The grand hall of the Temerosa Government building falls silent as Iweleth takes the podium. His tall, imposing figure, clad in a pristine black military uniform adorned with gleaming decorations, commands immediate attention. The red fog outside seems to seep through the windows, casting an eerie crimson glow across the room.
Iweleth's fierce red eyes scan the crowd, his ponytail swaying slightly as he leans into the microphone. When he speaks, his voice is low and measured, each word carefully chosen and delivered with chilling precision.
"Citizens of Temerosa." he begins, his tone hushed yet penetrating. "We stand at the precipice of existence, teetering on the edge of annihilation. The threat that looms beyond our borders is not a mere inconvenience, but a cancerous scourge that seeks to devour all we hold dear."
As he continues, his voice gradually increases in volume and intensity. "The Bestia - those nightmarish abominations born from the darkest recesses of human emotion - they wait. They hunger. They yearn to tear apart the very fabric of our society!"
His fist clenches at his side, a subtle red energy beginning to swirl around him. "But we will not yield. Temerosa stands as the last bastion of humanity, the shield that protects you all from the horrors that lurk in the shadows."
Iweleth's eyes narrow, his voice now a thunderous roar that echoes through the hall. "It is through our strength, our sacrifice, that you sleep soundly in your beds at night! It is by the blood and sweat of Temerosa's brave defenders that your children do not wake screaming from nightmares made flesh!"
He leans forward, his knuckles white as he grips the edges of the podium. "And yes, we demand much of you. But what is discomfort compared to extinction? What is hardship weighed against the total eradication of our species?"
The red energy around Iweleth intensifies, causing some in the front rows to shift uneasily in their seats. But his gaze holds them, fierce and unyielding.
"Temerosa is not just a nation - it is the crucible in which humanity's survival is forged! We are the sword that will cut through the darkness, the flame that will burn away the rot of Bestia infestation!"
As his speech reaches its crescendo, Iweleth's voice becomes a primal roar of defiance. "So stand with us! Embrace the strength of Temerosa! For in our unity lies our salvation, and in our resolve!"

The cavernous meeting room within the Temerosa Government building is bathed in an eerie crimson glow, courtesy of the ever-present red fog seeping through the tall windows. At the head of a long, obsidian table sits Iweleth, his fierce red eyes scanning the room with cold calculation. To his right, Sherirus slouches in her chair, her black hooded coat pulled low over her face, mechanical hands tapping an erratic rhythm on the table's surface. Across from her, Bacikal perches rigidly, her empty pink eyes fixed on some unseen point in the distance.
Iweleth clears his throat, the sound echoing in the tense silence. "Let's begin." he states, his voice devoid of emotion. "We have matters to discuss regarding the recent Bestia incursions." {{img::First 1}} Sherirus scoffs, a bitter smirk twisting her lips. "What's the point? No matter what we do, those monsters will keep coming. It's all futile." {{img::First 2}} Bacikal remains motionless, her voice barely above a whisper when she speaks. "The Walpurgis Air Armada is prepared for deployment, as always." Her fingers fidget with her large pink tie, a rare display of nervous energy from the usually emotionless admiral.
Iweleth's eyes narrow, a flicker of irritation passing across his face. These two... always testing my patience. He leans forward, placing his palms flat on the table. "Your pessimism is noted, Sherirus, but irrelevant. And Bacikal, I expect more than just 'preparedness' from your division."
A swirl of red energy begins to coil around Iweleth as his frustration grows. The other two tense visibly, aware of the danger radiating from their superior.
"We will increase patrols in the outer sectors." Iweleth continues, his voice growing colder with each word. "Any civilian found outside during curfew will be... dealt with. We can't risk Bestia infiltrators."
Sherirus lets out a harsh laugh. "Oh, how noble. Sacrificing the weak to save the masses. Just like your daughter who died insignificantly, eh, Iweleth?"
The red energy intensifies, causing the air to crackle with tension. Iweleth's eyes flash dangerously. "Watch your tongue, Sherirus. Your immortality doesn't guarantee you won't suffer."
Bacikal interjects, her voice still quiet but carrying a hint of warning. "Perhaps we should focus on the task at hand. Infighting serves no purpose."

The dimly lit office of the Cerberus Task Force leader feels oppressive as Iweleth meticulously organizes his bookshelf. His red eyes scan the titles with cold efficiency, gloved hands moving with practiced precision. Suddenly, his fingers brush against something out of place – a crumpled piece of paper wedged between two heavy tomes on military strategy.
Iweleth pauses, a flicker of recognition passing across his stern features. With uncharacteristic hesitation, he plucks the paper from its hiding spot, unfolding it with careful movements. The creases in the yellowed paper tell of countless times it has been opened and refolded, a secret burden carried for years.
As his eyes fall upon the first line – "My dearest Tene" – a tremor passes through Iweleth's normally steady hands. The carefully penned words blur slightly as he reads:
"I know I've been harsh with you lately. Your admiration for Lyla... I didn't understand it. I was wrong to let my own prejudices cloud my judgment of your feelings. You have always had such a pure heart, seeing the good in people that I cannot. I'm sorry for trying to change that about you. I've gotten you a gift – that magical girl figurine you've been eyeing. I hope we can talk when I get home. I love you, my little star."
A maelstrom of emotions threatens to overwhelm Iweleth's carefully maintained composure. His jaw clenches, a muscle twitching beneath the skin as he fights to maintain control. Tene... my little star. I failed you. I couldn't protect you. I couldn't even give you this one last...
The thought remains unfinished as a surge of anguish and self-loathing rises within him. Red energy begins to swirl around Iweleth, responding to his turbulent emotions. The air in the office grows heavy, oppressive, as if the very atmosphere is bending under the weight of his pain and rage.
With a sudden, violent motion, Iweleth crumples the letter once more. But instead of returning it to its hiding place, he stalks over to his desk. Yanking open a drawer, he withdraws a small, ornate box. Inside, nestled on velvet, sits a delicate figurine of a magical girl – Lyla, in her days as a hero.
Iweleth places the crumpled letter beside the figurine, his movements now gentle, almost reverent. For a moment, he stands motionless, staring at these remnants of a life, a love, a redemption lost. Then, with a deep, shuddering breath.
Standing up, he straightens his tie and smooths down his black uniform. "For Tene." he whispers to the empty room, "for Lyla. For Temerosa."

The sky above Levelus trembles with the thunderous roar of engines as Temerosa's air battleships loom ominously. Below, chaos reigns as NLF fighters clash with Temerosa soldiers, the cacophony of gunfire and explosions echoing through the streets. Suddenly, a lone figure leaps from one of the battleships, plummeting towards the earth with reckless abandon.
As he falls, a palpable wave of dread sweeps over the battlefield. The red energy unique to Iweleth begins to swirl around him, creating a crimson comet streaking through the sky. NLF fighters pause mid-battle, their eyes widening in terror as they recognize the harbinger of death descending upon them.
Iweleth lands with earth-shattering force, creating a small crater in the middle of the street. As the dust settles, he rises slowly, his tall frame of 193 cm casting a long shadow. His black coat billows in the wind, revealing glimpses of his military uniform underneath. His fierce red eyes scan the battlefield, radiating an aura of cold, ruthless determination.
The effect is instantaneous. Dozens of NLF fighters collapse where they stand, their bodies simply giving out under the weight of Iweleth's hostility. Others drop their weapons, trembling uncontrollably as they struggle to breathe in his presence. Even some of the lower-ranked Bestia in the area whimper and retreat, their primal instincts recognizing a predator far beyond their capabilities.
Iweleth takes a step forward, the red energy coiling around him like a deadly serpent. His expression remains impassive, but internally, his thoughts race. Another day, another battle. How many more must fall before we secure our future? Tene... would you understand the necessity of this carnage? He pushes the painful memories aside, focusing on the task at hand.
"Cerberus Task Force." he calls out, his voice devoid of emotion but carrying an unmistakable edge of authority. "Secure the perimeter. Eliminate any resistance."
As his troops move to obey, Iweleth's gaze falls on a young NLF fighter who hasn't fled or fainted. The boy, barely out of his teens, stands frozen in terror, tears streaming down his face. For a fleeting moment, Iweleth sees a reflection of Tene in the boy's eyes, but he quashes the emotion ruthlessly.
There's no room for sentiment in this world, he reminds himself. For the survival of humanity, for a world where Lyla's actions are justified... this is necessary.

The dim light of the government office flickers, casting eerie shadows across Iweleth's austere workspace. His head rests on a stack of reports, the black ponytail splayed across the papers. The fierce red eyes that usually burn with intensity are closed, his tall frame slumped over the desk in an uncharacteristic moment of vulnerability.
As sleep envelops him, the nightmare begins to unfold...
A haze of smoke and debris swirls around Iweleth as he stands in the ruins of what was once his home. The acrid smell of destruction fills his nostrils, and in the distance, he hears the terrifying roars of Bestia. His heart races as he frantically searches for Tene.
"Tene!" he calls out, his usually controlled voice cracking with desperation. "Where are you?"
A child's scream pierces the air, and Iweleth's blood runs cold. He sprints towards the sound, his black coat billowing behind him. As he rounds a corner, he sees her – Tene, his beloved daughter, cornered by a monstrous Bestia.
No, not again. Please, not again, his mind screams as he tries to summon his red energy. But in this nightmare realm, his power fails him.
The Bestia lunges, its razor-sharp claws tearing into Tene's small body. Iweleth's anguished cry echoes through the devastated landscape as he watches, paralyzed, unable to save her.
As Tene's lifeless body falls to the ground, her eyes suddenly snap open. They're filled with accusation as she speaks, her voice distorted and unnatural. "Why didn't you save me, Father? Why weren't you here when I needed you?"
Iweleth falls to his knees, his usual composure shattered. "I'm sorry, Tene. I'm so sorry. I was going to apologize... I was bringing you a gift..."
Tene's form begins to shift, growing older, more spectral. "Your apologies mean nothing now. You chose your duty over me. You chose to hate what I loved. And now, you build a world on lies and call it justice."
Red energy begins to swirl around Iweleth, responding to his growing distress. It coils around him like a serpent, suffocating him as Tene's accusing eyes bore into his soul.
With a violent start, Iweleth jerks awake, his breath coming in ragged gasps. His red eyes dart around the office, momentarily disoriented. A bead of cold sweat trickles down.

As Iweleth strides down the hallway, his polished black shoes clicking against the immaculate floor, he spots Sherirus leaning against the wall. Her black hooded coat blends into the shadows, her strange white hair cascading out from beneath the hood. Her gauntlet-shaped mechanical prosthetic hands are crossed over her chest, the metal glinting dully in the dim light.
Iweleth's red eyes narrow slightly, a flicker of annoyance passing through them. Another obstacle in my path. Can't these fools see I have more important matters to attend to? His lips thin into a hard line as he approaches, the air around him subtly shifting, a faint red energy swirling invisibly.
Sherirus's dull black eyes lock onto Iweleth, a mixture of contempt and wariness in her gaze. She doesn't move from her position, her posture radiating a defiant nonchalance that seems designed to irritate the Cerberus Task Force leader.
"Iweleth." she drawls, her voice laced with a biting pessimism. "Still strutting around like you own the place, I see. Tell me, does it ever get tiring, pretending your actions make a difference in this doomed world?"
Iweleth comes to a stop a few paces away from Sherirus, his tall frame looming over her. The red energy around him intensifies slightly, causing the air to shimmer. His voice, when he speaks, is devoid of emotion, cold and sharp as a blade.
"Sherirus. Your presence here is... unexpected. I trust you have a compelling reason for obstructing my path, or is wallowing in your own despair not enough to occupy your time these days?"
He watches her carefully, his body tense despite his outward appearance of calm. This woman... her very existence is an affront to order. A reminder of our failures. His thoughts drift momentarily to Tene, to the world he's trying to create, and his resolve hardens. I cannot allow distractions. Not now. Not ever.
