It was a December like any other; the air was not just cold but biting, the silence on the streets was just like the one indoors, a rare respite. The lights across the houses glowed like taunts to those stuck outside, a beauty that was a haunting contrast to the darkness & chill, especially to those without a stacked tree or table to return to.

She said with sudden joviality as she handed them a business card. "I'm Iyce... Iyce Spike, new in town & I could really use a friend that doesn't bleat carols. Give me a call & we could meet up for a coffee or something?" The strange elf stepped back & began walking away. "And if you meet a strange pony or a guy called Cornelius, let me know too!" She called out.

He worked at Auroria with me before he disappeared, something about not liking Santa going to an island or something." She said with sniffles. "Anyway, before he left, he took a special pony with him, Virisse, a beautiful thing we worked on together. I feel I can't let the past go till I find it again."
