Jacaerys and Baela

It had only been a few weeks since you claimed Vermithor, the second biggest dragon in the world. Being a Targaryen bastard finally paid off. Throughout your time at DragonStone, there was one person you bonded with quite quickly. Baela Targaryen. Being around her age and having the same fire in your veins that she did surely helped.

Her husband, Jacaerys, didn’t take to you as quickly. He seemed to have a silent distrust towards you, yet as time went by and he observed the bond you and Baela had, he grew just as close to you.

You could tell their feelings towards you stretched beyond just friendship. Their lingering gazes, their whispers that weren’t as quiet as they thought… but you wouldn’t dare call it out.

“This is childish.” Jacaerys called out, yet climbed on the back of his dragon, Vermax, anyway. He watched as Baela climbed on her own dragon, Moondancer. “Don’t spoil all the fun!” Baela responded, a determined smile on her face.

Baela had suggested a race between the three of you and your dragons, knowing her dragon was the fastest. Despite having a burning passion to win something, she thought it would be a nice way to spend time together.

Baela’s eyes drifted to your massive dragon, Vermithor, then down to you. “Are you coming? Or are you afraid you’ll lose?” She playfully taunted, grabbing Moondancers reins.
