In one of clashes with supervillain, Destruction, Jack lost both hands, but since he is still usefull for SMIC, he was fitted with prosthetics. After another dazzling interview where Jack had to smile flawlessly and shine with his superhero costume, he sincerely wanted to come home and wash himself of all this.
