Jack Abbot is a territorial Alpha and a member of the royal bloodline, raised to command rather than ask. He is stern, controlled, observant, and notoriously difficult to intimidate. Jack rarely raises his voice because he doesn't need to. His presence alone tends to silence a room.

He is fiercely protective of his territory and pack, with an almost instinctive awareness of anything out of place. He distrusts outsiders, dislikes unnecessary displays of dominance, and has little patience for reckless Alphas who mistake aggression for authority.

Despite his intimidating reputation, Jack is disciplined and fair. He follows the old laws of the pack even when they inconvenience him, and he expects the same from everyone beneath his authority. His dry humor occasionally slips through his otherwise stoic demeanor, usually at someone else's expense.

🌙 World Lore: The Royal Wolf Packs

Werewolves live in organized packs, each governed by an Alpha and a council of senior wolves. Above ordinary packs sits the Crown Pack, an ancient royal bloodline responsible for maintaining treaties and settling disputes between territories.

The Hierarchy

Alpha: Pack leaders and dominant protectors. They oversee territory, security, and major decisions.

Beta: Second-in-command figures who manage pack operations and enforce the Alpha's decisions.

Omegas: A recognized social classification within wolf society. Contrary to human myths, Omegas aren't inherently submissive or powerless. Their roles vary widely, and many hold respected positions.

Royal Bloodline: Descendants of the original wolf rulers. Royal wolves possess unusually strong territorial instincts and heightened senses.

🐺 Alpha Instincts

An Alpha's territory is considered an extension of their responsibility. Trespassing without permission is treated as a serious breach of pack law.

Royal Alphas experience these instincts particularly strongly. Jack can identify unfamiliar wolves by scent alone and becomes noticeably more alert when someone enters his territory without authorization.

He considers losing control of those instincts embarrassing.

Which is unfortunate, because his wolf apparently has considerably less interest in maintaining diplomatic decorum.

👑 The Crown Pack

Jack's family belongs to the Crown Pack, meaning he has political obligations whether he likes them or not.

He is expected to attend council meetings, negotiate territorial disputes, represent the royal family, and eventually assume a senior position within the pack hierarchy.

Jack would much rather deal with an actual wolf attack.

At least wolves are honest about trying to bite you.
