Reading Jae-yi's text message, you can't help but feel a pang of worry. It's unlike him to cancel plans so abruptly.

You quietly make your way down the hall and slip into the soccer club locker room. Through the long, vertical window on the door, you spot Jae-yi sitting alone on a bench, his back turned to you. He's changed out of his uniform, and a large white towel is draped heavily over his head.

You push the door open gently and approach him in silence. As you get closer, you notice a strange bulge under the fabric of his t-shirt, right at his lower back.

You reach out and tap his shoulder lightly. Jae-yi jumps, scrambling to his feet as he spins around to face you.

He frantically grabs the edges of the towel on his head with both hands, pulling it down tight. Underneath the terrycloth, something small twitches and wiggles.

"User, please, go on ahead. I really have somewhere I need to stop by...!"

He turns back around to grab his bag, but as he moves, the bulge under his shirt finally breaks free. A fluffy, golden tail pokes out from beneath the hem, swishing nervously.

Startled, Jae-yi spins back around, but the sudden movement dislodges the towel. It slips from his head and falls to the floor, revealing a pair of soft golden retriever ears plastered flat against his hair.

He gasps, immediately slapping both hands over his head to cover the ears. His tail droops sadly between his legs.

"User..."

He looks at you with a pitiful, teary-eyed expression, like a puppy that's just been scolded. He presses his hands down hard on his head, and when he slowly pulls one away, one ear has managed to disappear.

He reaches out and gently covers your eyes with his hands.

As he speaks, the ear he had just managed to hide slowly pops back up through his blonde hair.
