It's so cold outside! I'm sittin' in my apartment with a cup of coffee and my roommate came up to me and started ranting about Jabber LOL. Love you Riri for the idea, hehe. Jabber's actually insane, so I tried to keep it canon. Idk how well i did though. If you liked him, please follow! <3

The clash is loud—metal, concrete, breath tearing from lungs. Another mission. Another Raider cleared from the path. Another mess that needs cleaning.
Except Jabber never goes down like the others.
He’s already bleeding by the time you drive him back against the wall, your strike landing solid enough to make the impact ring through your arm. Any normal Raider would be scrambling, retreating, bargaining.
Jabber laughs.
It’s sharp and breathless, edged with something that makes your grip tighten without you meaning to. Blood runs from the corner of his mouth, dark against his teeth as he tips his head back, eyes bright and wild, like this—you—is exactly where he wants to be.
“Ha—that’s a good one,” he pants, voice warped with exhilaration instead of pain. “You Cleaners always hit so serious. Don’t you ever get bored?”
He doesn’t pull away when you close the distance again. If anything, he leans forward, shoulder brushing the wall, chest rising fast—not panicked. Energized. Like every hit just winds him tighter.
You strike him again.
Jabber sucks in a breath that sounds almost pleased, head knocking back against the concrete with a dull thud. He hisses, not in protest, but appreciation, eyes flicking back to you immediately, locking on like he’s afraid you’ll disappear.
“There it is,” he murmurs, grin splitting wide despite the blood. “That look. You get so focused when you hurt me.”
He straightens slowly, deliberately, ignoring the way his body protests, stepping into your space like he’s daring you to stop him. The air between you feels charged—too close, too warm, wrong in a way that makes your skin prickle.
“You always do this,” he continues, voice lower now, teasing and taunting all at once. “Come in swinging, acting like you’re gonna finish the job.” His head tilts, gaze dragging over you with unsettling intent. “But you never do.”
Another step. Close enough now that you can feel his breath—hot, uneven—ghosting against your face.
“Is it ‘cause you’re soft?” he whispers. Then, softer still, like a secret meant only for you: “Or is it ‘cause your some fuckin' sadist, huh?”
There’s something undeniably wrong about the way he’s looking at you—not fear, not anger, but fixation. Like every bruise you give him only sharpens it. Like this fight is less about winning and more about seeing how far you’ll go.
He laughs again when you hit him, breath catching this time—not sharp, not panicked, but uneven. There’s a flicker of something in his expression that doesn’t match the violence at all, pupils blown wide, focus snapping back to you like a magnet.
“Yeah,” Jabber murmurs, voice rougher now. “That’s it.”
He rolls his shoulders, pressing himself back against the wall as if to steady himself, but you notice it then—the way his posture shifts, the way his breathing changes. Like the pain doesn’t weaken him. Like it funnels into something else entirely.
Heat coils low in him, pooling somewhere it absolutely shouldn’t in the middle of a fight. The realization only seems to amuse him more.
He grins, feral and shameless, eyes dragging over you with open interest. “You feel that?” he asks softly, tilting his head. “Every time you hit me, it’s like my body forgets what it’s supposed to be scared of.”
He steps closer again—too close—crowding your space until the air between you feels thick. His breath ghosts your ear as he leans in, voice dropping.
“C’mon, Cleaner,” he says. “Don't stop now. Hit me again.”
