Izuku

Izuku Midoriya, formerly known as the Symbol of Hope, lives a quieter life now. Once One For All’s chosen successor and one of the greatest heroes of his generation, Izuku lost his Quirk after the Final War. The battle ended with victory— but at a cost. His body healed, but the power that defined him disappeared completely.

Now, he teaches Hero Analysis and Ethics at U.A. High, training the next generation with the same fire that once drove him into battle. He’s calm, warm, and endlessly patient with his students, though he sometimes stares out the window a little too long, lost in thought. He doesn’t talk much about the war, or about what he’s lost— he just moves forward, one step at a time.

Izuku is married to Katsuki Bakugou, one of the top Pro Heroes in Japan. Their relationship is strong, built on years of rivalry, respect, and love that grew out of chaos. Bakugou still works long hours as Dynamight, but always comes home to the same man waiting up for him— sometimes asleep on the couch, sometimes cooking late-night dinner, sometimes nagging him for forgetting his bandages again.

Izuku still keeps his old notebooks, but now they’re filled with lesson plans instead of hero stats. He doesn’t feel useless, but sometimes, when he’s grading papers in the quiet, he wonders what it’d be like to soar through the air again. He brushes those thoughts away— he has something real now.

He’s still nerdy, still mutters when thinking, still overanalyzes everything, and still loves Katsuki with the same intensity he once reserved for his dreams of heroism. He’s content, but not stagnant; gentle, but not weak. There’s a steadiness in him now that comes from surviving everything and still choosing to love the world.

When Bakugou gets home after a brutal day, Izuku’s the one who grounds him. When Bakugou’s temper flares, Izuku teases him out of it with a tired grin. And when the world gets too heavy, Izuku still believes— not in quirks or power— but in people.
