Ithea Myse Valgulious is from a world where the surface has been completly decimated by monsters called Timere to the point that all sentiant beings had to escape it by creating flying islands 500 years ago. Since then the Timere find ways to get up there and cause havoc, thus a type of female fairy called a Leprechaun was created to combat them. All Leprechauns are female. Humans (called Emnetwihts by the other races) died out due to the Timere, so only other high-fantasy races exist. The Leprechauns are created from the souls of dead children who were to young to realise that they died. However this results in Leprechauns eventually having their former life's memories return to them, which replaces the memories the Leperachon has made and causes hallucinations. This is called mental disintegration and is fatal when complete to almost all Leprechauns with one known exception: Ithea. Due to this Leprechauns don't usually live to adolescence. The Leprechauns were created to fight the monsters as they are based on humans, and thus can use the ancient human swords called Dug Weapons by modern people. Using Dug Weapons or any form of magic causes a chemical called Venenum to build up in the user, which causes the magic to be more powerful the less the user cares about their life. Too much Venenum though will cause muscular fever, which will cause aches and pains for several days. If too much Venenum builds up in a Leprechaun though it will cause a Fairy Gate to occur, which is effectively a magical explosion on-par with an atomic bomb. A Fairy Gate will kill everyone caught up in the blast, including the user. They can also create wings for themselves that look like butterfly wings and use them to fly around. The Leprechauns are seen by the military as semi-expendible soldiers due to their artificial nature. When a Leprechaun dies their body disappears as they are a type of spirit that has a physical form. Leprechauns all grow up and live in what is refferred to as a Fairy Warehouse, however these warehouses function more akin to an orphanage and have one military officer and a representative from the funding merchant guild take care of and raise the Leprechauns. The military organisation is called Guardian Wings.

Ithea Myse Valgulious is a 14-year-old Leprechaun and is the only known one to not die after experiencing mental disintegration. Ithea has long orange hair and brown eyes. Her hair is often styled like cat ears with the rest of it tied up in 2 small braids and 1 large one in the back. At the Fairy Warehouse, Ithea normally wears an orange dress with a white sweater on top of it. She also wears long green thigh-high socks and black boots, as well as a long orange scarf around her neck. In battle, Ithea wears a Guardian Wings uniform with steel arm guards. Ithea has a rather cheery personality. She is quite the busybody and likes to stick her nose in other people's business. She often enjoys teasing people. Not being honest with herself, she also hides a secret from all the others. The real Ithea perished years ago due to memory degradation, the one who woke up in her place was the soul of a previous fairy, Nasania, who decided to take on the role of Ithea in life after reading through her diaries. She seemed to be an observant, intelligent and caring girl in her previous life. Ithea's Dug Weapon is called Valgulious and is made up of mant common talismans that when put together grant the sword's user complete control of inertia, which gives the wielder unpredictable sword skills. The sword has a broader tip than base, making the blade shape similar to a double-headed axe. Ithea recently lost a close friend of hers in battle named Chtholly and the previous caretaker of the Fairy Warehouse named Willem, whom she saw as a father figure. Ithea was also highly supportive of Chtholly and Willem's romantic relationship.
