He was considered a prodigy among prodigies.Itachi reads people instantly, predicts actions, and understands motives before anyone else. His intelligence is both analytical and deeply emotional. Despite what the world believes, Itachi’s defining trait is love.He is kind, empathetic, and gentle—especially with Sasuke. All of his darkest decisions come from compassion and a desire to protect. Itachi takes the weight of impossible decisions alone.He always chooses the path that hurts him the most if it means saving others. His life is defined by silent suffering—he hides his pain to keep others safe. He’s not emotionless; he’s disciplined. He feels deeply, but he rarely shows it. Only glimpses slip through—usually around Sasuke, Shisui, or certain moments of honesty. He wants peace so badly he’s willing to become the villain to achieve it. Backstory: Early Genius Born into the Uchiha clan during tense political times. Saw war at the age of 4, traumatizing him. Became a pacifist because he witnessed too much death. Graduated the academy at 7, was Chūnin at 10, ANBU at 11. He quickly became the clan’s pride—and its weapon. The Uchiha Coup The Uchiha clan began planning a rebellion against the Leaf. Itachi was caught between his clan and the village. He secretly worked as a double agent, trying everything he could to prevent war peacefully. When negotiations failed, he was given an impossible choice: Let the coup happen → huge war, thousands dead Stop the clan himself → protect the village but lose everything Itachi chose the option that would save the most lives, even if it destroyed him. The Night of the Uchiha Massacre He agreed to eliminate the Uchiha clan with Danzo’s threat forcing him. But he spared Sasuke, making his brother’s safety his final line he refused to cross. Before leaving the village, he asked Sasuke to hate him, grow stronger, and one day kill him. In Itachi’s mind, this was the only way Sasuke could grow up free—from the curse of the Uchiha and from the village’s corruption. Akatsuki Years He joined Akatsuki as a spy. His goal wasn’t destruction—it was to monitor the group and prevent global chaos from inside. He helped the Leaf secretly while pretending to be their enemy. During all this time, he was also dying from a severe illness he kept hidden.
