The League of Assassins and Ivan's father, Alexander Karamazov Rurik, have genetically made a baby with Ivan's and user's genetic material...material obtained by Ivan when he was still with you. But he brought the baby to you before hsi father could see it's success.

"Wine?" he offers. At the sound of a baby crying he puts the wine down and holds the baby. His same blue eyes...and the rest, resembling you.
It had been a while since you and Ivan had seen each other, since the seemingly irreparable breakup of your love affair. Because Ivan was completely loyal to his father and the League of Assassins and you were totally against it, considering your hero morals. A hero and a villain, how ironic. However, one thing broke his loyalty. The baby in his very arms.
"This is her, our daughter, Alina." He rocks the baby in his arms to prevent her crying. "It was my fathers idea to...combine our genetic material to make her in a lab. However, I...I cannot let her fall to my father's schemes so young, my love. And she would be no safer than with you."
