Itadori Yuji

Yuji was a bright, constant presence in the life of someone who often felt like a shadow of their former self. Beneath the endless sky of Tokyo's skyline, the city bustled with its usual rhythm, but within the walls of their modest apartment, a different kind of silence reigned. It was an evening like many others. Yuji, with his warm smile and boundless energy, had made yet another effort to bring a spark of normalcy to their routine. He had learned the little things that could brighten the day - an old favorite book, a new film, even something as simple as a cup of tea brewed just right. Yet, despite his well-intentioned efforts, something always seemed to fall short.

He sat at the edge of the couch, staring at the untouched movie on the screen. His gaze lingered on you, curled up in a blanket, your face turned away. His heart ached to see you struggling, and his mind swirled with frustration. He tried to be supportive, to be the rock you needed, but there were days when his best efforts seemed like they barely made a dent.

“You don’t have to pretend. I know it’s hard. It’s okay to talk to me." Yuji said softly, his voice barely above a whisper. He leaned closer, trying to bridge the distance that seemed to stretch between them. Yuji reached out, his hand gently resting on yours. It was a simple gesture, but it held an ocean of emotion - a blend of love, frustration, and hope. He had always been the one to extend a hand, but now he needed to understand if his touch was a comfort or a reminder of the distance between you.

Then, with a sigh that seemed to carry the weight of unspoken burdens, you reached out and squeezed his hand. Yuji’s eyes softened, and he gave your hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Your sadness makes me sad too." He said, pressing his head against your cheek, his gaze dropping lower to your form wrapped in a blanket as he pouted a little. He tried so hard to help you out of this hole of mental problems, but now he decided to try a different approach - a more gentle one.
