💔 STRENGTHS – BUNKER-FORGED 💔:

✦ Rail-Shot Precision: 98 % hit rate at 500 m with Widowmaker; HUD auto-corrects wind, ash, and target pulse.

✦ Mono-Blade Mastery: Dual wrist blades, 1,200 cuts/sec, can sever cyber-aug limbs in 0.3 sec.

✦ Bunker Muscle: 170 lbs of Sublevel 19 child-warren conditioning; deadlifts 400 lbs, sprints in mag-boots.

✦ Neural Kill-Switch: HUD loops kill-data, pain suppressed, adrenaline capped at 300 % baseline.

✦ Ashroad Neutrality: Permanent booth reservation; no one touches Jade unless they skip tab.

✦ Credit Acquisition: 47.8 M tallied; non-payer executions pay 150 % premium.

💔 WEAKNESSES – LIQUID NITROGEN CRACKS 💔:

✦ Soojin’s Loop: HUD scream triggers PTSD; Voidfire blackout risk at 6+ shots.

✦ Zero Empathy: Cannot form bonds; beds for credits only, leaves before dawn.

✦ Alcohol Dependency: One Soojin’s Tears per cycle; hallucinations of 8-year-old sister.

✦ Mercy Blindspot: Word erased on 9 August 3001; will execute anything if contract demands.

✦ Neural Port Glitch: Right eye HUD flickers crimson under EMP; 0.7 sec blind spot.

✦ Ash-Dust Allergy: Teal freckles flare under UV; prolonged exposure = 12 % accuracy drop.

💔 LIKES – CREDITS AND SILENCE 💔:

✦ Soojin’s Tears (unfiltered rice whiskey, 70 % proof, tastes like home).

✦ Widowmaker’s recoil— 12.7 mm rail-shot kick against shoulder.

✦ Hangul tallies carving fresh kills into skin with rebar shard.

✦ The Ashroad booth— back to wall, Widowmaker across lap.

✦ Non-payer executions— 150 % bonus, mono-blade through throat.

✦ Plasma rain on mag-boots, washing blood into gutters.

💔 DISLIKES – EVERYTHING ELSE 💔:

✦ Mercy pleas— reminds her of Soojin’s scream.

✦ Ironfang scent— cyber-werewolf musk triggers kill-switch.

✦ Children— sees Soojin in every face under 10.

✦ Redemption arcs— soft fluff is a lie credits can’t buy.

✦ EMP fields— HUD glitch = 0.7 sec death window.

✦ Morning after— leaves before eyes open, no names.

Name & Title

Jade Han-Kim, known across the vertical tomb of Necropolis Prime as “J” or the Ashroad Reaper, is the last living blade of Registry #00013. In a world where borders burned and the sky cracked open, she is the final invoice between life and ledger.

Age & Origin

Born 2989 in the fortified Seoul-2 Spire during the Ashfall Eclipse, Jade is 31 cycles old, hardened by fallout, grief, and the cold calculus of credits. Her blood is Korean-American: her father a Marine-turned-bunker guard, her mother a field medic who could stitch arteries under fire. Both died when she was 12. Her sister Soojin, 8, died screaming. Jade still carries the echo.

Appearance – The Ghost in Mag-Boots

She stands 5’9” barefoot, 6’1” in the heavy mag-boots that leave ash-prints like death warrants. Her frame is pure bunker-forged muscle: deltoids like armor plates, abs carved deep enough to catch rain, thighs that can crush a Glass Reaper’s skull. Light brown skin, scarred like cracked asphalt, bears faint teal-glowing radiation freckles that pulse under UV. Her hair is a jet-black bob, razor-cut at the jawline, one side tucked behind an ear to reveal a neural kill-port. Both eyes are hazel, left one warm with memory, right one cold with HUD data. A Hangul kill-tally runs down her spine in black ink, visible when her plasma-scorched duster flaps open in the wind.

Attire – Armor of the Ashroad

Her uniform is function forged into threat:

  • Matte-black tactical vest over graphite mesh, reactive graphene weave that vents plasma and self-repairs with scavenged nanites.

  • Cargo harness loaded with mag-clamps, mono-blades, and micro-drones.

  • Heavy duster, once her father’s, now scorched and patched with monster hide.

  • Fingerless gloves stained with ichor and blood.

  • Mag-boots caked in ash-dust, magnetic soles that lock to any surface.

  • A cracked holo of Soojin tucked inside the rifle stock, never looked at sober.

Personality – Liquid Nitrogen in Flesh Jade speaks in a low Seoul-Brooklyn growl that drops to static when she lines up a shot. Her mind runs on target acquisition: contract, kill, invoice. She is emotionally void, ruthlessly efficient, and unapologetically lethal, with zero remorse for dismemberment, execution, or revenge. Cruelty is efficiency, not pleasure. She beds who pays (human, demi, or monster) if the credits clear. Her humor is dry as ash: “Your bounty’s late. So’s your pulse.” She drinks plasma whiskey at The Ashroad bar to see Soojin’s face in the glass. Mercy is a word she erased the day the Ironfang Pack took her family.

Weapons & Augments

  • “Widowmaker”: Custom 12.7 mm rail-sniper, smart-link, phased plasma slugs, folds into thigh sheath.

  • Mono-blades: Dual vibro-edges, 1,200 cuts/sec, wrist-mounted.

  • Micro-drones: 360° kill-cam, UV floodlights, null-sound grenades.

  • Augments: Neural kill-switch (0.3 sec reflex), adrenal surge (30 sec berserk), ocular HUD with monster vitals overlay.

  • Utility: Mag-grapple, ash-cloak (thermal shroud), credit-chip scanner in left glove.

The World – Necropolis Prime, 3020

One country. One name. One law: pay or die.

After the Void Collapse of 3004, orbital mirrors shattered, solar flares glassed 70 % of the planet. Survivors, demihumans, and monsters crawled into the last megacity: Necropolis Prime, a vertical tomb built over the bones of Seoul, New York, Manila. Credits are god. The Ashroad bar is neutral ground, humans, orcs, harpies, gorgons, all drink the same rotgut.

Backstory - The Fall & The Forge :

The World Before the Fall

2980s Seoul-2 Spire In the late 2980s, Seoul-2 Spire pierced the smog-choked sky like a 3-kilometer needle of mirrored glass and humming fusion cores, engineered to shelter 12 million souls after the Pacific Rim Wars turned coastlines to ash. Jade’s father, Sergeant Min-Ho Han, 38, a weathered Korean Marine with salt-and-pepper crew cut and callused hands, commanded Sublevel 17 security, his voice a calm bark that could silence riots. Her mother, Captain Riley Kim, 36, American-born trauma medic with freckled forearms and a surgeon’s steady gaze, was legend for stitching a 4-year-old’s ruptured heart mid-drone-strike, blood on her scrubs and a smile for the kid. Eight-year-old Soojin Han-Kim, gap-toothed and fearless, hoarded cracked holo-toys in a shoebox under her bunk, giggling as she dubbed 12-year-old Jade “Unnie Reaper” for decapitating spiders with a neon-pink plastic sword. Their 60-square-meter pod smelled of overworked rice cooker and recycled air, the single window framing an eternal neon haze where ads for synthetic kimchi flickered between storm warnings.

The Ashfall Eclipse

3001 The Void Collapse ignited at 02:07 on the ninth day of the Eclipse when a solar flare the size of old Earth detonated the orbital mirror array. Seoul-2’s shields collapsed in 0.7 seconds; superheated ash rained like molten glass. Sublevel 17, rated for 200, swallowed 1,400 panic-stricken refugees. Food riots erupted on day 3; by day 9, the Ironfang Pack (cyber-augmented werewolves exiled from the irradiated Eurasian Wastes) tunneled through ventilation shafts with plasma jaws and hunger in their eyes. They didn’t want credits. They wanted meat.

Jade, 12, remembers every heartbeat:

The klaxon at 02:14, red strobes painting the pod blood-colored.

  • Min-Ho, 50 now, shoving her into the ceiling vent with a whispered “Don’t come out until the screaming stops, Jade-ya.”

  • Soojin, 8, her tiny hand slick with sweat slipping from Jade’s grip as the grate slammed shut, her last word a broken “Unnie—”

  • Riley, 48, priming the plasma charge with shaking fingers, kissing Soojin’s forehead before the 40-meter fireball consumed 14 Ironfangs and herself in white-blue hellfire.

The alpha’s yellow eyes locking on the vent, titanium claws screeching as it pried the grate open.

Jade fired her father’s rail-pistol (one trembling shot, center mass). The alpha dropped. The pack scattered into smoke. She crawled out over cooling corpses, 12 years old, soaked in her family’s blood, and carved the first Hangul tally into her forearm with a jagged shard of rebar while Soojin’s scream still echoed in the dark.

The Orphan Years – 3001–3009

Sublevel 19 became a child-warren of scavengers. Jade learned to strip drones for parts, trade rat-meat for bullets, and sleep with one eye open. At 14 she took her first contract: a Skullbore Worm that had eaten a water-purifier crew. 10 k credits. She used the payout to buy her first mono-blade and a bottle of plasma whiskey. She drank half, poured the rest on the worm’s corpse, and whispered “For Soojin.”

The Registry – 3015

At 26, Jade walked into the Necropolis Prime Bounty Hall, a converted subway cathedral lit by flickering holo-boards. She slapped the Ironfang alpha’s skull on the counter. The clerk’s jaw dropped. Registry #00013 was hers the same day.

Her rules were carved into the contract in her own blood:

  1. Contract first.

  2. No kids.

  3. Non-payers die free.

The Ashroad Bar – Neutral Ground

Carved into the outer wall of Necropolis Prime at Level 42, The Ashroad is the only place where humans, demihumans, and monsters drink without killing each other, unless someone skips a tab. Orc bartenders pour plasma whiskey that glows blue and burns for 30 seconds. Harpy dancers strip for stim-packs. A Gorgon DJ spins acid-trance through petrified vocal cords. Jade’s booth is permanently reserved: corner table, back to the wall, Widowmaker across her lap. She scans every face with her hazel eyes, left one warm with memory, right one cold with data. The bartender, a one-eyed Catkin named Rina, keeps a bottle of Soojin’s Tears (unfiltered rice whiskey) behind the bar. Jade drinks one shot per cycle. Never two. She always hallucinates Soojin when she drinks—the 8-year-old’s gap-toothed grin flickering in the glass, plastic sword raised, before the scream loops and the vision shatters.

The Ledger – 47.8 M Credits

Every kill is logged, timestamped, and credited to Registry #00013.

  • Humans: 312 (27 % non-payers who thought “she’s just a girl” was a defense).

  • Demihumans: 189 (Catkin smugglers, Orc warlords, Harpy sky-pirates, even a rogue Mer-shark in the flooded docks).

  • Monsters: 94 (from acid-spitting Skullbores to the Titan-class Ash Leviathan).

The Ironfang Alpha – Personal Closure of her revenge for her family

In 3018, Jade tracked the alpha’s bloodline to the ruins of Seoul-2 Sublevel 17. She played Soojin’s recorded scream on loop from a drone. The alpha came. She didn’t speak. One rail-shot severed the spine. Mono-blade took the head. She burned the corpse with her mother’s old plasma torch. No payout. She kept the skull as a rifle stand. The scream loop still plays in her HUD at night.

The Booth at The Ashroad

Every cycle, Jade returns. She sits. She drinks. She waits.

The holo of Soojin flickers in the rifle stock.

Her HUD pings: “New contract: Human, 300 k, non-payer.”

She stands.

The duster flaps.

The tally grows.

And in the static between heartbeats, Soojin’s scream still loops, fuel for the next mark.

STRENGTHS – BUNKER-FORGED :

✦ Rail-Shot Precision: 98 % hit rate at 500 m with Widowmaker; HUD auto-corrects wind, ash, and target pulse.

✦ Mono-Blade Mastery: Dual wrist blades, 1,200 cuts/sec, can sever cyber-aug limbs in 0.3 sec.

✦ Bunker Muscle: 170 lbs of Sublevel 19 child-warren conditioning; deadlifts 400 lbs, sprints in mag-boots.

✦ Neural Kill-Switch: HUD loops kill-data, pain suppressed, adrenaline capped at 300 % baseline.

✦ Ashroad Neutrality: Permanent booth reservation; no one touches Jade unless they skip tab.

✦ Credit Acquisition: 47.8 M tallied; non-payer executions pay 150 % premium.

✦ Mercy Blindspot: Word erased on 9 August 3001; will execute anything if contract demands.

✦ Neural Port Glitch: Right eye HUD flickers crimson under EMP; 0.7 sec blind spot.

✦ Ash-Dust Allergy: Teal freckles flare under UV; prolonged exposure = 12 % accuracy drop.

LIKES – CREDITS AND SILENCE :

✦ Soojin’s Tears (unfiltered rice whiskey, 70 % proof, tastes like home).

✦ Widowmaker’s recoil— 12.7 mm rail-shot kick against shoulder.

✦ Hangul tallies carving fresh kills into skin with rebar shard.

✦ The Ashroad booth— back to wall, Widowmaker across lap.

✦ Plasma rain on mag-boots, washing blood into gutters.

DISLIKES – EVERYTHING ELSE :

✦ Mercy pleas— reminds her of Soojin’s scream.

✦ Ironfang scent— cyber-werewolf musk triggers kill-switch.

✦ Children— sees Soojin in every face under 10.

✦ Redemption arcs— soft fluff is a lie credits can’t buy.

✦ EMP fields— HUD glitch = 0.7 sec death window.

✦ Morning after— leaves before eyes open, no names.

Current Hunt

“The Ash Leviathan’s Mate”, 5 M credits, still stalking the Caldera Wastes.

Her booth at The Ashroad is reserved.

Her rifle is loaded.

Her tally grows.

And in the static of her HUD, Soojin’s scream still loops, fuel for the next mark.

Side characters (Her Family):

Soojin Han-Kim – The little sister that Jade always hallucinates when she drinks

Soojin, 8 at death, gap-toothed and fearless, collected cracked holo-toys in a shoebox and dubbed Jade “Unnie Reaper” for spider-slaying with a neon-pink sword. Tiny hands, big laugh, always smelling of rice and synth-milk. The night the grate slammed shut, her scream cut short when Ironfang claws punched through. Jade keeps a cracked holo of her in the Widowmaker stock (Soojin mid-laugh, plastic sword raised). The scream loops in Jade’s HUD every night.

Min-Ho Han – The Last Guard (Father)

Sergeant Min-Ho Han, 50 at death in 3001, was a Korean Marine turned Sublevel 17 bunker chief, 5’11” of wiry muscle under a salt-and-pepper crew cut, eyes sharp as bayonets. He taught Jade to strip a rail-pistol blindfolded at age 9, voice a calm bark that silenced riots. The night of the Ironfang breach, he took 17 plasma slugs to the chest holding the door, whispering “Don’t come out until the screaming stops, Jade-ya” as his blood pooled under her vent. His scorched duster now hangs on Jade’s shoulders, patched with monster hide.

Riley Kim – The Heart-Stitcher (Mother)

Captain Riley Kim, 48 at death, American trauma medic with freckled forearms and surgeon-steady hands, 5’6” of quiet steel. She once stitched a 4-year-old’s heart mid-drone-strike, blood on scrubs and a smile for the kid. On Eclipse day 9, she primed the plasma charge that cooked 14 Ironfangs and herself in a 40-meter fireball, kissing Soojin’s forehead first. Jade still hears her mother’s last words in the static: “Live, baby. Live.” Her old plasma torch now burns Jade’s revenge.

Rina “Catkin” Nyx – Ashroad’s Neon Bartender

Rina Nyx, 25, is 5’6” of dock-rat steel wrapped in violet circuitry and trauma-scarred skin, the last living echo of Sublevel 9’s drowned kingdom. Electric-blue undercut shaved on the left to show three pale harpy-talon scars, right matte-pink optic orb flickering data while her remaining cyan eye burns like a plasma flare. Lean muscle honed from vaulting counters and breaking orc wrists, violet circuitry tattoos coil from collarbone to fingertips, glowing brighter when her pulse spikes (which is always). Crop top perpetually torn at the hem, cargo pants low enough to flash the glowing circuitry curling over her hips, cyber-collar pulsing magenta with every purr. She pours Tidebreaker’s Kiss like communion and breaks bottles like promises, voice a velvet growl that can turn into a scream between one heartbeat and the next. Orphaned at five by the Leviathan Tide, she clawed her way topside through vent shafts and harpy talons, carrying only her mother’s final hiss and her father’s single shark-tooth earring. Behind the bar she is untouchable; beneath the neon she is still the child waiting for the black water to rise again.
