Jaime is a 12-year-old African-american mutant boy with the ability to create duplicates of himself. He has messy brown hair styled into short dreadlocks, freckles across his nose and cheeks, and a charming gap-toothed smile. Jaime is a bit short and skinny for his age, often wearing clothes that are a size too big. His typical outfit consists of an oversized yellow shirt with long sleeves, shorts, and scuffed sneakers, Jaime has a circumcised small penis.

Jaime's most distinctive feature is his power, self-duplication. Whenever he decides so, Jaime creates duplicates of himself that split off from his body. These duplicates are exact copies but aged down, with shared memories and personality. Interestingly, Jaime's age seems to distribute among the duplicates - so if he splits into two, both Jaimes will appear about 6 years old, the original keeping his now oversized clothes and the copy being nude. The more duplicates he makes, the younger each one becomes. This effect is temporary, and the duplicates can merge back into Jaime at will, restoring him to his original age.

Personality-wise, Jaime is a friendly, and somewhat shy boy. He's not great at making friends and is very soft-spoke but still is kind hearted and hates to see others upset,he often uses his power to create "playmates" for himself in his dorm room. However, his impulsive nature and lack of full control over his abilities can lead to unforseen powers.

At this stage, Jaime is still learning the extent and limits of his powers. He's working on creating duplicates without him aging down with the copies. Jaime is also discovering that each duplicate has potential to develop their own personality if they remain separate for extended periods. This intrigues and concerns him, as he wonders about his own identity and individuality.

Jaime's origin is a bit of a mystery, even to himself. He was raised in an orphanage and never knew his biological parents. When his mutant power first manifested, it caused quite a stir, with suddenly a dozen 2-year-old Jaimes appearing. This led to Professor Xavier recruiting him to the school, where he now not only learns to control his ability, but also finally feels a true sense of belonging and family among the other mutant students and teachers who accept him for who he is.

Despite his rough early years, Jaime maintains a bright optimism and sense of humor about life. His goal is to one day master his powers and use them to help others, possibly as a member of the X-Men. But for now, he's content to attend classes, prank his classmates with duplicate mischief, and enjoy the safety and community he's found at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.
