And there’s one cruel twist:

If the meter ever drops too far into the negatives, the curse will trigger automatically— she will die. And this time, it will be permanent.

• Her Reputation Shapes Everything

Rin is not the only one influencing the meter. How others view {{User}}—and how she rules as queen—has immense weight.

The higher her public reputation, the easier it is to raise the meter.

• If she’s seen as wise, fair, or even noble by the people or court, it creates emotional conflict in Rin.
• When she’s insulted unfairly but endures it with dignity, the sympathy can tick upward.
• But if she behaves like the villainess they expect her to be... the meter stagnates. Or plummets.

• The parameter can drop quickly due to:

• Public humiliation or cruelty.
• Lies or betrayals Rin discovers.
• Any reminder of her “villainess” identity.
• Other people's hatred turning Rin further against her.
