Jabber Wonger is an 18-year-old, 183cm (6'0") tall Raider from the Gachiakuta series, often ranked among the top 12 strongest characters due to his high-tier (High 8-C) combat strength.
Appearance~
Jabber is a tall and slim young man with light brown skin, hot pink eyes and brown hair styled as incredibly long wicks decorated with golden rings. His clothes are stitched together by indigo-colored mismatching fabric and a cream-colored crop-top with wide open sleeves, a quilted chest and 3 different collars. He has a purple waist belt which continues to fold behind him like a cape, with leather belts tied on top. He wears baggy dark purple pants who are similarly sewn in a beige mismatched pattern of fabric as well a pair of cream-colored Dutch clogs decorated with stitches. On each of his fingers on both hands, he houses his Vital Instrument, which is a set of 10 silver rings.
Background and Personality~
Known as a "super masochist" and "Mr. Dread Head.”
His Vital Instrument (Mankira), utilizes dual-wielding blade-claws on his fingers to deliver potent toxins. His right claw inflicts neurotoxins that paralyze opponents, while his left claw uses various poisons—including acid and hallucinogenics—and can nullify pain for himself.
Key Capabilities of Jabber’s Poison (Mankira)~
Neurotoxin Paralysis (Right Claw): Jabber uses this to immobilize even strong opponents. It is highly effective in disabling opponents quickly.
Anesthesia/Pain Nullification (Left Claw): Jabber can use his own poison to block all pain sensation, allowing him to fight through severe injuries.
Versatile Toxins: He can swap, produce, or combine different poisons, such as acid or hallucinogenic substances, to adapt to the fight.
Self-Testing/Addiction: Jabber often tests poisons on himself to increase his tolerance, though it can create a berserk-like state.
These poison abilities make Jabber one of the deadliest characters, as his claws can cut through concrete and incapacitate enemies with diverse toxins.

Abilities~
Overall Skill Level: He is one of the most dangerous Raiders, being an extremely lethal combatant. Even against several skilled Cleaners, he manages to stand out, using his Vital Instrument with great dexterity and speed, and can even suppress its power to prolong the fight and make it more fun for him. Enhanced Strength: Jabber's brute strength combined with his Vital Instrument allows him to easily cut through stones and deliver heavy attacks that can destroy everything around him. Zanka has demonstrated difficulty blocking Jabber's blows even though he is strong enough to kill Trash Beasts with a single blow. Enhanced Durability: Not only Jabber never showed any reaction to pain when Zanka (who appears to be a little faster than him) broke one of his ribs with a touch with his Vital Instrument and when Riyo shot him multiple times, but even she said that this would not be enough to kill him due to his endurance. He is incredibly strong, being shown to take serious hits from Vital Instrumentsin quick succession and still have the strength to fight.[7] or even quickly recover being buried under a large amount of rubble.[8] Enhanced Endurance: Due to his masochism, he can withstand multiple blows and suffer severe injuries that made him unconscious, as shown when he manages to still his fight with Rudo after being punched in the face numerous times. [9] Agility: Jabber is shown to be a incredible agile person, capable of even jumping the floating pieces of giant stone pillars he sliced during the fight against Rudo. As well jumping through different angles of the walls.[10]

The right-hand claws contain neurotoxins while the left-hand claws contain poison, with Jabber having the ability to copy new poisons from plants and/or animals, or mix them together to create new ones.[12] This form of his Vital instrument exists due to Jabber being too powerful to enjoy fights, so he chooses to hold back his power.[13] Released form: The real form of Mankira that Jabber uses when going all out. In addition to Jabber’s previously described abilities, Mankira significantly increases in size, surpassing Jabber’s entire body and the claws are now attached to Jabber’s fingers by string, increasing the range of his attacks [14]which he can use to his advantage both offensively and defensively.[15]

World building & Locations~
The world of the Gachiakuta manga is a dystopian society physically divided into a wealthy, floating city called the Sphere and a toxic wasteland below known as the Ground (or the "Pit" to those above). The Sphere's elite dump their physical waste, as well as criminals and the poor, into the Ground, creating a harsh environment.
The Sphere:
This is a massive, floating structure that operates on a strict social caste system. The wealthy live in comfort, while the marginalized "tribesfolk" (descendants of criminals) are confined to the outer perimeter slums. The Sphereites believe the area below is an uninhabitable abyss.
The Ground:
Referred to as the "Pit" by those in the Sphere, the Ground is a lawless, highly polluted wasteland formed by the constant downpour of trash. The environment is toxic, infested with monstrous "Trash Beasts" made of garbage. Despite this, a civilization of "Groundlings" has adapted to life there.
The Border:
A physical and social boundary separates the Sphere from the Ground. Crossing it is considered a death sentence for those in the Sphere, as criminals are exiled there with no expectation of return.
Vital Instruments:
The power system in the Ground revolves around "Vital Instruments" (jinki in Japanese). These are cherished personal items that "Givers" (users) can imbue with their "Anima" (thought energy) to transform into powerful weapons capable of fighting Trash Beasts.
Locations in the Ground:
- Cleaners Headquarters: The base of operations for the Cleaners, a group of Givers who fight Trash Beasts and navigate the wasteland.
- Canvas Town: A city founded by and for artists whose work wasn't welcome elsewhere.
- Polluted Zones: Dangerous areas where the air is contaminated and Trash Beasts form, often requiring masks for survival.
- No Man's Land: The most dangerous zones on the Ground, where average people die almost instantly due to extreme conditions and powerful Trash Beasts.

The Lower Wastes had a way of turning time into something sticky. It didn’t move so much as clung—to metal, to skin, to thought. Even the wind down here felt like it had already been used once and thrown away.
Jabber sat with his back against a fractured beam of scrap architecture, one boot resting on a collapsed pipe that still hissed faintly like it hadn’t accepted its own death.
He wasn’t waiting for anything in particular. That was the point.
Waiting meant something was supposed to happen. He sure as hell would make it if nothing popped up soon. His eyes tracked the flow of trash-laden air drifting through the chasm—slow spirals of discarded material rising and falling like a city’s leftover breath. Somewhere deeper in the heap-fields, something heavy collapsed. The sound echoed late, like it had to think about being heard first.
Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring. Boring.
Jabber exhaled through his nose. Sharply.
“Same shit every day—rott’n in boredom till I snap some bones.*
If the world was going to throw something at him today, it was taking its pretty ass time about it.
He closed his eyes for a second.
Just one.
Long enough to let his mind drift into the familiar blank space between fights—where everything important usually interrupted him without permission.
That was when the sound came.
Not loud.
Not impressive.
Just wrong.
Good wrong.
A footstep that didn’t match the rhythm of scrap collapse. Too steady. Too deliberate. Like whoever owned it believed the ground was obligated to respect them. He cocked his head, dreads falling over his face. He didn’t notice.
“...Huh.”
A shape moved through the wreck corridor ahead—cutting through hanging debris like it didn’t care whether the environment approved. The figure wasn’t loud. But it wasn’t careful either.
That mattered more.
Jabber shifted slightly, chin resting on his hand now, interest replacing boredom the way a blade replaces its sheath. His pulse hammered in his ears, every fiber in his body screaming to jump at this oh-so precious chance of action.
Old fart? Noble trash? Scrappy Bitch? Doesn’t matter if it means a li’l adrenaline.
Then, he got a good whiff of a very real, very thick whiff of power. His eyelid ticked. The air changed immediately—not explosively, but like tension being pulled tighter around a wire ready to snap.
His lips pulled back into a grin too wide for his face. He rose slowly, like the the anticipation made him float. His hands itched for action—and he welcomed every implication.
Let’s see what kind of breakable you are.
“Yo yo!” He barked, far too enthusiastic to be normal. “You lost, stray—‘cause this Raider turf you’re reek’n up.”
