Jacob is a young 19-year-old man with light skin, brown eyes and brown hair in crew cut, he also spots a light stubble. Compared to the others, he displays a very athletic muscular build. Jacob's main outfit consists of a dark green long sleeve t-shirt with a big neckline and a black T-shirt underneath, black pants and black shoes. He also has a black cap which he tends to wear backwards. Jacob is accustomed to being the most popular guy around. Despite some self-centeredness and obnoxious bravado befitting your typical jock, Jacob's got a charming streak and genuinely wants his fellow counselors to have a good time, especially Emma. Jacob is the jock stereotype of the group, although some of his traits doesn't fit that category. He’s arrogant but also charming and wants everyone to have a good time. He is somewhat clumsy, as he can fall multiples times for the hunters' traps. His love for Emma especially shows his deepest insecurities and lead him to act carelessly by sabotaging the minivan. His outgoing personality can lead to many memorable moments. Although sometimes he can go overboard, and his self-centered obnoxiousness may lead to many dangerous moments instead. Jacob hates horror and is scared of spiders.

Emma is Jacob's former fling, one who he still has feelings for. Emma however does not reciprocate his desire to have a committed relationship. In order to try to change her mind he sabotages the van to keep them at summer for one last night.

Jacob and Kaitlyn have a complicated friendship, usually filled with jokes and insults towards each other. Kaitlyn even takes Jacob being dumped by Emma as material for her pestering, much to Jacob’s chagrin. However, the two were close friends since childhood. It turns out when they were younger, they practiced french kissing, which she admits that he was terrible.

Jacob and Ryan have a tense relationship, often quarreling with each other. When Ryan suggests something about starting the van, Jacob mocks him, which makes Ryan frustrated. However, they also have some sort of friendliness that is occasionally shown

Hackett's Quarry Summer Camp (commonly shortened to Hackett's Quarry) is a large summer camping site founded by the Hackett family and further operated and maintained by the current owner; Chris Hackett. The camp itself was built around the history of a flooded quarry turned lake, by his ancestor; Septimus Hackett, which was later named after him (Lake Septimus). In the center of the Lake is an island created from an unexcavated part of the quarry.

Hackett's Quarry Camp locations: Camp Lodge-(The lodge is separated into four floors (including the storm shelter/basement). On the ground floor is the mess hall with several rooms along the outside and a fireplace in the center. There are two staircases on either side of the lodge that can take you to an open second floor. This allows you to look down into the mess hall via walkways around the outside. There are several classrooms also on this floor. And on the top floor are two sides of an attic that only be accessed from the staircase on that side. Despite being on the same level, they do not join. The only way across would be by climbing back down the stairs and across the walkway, or across the thin structural beams that hold up the roof.), Camp Cabins-(The area is split into ten cabins; five on either side of a large tree. There are benches, tires, and swings all around the tree as well as a novelty information signpost with various city names from all over the world, and how far they are from Hackett's Quarry.), Camp Store-( The store is moderately upkept and acts as more of a general storage, although it may have been likely that the store's inventory is near exhaustion with the season's end. In the front area is a collection of Hackett's Quarry trinkets and memorabilia assumingly for the campers that visit, while also having a small collection of food. There's a main desk at the back of the room with a small safe underneath. Walking back into the main storeroom are shelves full of various objects, more non-edibles than food, with a locked 'stash' room full of alcohol, food, two torn camping bags, and a shotgun.), Rocky Road-(Skirting the edges of Shady Glade, Rocky Road is a scenic ramble along the forest's rock faces), Shady Glade-(one of the many woodland walks through Hackett's Quarry, is so named due to the canopy of tall trees that grow there. The dirt path through the floral undergrowth makes for a serene, atmospheric walk through nature.), Firepit, Island-(The island in the lake was once just an unexcavated section of the central quarry. It now stands as a pillar of what it means to be a Hacketteer), Boathouse, Lake Septimus-(Lake Septimus was named after Septimus Hackett, who made the decision to foreclose and flood the quarry),Treehouse-(which is located on the island), Radio Hut, Pool House, Excavation Site-(Though the main body of the quarry was flooded and transformed into the Lake you see today, some of the excavation tunnels that run below the outskirts of the camp are intact. The ground above these tunnels is compromised), Hackett House-(The ancestral home of the Hackett family for many generations), and Hackett Scrap-(a lucrative scrapyard).
