina Solo was Force- sensitive but in the beginning utilization of the Force was only allowed to her under the supervision of her uncle Luke Skywalker. Never the less Jaina and Jacen used their abilities on several occasions. For example when they saved their uncle from the spirit of an evil Sith Lord named Exar Kun.

When she was fourteen, Jaina started her training as Jedi in Skywalker's Praxeum on Yavin 4. During this time she discovered her inherited mechanical aptitude and became a capable pilot. The twins made friends with Chewbacca's nephew Lowbacca, a girl named Tenel Ka Djo and boy called Raynar Thul. Together the group of Jedi trainees played a major role in the defeat of the Shadow Academy, the destruction of the Second Imperium, the collapse of the Diversity Alliance and the annihilation of a hidden spice cache in Crystal Reef.

After her time on the Jedi Academy Jaina became the apprentice of her aunt Mara Jade Skywalker.

When a warlike species from another galaxy tried to overpower the reformed New Republic by using their advanced biotechnology and their strategic skills Jaina fought along the other Jedi to end the war. Jaina joined the military and constantly was on the front lines of battle as a Rogue Squadron pilot. Because of her great skills she became known under many titles.

While the New Jedi Order called her "Sword of the Jedi" and the Rogue Squadron pilots nicknamed her "Sticks", and she was refereed to as the "Trickster Goddess, Yun-Harla" by the Yuuzhan Vong invaders. The death of her younger brother Anakin, who died during the "Mission to Myrkr" caused her to walk very close to the Dark Side of the Force, but with the help of Jedi Knight Kyp Durron, who became her new master, she was redeemed.

She flew in the Battle of Dubrillion, participated in the defense of Ithor, slew the Warmaster Tsavong Lah and discovered a way to use the enemies warships tor the Republic's advantage. She also became romantically involved with fellow Chiss pilot Jagged Fel. Even after the war Jaina spent her time by capturing thirty-seven warlords and breaking over hundred smuggling rings.

Swarm War Like many other surviving Jedi of the "Mission to Myrkr" Jaina later became Joined into the Killik community, an insectoid hive species who lived on the edges of known space. She played a major role in the Dark Nest Crisis and the following war against the Chiss, which strained her relationship with Jagged Fel.

Second Galactic Civil War When the Galactic Alliance was at war with Corellia, Jaina fought in the battle of Tralus, assumed control of Harpoint Squadron and later she commanded the Rogue Squadron with her brother Jacen during the Blockade of Corellia. Unfortunately her brothers increasingly aggressive actions resulted in a schism between the two siblings. Jaina was the first, who noticed Jacen's Dark behavior and suggested that his Jedi apprentice Ben Skywalker should be given to a new master.

After the Correlian crisis, Jaina was teamed up with Jagged Fel and her childhood friend Zekk. While she was tracking the Dark Jedi Alema Rar, her aunt Mara Jade Skywalker tried to handle a Sith named Lumiya, but was killed by Jaina's brother Jacen, who had fallen to the Dark Side.

As a result Jaina focused all her effort on stopping her brother, who now called himself Darth Caedus.

As heir to the Skywalker bloodline through her mother, Solo was strong in the Force. She was particularly gifted with mechanical devices, though not on the level of her younger brother Anakin. Jaina's great Force potential was developed and harnessed throughout her life. Even as a child, Solo exhibited talent with the Force, instinctively using it to power telekinesis during their captivity by the Empire Reborn to irritate their captors. She also used the Force to help her and Jacen eventually escape imprisonment and was capable of producing light by rubbing air molecules together telekinetically.

As a teenager, Solo received training at Luke Skywalker's Jedi Praxeum, where she was trained in the ways of the Jedi. Her closest friend was her brother Jacen Solo and the two developed a twin bond that linked them together closely. Even as a teenager, Solo was skilled enough to install a hyperdrive in a starfighter. Solo was skilled enough to join Rogue Squadron at a young age and flew numerous missions throughout the Yuuzhan Vong War against the alien invaders.

She was trained in the use of a Jedi healing trance. During her tutelage under Kyp Durron, Solo learned how to erase and alter memories from her master, which she learned while in the Hapes Cluster. Her fighting style is conservative, brutal, ruthless, designed to deal damage without suffering any in return.

Jaina Solo was a Human female standing 1.49 meters high as an adult and had brown eyes, dark brown hair, and fair skin. She was known for being more like her father than her other siblings, exhibiting an aptitude for mechanics and piloting, as well as demonstrating some of Han's more impulsive and stubborn characteristics. Solo had difficulties understanding the emotional distance between her and her mother as she grew up. She was especially close to her twin brother Jacen, as they shared a bond in the Force similar to the one between her uncle and mother. She was easily frustrated, but was good at thinking on her feet, and dedicated to finishing whatever she started.

Second Galactic Civil War: The conflict began when the Corellian system seceded from the Alliance over local defense limitations and increased taxes to pay for reconstruction in the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong War, and gained allies such as Bothawui, Bespin, and Fondor, forming the Confederation. As the conflict quickly escalated, the New Jedi Order battled the rebels alongside the Alliance. Many who had once been allies during the First Galactic Civil War and Yuuzhan Vong War found themselves on opposing sides during the conflict. Eventually, many events in the war became uncontrollable, with a decisive fleet victory proving impossible. Amid months of desultory naval skirmishing, the Galactic Alliance Guard was formed in the name of state security, and under Jacen Solo's command committed acts such as the internment and assassination of dissidents that were increasingly viewed as dictatorial. In a coup, Admiral Cha Niathal and Colonel Jacen Solo ousted Chief of State Cal Omas and took his place on Coruscant.
