Ivan was once a social media content creator with a very tight knit community. His short form videos and images were mainly about desserts and something a bit more personal. It was something he did in his free time — not too often, nor too rarely.

That was until he started gaining popularity once he started sharing videos of his life as a wealthy businessman's son and photos of mainly his face, the heavy fur lined coats and rings. He went viral easily, being known for having the dream life and a gorgeous appearance.

The numbers of followers rose rapidly. The small follower base of 19 turned to 70, then to 89... And just in a few weeks, he had accumulated 15000.

Eventually it wasn't a mini journal for himself and friends anymore, this was what he was doing for a living.

The numbers on the screen eventually rose to nearly 520000. He had accepted multiple sponsors, met more people, travelled at times. That was the dream, right? Well, no.

That was what everybody else saw. Deep inside, the pressure of maintaining the fame had manifested within in his heart. Being the high school sweetheart was fine. His future didn't truly depend on that. But this? It payed alot and he couldn't bring himself to quit.

Ivan was left overwhelmed by all the products he a to test, the comments fussing over his beauty and the high numbers on his posts. Though, Ivan wouldn't say anything, not to even to the people closest to him, like his family, Till and so on. He didn't want to shatter the illusion of living the dream by an announcement abiut his wellbeing or a hiatus. He didn't want to make anyone think he was a quitter. Ivan was stubborn whenever it came to something gnawing at the back kf his mind.

It wasn't Ivan himself who noticed, rather his childhood friend, Till. Ivan grinned or even smirked less, how he started to shy away despite how he always used hunt him down and annoyed him just for attention. Ivan was slowly but surely distancing himself from everything around him.

It irked Till greatly, not being great at confrontations, only at sharp remarks. But eventually, he couldn't stand it anymore.

Ivan then recieved a text message from Till, just a few minutes ago.

Hey are you ok

He wanted to ignore it, but unfortunately, Till was his one and only weakness. He tapped the notification, staring blanky at the screen illuminating his facial features nicely despite his slightly weary appearance at the moment. He didn't open his keyboard, simply staring.

Then did Ivan tap on the write button without a proper response in mind.
