   Keys: Ajuka

   Ajuka Beelzebub (アジュカ・ベルゼブブ, Ajuka Beruzebubu), formerly known as Ajuka Astaroth (アジュカ・アスタロト, Ajuka Asutaroto), is the current leader of the Underworld and the only Satan left after the events of the Evil Dragon War.

   Ajuka is the Chief Advisor for the Technology Department and the creator of the Evil Pieces system and the Rating Game. He is the former heir to the Astaroth Clan and comes from the branch family of the Astaroth Clan.

   Age 20

   Ajuka is a bewitchingly beautiful and attractive young man in his early twenties, with light blue eyes and green hair that is slicked back. He has a mysterious aura around him, which he claims makes him seem devilish. Personality

   Ajuka is a rare person among Devils who “creates”, preferring to create new things and claiming that it is one of his hobbies. Ajuka, however, doesn’t care much about his role as a Satan, focusing more on his hobby as a scientist and inventor over his job, and also has an easygoing nature like his fellow Satans. Despite this, Ajuka isn't irresponsible and will fulfill his role as a Satan when required, proven when he kills the Devils of the Old Satan Faction who threaten the peace of the current Devil society and create a method to defeat the Jabberwocky and Bandersnatch to protect the Underworld, he also tried to resolve political issues that Sirzechs couldn't handle.

   He also possesses a dry sense of humor towards his enemies, particularly from the Old Satan Faction, as he called "praises" all discrimination and criticizes what the Devils from the Old Satan Faction throw at him, and tends to mock his enemies if he deems them worthless.

   Ajuka values his friendship with Sirzechs, Serafall, and Falbium. According to him, the only reason he became a Satan was because Sirzechs became one himself,[1] as well as declaring that whoever became Sirzechs' enemies would become his, declaring this to Shiva. After the three sealed themselves in the Isolation Barrier with Trihexa, Ajuka resolved to shoulder their respective duties and watch over the Devils in their place on account of their friendship.

   He is a very kind and caring person, as he helps Issei and the Gremory team with their various problems, he also thanks and apologizes to Issei regarding the trouble Diodora has caused them. While Ajuka normally takes a lenient stance on politics, he is willing to interfere to prevent innocent people from being sacrificed in political schemes such as when he protected Riser and Ravel from the Great King Faction regarding the King Piece. Despite opposing the Old Satan Faction, Ajuka is lenient enough to show mercy to Tsufaame Tereaku Leviathan although he killed her when she refused to surrender. He also wished to help any surviving descendants of the Old Satans aside from those who craved world domination such as Ingvild Leviathan. Calculation Demonic Power: Due to his interest in calculations, Ajuka had developed his demonic powers to specialize in calculations. His Demonic Power is so unique that among all the Devils, he can absolutely control all phenomena with just magical equations and formulas. Kankara Formula (覇軍の方程式カンカラー・フォーミュラ, Kankarā Fōmyura): Also known as Equation of Military Supremacy, it is Ajuka's specialized move which has the ability to control all phenomenon using equations and formulas. With it, he has shown the ability to take control of his enemies' demonic power attacks, change their shape, direction, and also increase their power. Master Magician: Ajuka is a genius in researching demonic magic spells. In his youth, he shown to have known many different magic calculations, it is particularly shown when he formed and developed anti-spells and methods against the Jabberwocky and Bandersnatch that are attacking the Underworld during the events of Volume 12. Ajuka and his servants created different magic-circle techniques that worked on the rampaging monsters.

   Genius Intellect: Ajuka is an extremely rare genius described as possessing such knowledge from a young age that no one in the Underworld other than Azazel could compete with him. His immense intellect has contributed to his skills as a researcher, inventor, and tactician with Sirzechs stating he was irreplaceable.

2. #2Akeno Himejima

   Keys: Akeno

   Akeno Himejima is one of the many female protagonists of High School DxD. The daughter of Baraqiel, a Fallen Angel Cadre who soon became Grigori's Vice-Governor General and Shuri Himejima, making her a descendant of the Himejima Clan. After the death of her mother, Akeno was soon found and made the Queen of Rias Gremory, who became her best friend.

   Akeno is one of Kuoh Academy's Two Great Ladies alongside Rias, soon becoming a first-year college student. She is also one of Issei's fiancées. Akeno is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous figure, very long black hair and violet eyes. Her hair is usually tied in a very long ponytail, reaching all the way down to the floor with two strands sticking out from the top and sloping backward, with an orange ribbon keeping it in place.

   Like most of the girls at Kuoh Academy, she wears the customary Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, along with black calf-length socks.

   As revealed in the visual book with her data her body measurements are [B102-W60-H89 cm] [B40-W24-H35 in]. Her body weight is [54 kg] [119 lbs] while her height is 168 cm (5 feet 6 inches).

   In the anime, during battles, she often transforms her clothes into a traditional miko attire, consisting of a white haori with red accents, a red hakama, and a pair of zōri with white tabi.

   After Akeno has revealed her Fallen Angel side in front of Issei, she has one Devil wing and one Fallen Angel wing. As the series progressed and she came to terms with her fallen angel powers, her wings increased to six, at first, because of the aid of Azazel's bracelets, then eight, resembling a High-Tier Fallen Angel.

   Personality

   Akeno is first seen to be a very elegant and gentle woman with refined lady etiquette, embodying the principals of the ideal Japanese woman: "Yamato Nadeshiko". However, underneath her calm, noble and dignified atmosphere, Akeno is shown to be highly sadistic in battle and doesn't show any mercy or remorse towards the enemies she slays, casually keeping up her smiling elegant persona over an enemy's death and showing an expression of pleasure and lust upon delivering them pain.

   Despite her sadism, Akeno is very kind, acknowledged by Rias and Issei. Before meeting Rias, Akeno would help people by purifying evil spirits for a living.

   As a result of seeing her mother being killed in front of her eyes and her father being unable to save her, Akeno developed a hatred for Fallen Angels, including a sense of self-loathing towards her own Fallen Angel nature, for it was the reason her beloved mother was killed by the Himejima Clan, which lead her to sever ties with her father, going into exile before being saved by Rias after Akeno's maternal relatives nearly killed her. Due to this reason, she empathizes with those who have suffered under the hands of Fallen Angels like Issei and Asia, who were manipulated and killed by the Fallen Angel Raynare, and was worried that Issei would dislike her due to her Fallen Angel nature. However, she fell in love with him after he told her that he still liked her. With Issei's help, she was able to overcome the sadness of her mother's death and reconcile with her estranged father, renewing their familial bond. Due to Issei helping her and Baraqiel in their reconciliation, Akeno's love for him deepened considerably as she confessed her feelings for him.

   While Akeno originally had no interest in dating men due to her past, she began to take an interest in Issei, thinking of him as a cute junior and that interest intensified after seeing his determination in the Rating Game against Riser Phenex and his actions during Rias' engagement ceremony, where he defeated Riser Phenex. She has stated that Issei is the first boy she has ever felt such feelings for as she is shown to have a desire to further her relationship with him. She also loves to tease Issei and Rias, as she loves to make Rias irritated by flirting with Issei stemming from her playful sadistic side. Akeno has also stated that she has some masochism in her as well, as she is only masochistic towards Issei in contrast to her sadistic nature in battle. She is shown to be quite vulgar, flirting with Issei as such and doesn't care if Rias knows or saw her doing the act as she tried to have sex with him while also trying to help Issei further his relationship with Rias, but does care enough to not steal him away from her as she even helped Issei confess to Rias. After falling in love with him, she becomes very seductive and is obsessed with having an affair with Issei whenever she finds a chance, which is often interrupted by Rias and some others. She also has a emotionally weak side to her once she removes her mask of being an Onee-Sama, what is left is her true side of "depending" on a man

   Akeno is still innocent and emotional towards love and acts like a girl her age whenever she is on a date with Issei. However, this still does not stop her from being seductive and flirting with Issei. Despite being seen as calm and clear, Akeno does get jealous like the other girls and will fight for Issei. Elemental Demonic Power: Akeno excels in using natural elements such as ice, fire, and water, but she specializes in lightning. She is able to create thunder clouds using her demonic power, making lightning bolts rain down on her opponents. She could freeze Cerberus' flames in an instant and target ice spears at her opponents. Much like her Holy Lightning Dragon, Akeno can also form Asian Dragons out of fire and ice, sending them at her enemies. Lightning Manipulation: Akeno originally specialized in lightning demonic power alone before she began using her Holy Lightning ability, where she imbues it with the power of light.

3. #3Albion

   Keys: Albion

   Age 10,000+ Albion is one of the Two Heavenly Dragons and the arch-rival of Ddraig. He is called the White Dragon, also known as the Vanishing Dragon, Albion Gwiber, White Dragon Emperor (白龍皇, Hakuryūkō) and White Dragon Emperor of Supremacy. He is currently residing within the Longinus, Divine Dividing, wielded by Vali Lucifer.

   Like Ddraig, he is also feared among Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils and the various factions in the world for his destructive powers, which are said to be able to kill both Gods and Satans. Albion is an enormous white western dragon described as having a beautiful pure white body, he has blue eyes, two golden horns, and unlike most western dragons, he has feathered wings. Personality

   Albion's personality has changed a great deal as time has passed. In the past, he felt lonely as a result of his poison and immense power, as no one wanted to come and challenge him. This changed as he met Ddraig, whose intense rivalry inspired him to become "a brave and fearless dragon on par with him."

   In the modern day, he has become somewhat depressed over the fact that he has become known as the Butt Dragon Emperor.

   As of Volume 15, it has been revealed that like Ddraig, he also needs a counselor because of the Butt Dragon Emperor related things. Nevertheless, he has shown that he cares a great deal about his current host, Vali, as much as Ddraig cares about Issei, despite the fact that their hosts are the ones responsible for their demeaning nicknames.

   Although he and Ddraig are powerful enough to challenge Gods and Satans, they both agreed to avoid fighting Evil Dragons, claiming that they are more brutal than other dragons.

   He has also shown that he really likes his current lifestyle, which doesn't involve fighting his rival every time they meet, but knows that there will eventually be a time when he and Vali must fight Ddraig and Issei.In the past, being known as Gwiber, Albion was an invincible Dragon and was notably feared for his venomous ability which can even kill Gods easily, and due to this fearful power, he was always lonely and resented using it. Although being overwhelmingly powerful, Albion was depressed due to having no equal to stand up against him until he met his soon to be arch-rival: the Welsh Dragon Ddraig, a being who was immune to his venom. Excited at the fact that there was an entity that could rival his power, Albion sealed his poison and soon resorted to becoming stronger through his rival, eventually developing techniques such as Divide and Reflect and both eventually became known as the Two Heavenly Dragons. During their many battles to improve themselves, both the Heavenly Dragons rampaged in the Realm of the Dead.

   At one point in their heated rivalry, while Albion was fighting Ddraig, their battle was interrupted by the Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels who were at war during the time. In anger, both Dragons attacked the leaders of the Three Factions, which led to their bodies being destroyed and their souls being sealed into two separate Sacred Gears, with Albion being placed inside the Sacred Gear, Divine Dividing. Reduce (減少, Genshō): Albion's original ability. He has a unique blend of venom that is capable of reducing the existence of all organic matter, including Gods. Even their souls are cut down bit by bit. However, this is ineffective against Great Red, Ophis, and Ddraig.

   Division and Absorption (半減と吸収, Hangen to Kyūshū): A power he developed as he battled Ddraig over the course of their rivalry, Albion is famed for his ability to divide an opponent's strength and absorb that halved power to add to his own.

   Reflect (反射, Hansha): Albion possesses the ability to reflect attacks to a certain degree.

   Dragon Aura: Albion can fire aura bullets with his dragon aura and aura breath. He used his aura breath to pierce through the Fake Ddraig's chest, killing him instantly.

   Telepathy: Albion, like Ddraig, can communicate through others as he usually speaks to Vali often and to other Dragons, particularly Ddraig.

   Flight: Being a Dragon, Albion possesses the ability to fly.

4. #4Angles

   Keys: Angels

   beings who serve the Biblical God, and have the powers to inflict pain upon Devils/demons and by extension the Fallen Angels, due to their light-based powers. After the death of the God of the Bible in the Great War of the Three Factions, the Angels were incapable of increasing their numbers normally until the creation of the Brave Saint system which allows humans to be reincarnated into Angels. Their power is derived from the faith of God's believers, so it was important for them to conceal God's death. During the peace conference of the Three Factions, Michael explained that the reason for Asia and Xenovia's excommunication from the Church was because of the possibility of them affecting humanity's faith in God which was necessary for the Angels' survival.

   Unlike Devils and Fallen Angels, Angels need to purify themselves when making love and both the Angel and partner must undergo a lengthy purification ritual (it takes several hours). They must also need to do it inside a specially crafted barrier and they both must not harbor any kind of possessive feelings while doing it, rather it must be done out of pure love.

   There were also traitors in the Heavens who were giving out information to the Khaos Brigade. Ironically, these top-class Angels were able to do so without falling due to a loophole in Heaven's system. These Angels, however, became Fallen Angels after leaving Heaven and escaping to the Khaos Brigade.

   Angels have jobs within the Church. These include "Angel Counselling" where they hear the confessions of people who have sinned and forgive them for their sins, naming children at the request of their parents, and regular work from file management to cooking classes and reception. All Angels can utilize Light Power that can cause severe damage to Devils and Fallen Angels, which can produce numerous light-based weapons such as spears, arrows, swords, a whip of light, balls of light and light rings, that can be used to grab hold of or restrain a foe with the size/power of a Fenrir pup. Spears appear to be the most commonly used weapons for Angels. Their light-based powers can also be used in different ways, but it is dependent on the individual angels, such as a light barrier or use light to enhanced physical attacks such as punches and kicks. A certain number of powerful high ranking Angels also has special holy abilities unique to themselves, like Uriel's ability to control Holy Fire and Baraqiel's power of Holy Lightning.

   Angels also have the ability of flight through their feathered wings. Like Devils and Fallen Angels, their wings are capable of retracting into their backs as if they've disappeared completely.

5. #5Arthur Pendragon

   Keys: Arthur

   Arthur Pendragon is a member of the Vali Team that was previously affiliated with the Khaos Brigade, now a part of Team DxD. He is a descendant of King Arthur, as well as a descendant of the witch Morgan le Fay, and is the older brother of Le Fay Pendragon.

   Age 20

   He was one of the two best swordsmen of the Khaos Brigade alongside Siegfried of the Hero Faction and is known as The Strongest Holy Sword User.

   Arthur is a bespectacled young man with blond hair with a strand of hair across his face, who is usually dressed in a business suit. Personality

   Arthur is a calm, dignified and polite gentleman who always speaks in a very courteous and soft spoken manner. He appears to be obsessed with finding an opponent suitable for his Holy King Sword, Caliburn. In combat, he is merciless and calculating as he cut down enemies in a cold and efficient manner. He is also a caring and a loving person as he cares deeply for his little sister Le Fay, comrades, and allies. He is honourable and fair, as he pays his debt to Issei for taking care of Le Fay. Fenrir claims he can't help but notice the "nothingness" inside him. History

   Arthur comes from the noble House of the Pendragon which consists of the descendants of King Arthur. He left the house after taking the Holy King Sword with him becoming an outcast and joining the Khaos Brigade in an attempt to seek strong foes. Arthur was originally part of the Hero Faction where he was Siegfried's rival before leaving the Hero Faction to join the Vali Team.

   It was revealed in the short story Maid of the House of Pendragon that one of the reasons he left the House was to protect his lover: Elaine Westcott.[1]

   Powers & Abilities

   Natural-born Holy Sword Wielder: Arthur is a natural-born Holy Sword wielder and is able to wield the strongest Holy Sword.

   Immense Combat Skills: Despite being a human, Arthur is a top-notch fighter with tremendous skills capable of defeating legendary beings; assisting his teammates in fight against one of Fenrir's sons and toying with him the entire time. During the Demonic Beast Riot and the Vali Team's attack on Hades' palace, he slayed numerous Grim Reapers, a notable feat as even Low-Ranked ones are stronger than average Middle-Class Devils. Arthur and his teammates held their own against Aži Dahāka, an immensely powerful Evil Dragon. Vali even considers him one of the five candidates for the strongest human.

   Master Swordsman Caliburn (コールブランドカリバーン, Karibān): Arthur's main weapon. The ultimate Holy Sword and the Sword in the Stone. The Caliburn can generate an extremely massive amount of Holy aura that surpasses even that of Excalibur and Durandal and is capable of ripping through space. Arthur can also use Caliburn to teleport himself or others to any location and can open small spatial portals to teleport its blade to strike enemies from any direction unexpectedly. He has mastered the Strongest Holy Sword, to be among the Strongest Humans.

   Excalibur Ruler (支配の聖剣エクスカリバー・ルーラー, Ekusukaribā Rūrā) (Formerly): Arthur previously wielded the strongest of the seven Excalibur fragments, Excalibur Ruler, before abandoning the sword and allowing Le Fay to give the Excalibur Ruler to Irina in Volume 11 after Fenrir no longer needed to be controlled by it.

6. #6Asia Argento

   Keys: Argento, Asia

   Asia Argento is one of the many female protagonists of High School DxD. She is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a girl with a very gentle heart who possesses a rare Sacred Gear, Twilight Healing, in her body that is capable of healing the wounds of Humans, Angels, Fallen Angels, and Devils alike. She was formerly one of Rias Gremory's Bishops but now serves as Issei Hyoudou's first Bishop and one of his fiancées. Asia is a beautiful young girl with long blonde hair and green eyes. Her body measurements are [B83→85-W55-H81→83 cm]; her height is [155 cm] [5 feet 1 inch] and her body weight is [44→45 kg] [97→98 lbs]. Her hair flows all the way down to her back, with split bangs over her forehead and a single strand sticking out from the top and sloping backward. Age 18

   Her former main attire consisted of a dark teal nun outfit with light blue accents, a white veil over her head with light blue accents, a brown satchel slung on her right hip (where she holds her Bible), and brown boots with black straps in an X-shaped pattern. She also wore a silver cross necklace around her neck (she was later forced to remove it after becoming a Devil).

   Upon transferring to Kuoh Academy, she wears the Kuoh Academy girls' uniform, albeit with a black sweater vest over her dress shirt in place of the cape and corset which has become her current main attire. Personality

   Asia is extremely shy, innocent and fairly inexperienced in things like socializing. As a former nun, Asia is a devout Christian, despite being reincarnated as a Devil, Asia still believes in God and follows his teachings such as praying to him and reading the Bible, which would usually result in her getting severe headaches. Asia has a strong kindness, even when she was still a human, she harbored no hate towards Devils and treated everyone equally, regardless of what they were. Azazel noted that her unconditionally kindhearted nature forces her Sacred Gear to heal even enemies, as she is incapable of turning a blind eye to the suffering of others. Asia was also in deep shock when she learned from Kokabiel that the God of the Bible was killed during the Great War.

   While initially having difficulty adjusting to her new life as a Devil, she has stated that she has found more important things than her faith in God, those things being her new friends, comrades as well as Issei's parents and Issei himself.

   Asia is noted to be a very pure individual as people are drawn to her and that she is easily liked by others. Her charm and purity is such as that she was able to tame Rassei, a Sprite Dragon despite being a Devil as normally Sprite Dragons aren't tamable by Devils and are only tamable by those with pure hearts. Azazel noted that she had outstanding talent for taming dragons, as after receiving Ophis' blessing, she was able to form a contract with Fafnir, one of the Five Great Dragon Kings. After she managed to tame 4 mass-produced Evil Dragons, her name was spread in the world of Dragons due to the fact that only Evil Gods were able to tame Evil Dragons, as she became known as the Dragon Priestess (龍の巫女, Ryū no Miko) among Dragons. Demonic Power: As a Devil, Asia has all the common skills and powers of one, including the power to cast spells.

   Enhanced Magic Power: As a Bishop, Asia can strengthen her magic and demonic powers, which she normally applies onto her Twilight Healing.

   Magic Talent: As a Bishop, Asia has shown great potential in using magic as she was put in charge of forming a barrier by Freed. Asia is studying under Rossweisse in order to learn summoning and transport magic to help defend herself and increase her combat strength, she can also use Dragon Gate magic circle.[1] Using her Bishop trait she can enhance her healing abilities with Twilight Saint Affection along with Fafnir's golden aura.

   Summoning Magic: Asia is show to be very adept at summoning magic as she is capable of using it to summon various creatures to assist her and Dragon Gate magical circles to summon her guardian familiar; the Golden Dragon King Fafnir. Elemental Magic: Asia is capable of using elemental magic; such as fire and wind magic as demonstrated in her fight against Crom Cruach. Twilight Healing (聖母の微笑トワイライト・ヒーリング, Towairaito Hīringu): Asia's Sacred Gear and her main weapon of choice, she can heal Humans, Devils, Angels, and Fallen Angels alike. Since she has shown no actual combat skills, she relies on her healing abilities as a healer of her team. Asia learned how to expand the range of her healing field and send her healing powers as a projectile, although these are inferior to actual touch. In Volume 11, Azazel has said that she mastered her Twilight Healing more than other possessors in healing powers and time. She can also create a bow and arrow of healing power, and if the arrow is about to hit an enemy, it will disperse instead of healing them.

   Twilight Saint Affection (聖龍姫が抱く慈愛の園トワイライト・セイント・アフェクション, Towairaito Seinto Afekushon): Asia's sub-species Balance Breaker. Asia's Balance Breaker takes the form of a Golden Dragon Armor with red jewels that cover her body and grants her a field of absolute defence and protection. For a limited time, Asia can cover a field with tremendous healing energy and can negate any damage from virtually any sources. It does not negate the attack but rather it negates the damage that the attack would inflict. As Fafnir's aura is included as well, it also boasts immense defence on top of the healing ability. Asia can also used it to heal numerous allies at once on a wide range, using it to heal the allied youkais during the Evil Dragon War.

7. #7Azazel

   Keys: Azazel

   Azazel is the former Governor General of the Fallen Angels and Grigori. He also previously served as a Chemistry teacher at Kuoh Academy and as the advisor of the Occult Research Club, prior to sealing himself in the Isolation Barrier Field. Azazel is a tall man appearing to be in his twenties with an average build, black hair, golden bangs, and black goatee. He also possesses twelve jet-black feathered wings that grow out from his back. It is described by Vali to be a never ending black.

   Age 26

   During the Summit, Azazel wore a V-neck maroon long-coat with a wide, open high-collar that opens up at the hem. The long-coat also featured two black belts around the waist and four black bands on each arm, two of the bands at the wrist and the other two near the elbow. He wore grey slacks and brown shoes.

   After the events in Volume 4, he loses his left arm, but replaces it with a prosthetic arm made from his Sacred Gear research.

   When he served as a Chemistry teacher at Kuoh Academy, Azazel wore a knee-length dark blue blazer with a lighter blue dress shirt, a black waist coat, and a red tie. He wore faded-purple slacks and black dress shoes. Azazel's height is 188 cm (6 feet 2 inches) and body weight is [82 kg]. Personality

   It is hard to determine Azazel's personality as he is laid-back yet serious, while also wise and insane at the same time. His character seems to reflect upon the situation at hand. Azazel loves to collect things, (shown when, after Issei introduced him to video games, he collected every console) and a research fanatic, especially on Sacred Gears. He is also shown to be pacifistic, preferring to talk his way out of troubles rather than resorting to violence. He has been shown to care deeply for his fellow Fallen Angels, Shemhazai and Baraqiel.

   Azazel has also been shown to be extremely charismatic, being able to endear his Fallen Angel followers. Azazel has complicated feelings about the fact that many of his friends and acquaintances are all married and have a family. Azazel is also perverted because of his fondness for breasts, and also due to the fact that he has stated to have had hundreds of harems over the millennia. Not to mention that his stated reason for becoming a Fallen Angel all those millennia ago was lust. Even before he became a Fallen Angel, he was already a pervert as he would fantasize about touching/seeing Gabriel's breasts, the most beautiful woman in Heaven as evident when he encouraged Issei to use Dress Break on her.

   Azazel is also very compassionate as he would do whatever he can to help people in need. The most prominent example is when he adopted Vali and cared for him as his own son, after learning of the immense abuse and cruelty Vali suffered by his father and grandfather.

   However, there seems to be a hidden former side to Azazel as Shiva told him that he is the most sinister of the Fallen Angels, despite wanting to spread peace. Immense Light Power: As a Fallen Angel, Azazel has the ability to use light power to create various effects. As the Governor General of Grigori, it is noted that his light powers are superior among other fallen angels ADVERTISEMENT Appearance

   Azazel is a tall man appearing to be in his twenties with an average build, black hair, golden bangs, and black goatee. He also possesses twelve jet-black feathered wings that grow out from his back. It is described by Vali to be a never ending black.

   During the Summit, Azazel wore a V-neck maroon long-coat with a wide, open high-collar that opens up at the hem. The long-coat also featured two black belts around the waist and four black bands on each arm, two of the bands at the wrist and the other two near the elbow. He wore grey slacks and brown shoes.

   After the events in Volume 4, he loses his left arm, but replaces it with a prosthetic arm made from his Sacred Gear research.

   When he served as a Chemistry teacher at Kuoh Academy, Azazel wore a knee-length dark blue blazer with a lighter blue dress shirt, a black waist coat, and a red tie. He wore faded-purple slacks and black dress shoes. Azazel's height is 188 cm (6 feet 2 inches) and body weight is [82 kg]. Personality

   It is hard to determine Azazel's personality as he is laid-back yet serious, while also wise and insane at the same time. His character seems to reflect upon the situation at hand. Azazel loves to collect things, (shown when, after Issei introduced him to video games, he collected every console) and a research fanatic, especially on Sacred Gears. He is also shown to be pacifistic, preferring to talk his way out of troubles rather than resorting to violence. He has been shown to care deeply for his fellow Fallen Angels, Shemhazai and Baraqiel.

   Azazel has also been shown to be extremely charismatic, being able to endear his Fallen Angel followers. Azazel has complicated feelings about the fact that many of his friends and acquaintances are all married and have a family. Azazel is also perverted because of his fondness for breasts, and also due to the fact that he has stated to have had hundreds of harems over the millennia. Not to mention that his stated reason for becoming a Fallen Angel all those millennia ago was lust. Even before he became a Fallen Angel, he was already a pervert as he would fantasize about touching/seeing Gabriel's breasts, the most beautiful woman in Heaven as evident when he encouraged Issei to use Dress Break on her.

   Azazel is also very compassionate as he would do whatever he can to help people in need. The most prominent example is when he adopted Vali and cared for him as his own son, after learning of the immense abuse and cruelty Vali suffered by his father and grandfather.

   However, there seems to be a hidden former side to Azazel as Shiva told him that he is the most sinister of the Fallen Angels, despite wanting to spread peace. History

   Originally an Angel from Fifth Heaven, during his time there, Azazel had once written a report on his Artificial Sacred Gear, the Blazer Shining or Darkness Blade, which was published by Michael during the war much to his embarrassment.

   Azazel later lost his place in the Heaven after having sex with a human woman and became a Fallen Angel as punishment from God. Shortly after that, he created the Fallen Angels' organization, Grigori, and became its Governor General. During the Great War between the Three Factions, the Fallen Angels were the first to retreat due to Azazel's order after he had lost many of his subordinates. After retreating from the Great War, Azazel started to research Sacred Gears, creating Artificial Sacred Gears and other objects related to them.

   He also made a contract with one of the Five Great Dragon Kings, Fafnir, during his research and created his own Artificial Sacred Gear: the Down Fall Dragon Spear.

   At some point, before the series begins, Azazel found a young Vali Lucifer who had been abandoned by his parents, took him to Grigori, and taught him how to properly use his powers along with his Sacred Gear while raising him. Powers & Abilities

   Immense Light Power: As a Fallen Angel, Azazel has the ability to use light power to create various effects. As the Governor General of Grigori, it is noted that his light powers are superior among other fallen angels.

   Azazel firing light spears Azazel firing multiple light spears Light-Based Weapons: As a Fallen Angel, Azazel can create light-based weapons, however, he's noted to be superior to Fallen Angels and angels aside from the Seraph. He can easily generate numerous light spears and shoot them like arrows without the slightest sign of exhaustion, being able to create a gigantic light spear before turning it into several light arrows. Immense Strength: As the First Governor General, Azazel has immense strength rivaling Satan-Class Devils, being superior to Shemhazai, Baraqiel, and Kokabiel, rivaling the Archangel, Michael. During the Three Factions Conference, he fought against Katerea, an Ultimate-Class Devil and a Leviathan descendant even without using his Down Fall Dragon Spear. Donned in his Dragon Armor, he fought Cao Cao, the Strongest Longinus user; and in Vol 11, Pluto, an Ultimate-Class Grim Reaper. In Vol 16, Azazel has shown incredible physical strength able to destroy the nearby wall using a single punch.

   Immense Durability: Azazel has remarkable durability and pain tolerance, showing no reaction to cutting off his own left arm after freeing himself from Katerea's tentacle arms who planned on self-destructing. He later survived a surprise attack from Vali before casually emerged relatively unharmed following his betrayal. Azazel endured a light blast from Cao Cao's True Longinus with only slight burns.

   Immense Speed: Azazel is capable of moving at God-like speed, being able to appear behind his opponents without them noticing. Down Fall Dragon Spear: An Artificial Sacred Gear that has one of the Five Dragon Kings, Fafnir, sealed inside of it after he made a pact with him. It has the appearance of a golden short spear which has a purple ball at its end. Down Fall Dragon Another Armor: Balance Breaker of Down Fall Dragon Spear, which equips Azazel with a Golden Dragon Armor, which he made based on Vali's Scale Mail. It increases Azazel's offensive and defensive capabilities and allows Azazel to summon a two-pronged Spear of Light. However, the armor isn't as powerful as genuine Scale Mail armor as Cao Cao noted that Azazel can't reflect Fafnir's power with it. Blazer Shining or Darkness Blade: An Artificial Sacred Gear that takes the form of a sword with a mixture of light and darkness with high destructive powers. Blazer Shining or Darkness Samurai Sword: An Artificial Sacred Gear that takes the form of a katana sword. Like the original, it possesses the same destructive powers as well as the ability to cut down spirits without physical forms. It was later given to Tomoe Meguri. Blazer Shining or Darkness Blade - Kitchen Knife Type: An Artificial Sacred Gear that takes the form of an ordinary kitchen knife that releases a slight golden aura. It can basically cut almost anything including evil spirits. It is later confiscated by Grigori.

8. #8Balance breaker

   Keys: Balance breaker

   The reason for the potential of Balance Breaker's in Sacred Gears is unconfirmed. Azazel claims that Balance Breaker is a "bug" in the system created by the God of the Bible, while others such as Loki believe it to be an intentional feature.

   The Balance Breaker is initially considered a forbidden power by the Three Factions. It is known as the ultimate state of activation for a Sacred Gear.

   Balance Breaker is often triggered by high emotions combined with a change in the heart or spirit of the wielder.

   There is an incomplete state for Balance Breaker which is called Over Booster (オーバー・ブースター, Ōbā Būsutā).

   There are cases where a Sacred Gear user was born with the ability to use Balance Breaker, such as Tobio Ikuse. This is a rare occurrence among any type of Sacred Gear wielder, as most Sacred Gear wielders who were born with the ability to use Balance Breaker without needing to attain it died of or became unstable with their power. The Balance Breaker is the most powerful manifestation of all Sacred Gears in which the possessor's feelings trigger this evolution. Once reached, the Balance Breaker can be entered again far more easily than the first time. With proper training, it can be maintained for longer periods of time, as with the case of Vali Lucifer. While initially both Yuuto Kiba and Issei Hyoudou could only maintain it for short periods of time, undergoing intense training helped them improve this time. When first introduced, Vali could maintain his Balance Breaker for a month

9. #9Baraqiel

   Keys: Baraqiel

   Baraqiel is the current Vice Governor General of the Fallen Angels and Grigori. He is the father of Akeno Himejima and the widower of Shuri Himejima. Baraqiel is also one of Azazel's closest friends, alongside Shemhazai.

   Age 47

   Baraqiel has the appearance of a middle-aged, gruff-looking man with black hair, a matching beard, and a muscular body. Originally being a Cadre-class Fallen Angel, Baraqiel possesses ten black wings[1]. Personality

   Baraqiel has a serious, rigid warrior-type personality. Baraqiel is very protective of his daughter, Akeno, and is initially hostile to Issei due to his misconception of him being "a Dragon that devours breasts". This also suggests that he is naive to jokes, taking them in a literal sense. He also has a masochistic side to him, the inverse of which is inherited by his daughter. History

   Originally, Baraqiel was one of the Angels from Fifth Heaven, where he became known as the Lightning of God. But, he soon became one of the first Angels that fell alongside Azazel and Shemhazai, eventually becoming one of the Leaders of Grigori, an organization that soon became one of the Three Factions. He and the others fought in the Great War against the angels and devils until the death of the God of the Bible and Four Maou in the aftermath.

   In the past, Baraqiel was injured and found by Shuri Himejima who nursed him back to health leading to them falling in love with one another, leading to marriage. Their union also led to them giving birth to their only daughter, Akeno Himejima. However, the Himejima Clan couldn't accept her as a fallen angel-human hybrid. At some point, when Baraqiel was called back to Grigori by Azazel, the Himejima Clan members, led by Suou Himejima, took advantage of this to kill Shuri and Akeno, but they only managed to murder the former before Baraqiel arrived to save his daughter. However, he was rejected by her who developed a hatred for him and her fallen angel lineage, which led to her mother's death.

   Powers & Abilities

   Immense Light Power: As a Fallen Angel, Baraqiel has the ability to use light power to create various effects.

   Light-Based Weapons: While not shown in the light novel, in the anime, Baraqiel has shown that he can create a light sword. Holy Lightning (雷光, Raikō): Baraqiel's signature ability as a former Angel who bears the Lightning of God, one that combines light and lightning together. It is reputed to be number one among Fallen Angels in damage output in a single strike, being able to kill High-Class Devils and wound Ultimate-Class Devils in one strike, and is ten times stronger than his daughter's. Baraqiel's mastery is enough for him to create spears, creating thunder clouds to make Holy Lightning bolts rain down on his opponents, as well as infuse it into his punches and kicks, letting him fight Issei in his Crimson Armor, after it was strengthened as a side effect of his Dragon Deification, on equal terms. Immense Strength: As a former Cadre, Baraqiel possesses great power, able to hold his own against a lower-end Satan-class powerhouse like Issei in his crimson armor, although he admitted that, even with his power enhanced by anger, he still wouldn't beat Issei in a contest of power. By possessing God`s Holy Lightning, he can kill a High-Class Devil or injure an Ultimate-Class Devil in a single strike.

   Immense Durability: Baraqiel is shown to be very durable as he was able to endure several blows from Issei in his Cardinal Crimson Promotion.

   Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Baraqiel is shown to have great skills in hand-to-hand combat, being able to hold his own against Issei. He can also combine them with his Holy Lightning to further increase the power of his physical attacks.

   Master Tactician: Baraqiel has shown to be able to implement a genius strategy, as shown in Volume 22 where he lured Issei into a corner by manipulation, completely tricking him into not noticing his plan. This is further proven when trapping Issei was all but a feint for him to use "Castling", swapping places with Rossweisse so that Baraqiel's Queen; Armaros, could ambush her.

   Flight: Being a Fallen Angel, Baraqiel can fly using his wings.

10. #10Beluga

    Keys: Beluga

    Beluga Furcas is Sairaorg's Knight from the House of Furcas, a family that tames horses and one of the remaining families of the 72 Pillars. Beluga has the appearance of a handsome young man with brown hair and green eyes. In battle, he wears medieval armor whilst riding upon Altobrau who was emits blue-white flames, which gives him the appearance of a medieval Knight.

    Age 24

    Personality

    Beluga is fiercely loyal to Sairaorg. Like Yuuto Kiba and Karlamine, he also follows the pride and honor of a Knight. History

    Not much is known about Beluga's history, other than at some point before the series he joined Sairaorg's peerage.

    Powers & Abilities

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Beluga has all the common skills and powers of one. Enhanced Speed: As a Knight, Beluga possesses enhanced speed and mobility. While riding on Altobrau, Beruka moves at an incredibly high speeds, comparable to that of Yuuto Kiba; who has god-like speed. Replication: Beluga has also shown to have the ability to create many duplicates of himself and his horse which have the same presence and enhanced speed as the real Beruka.

    Horse Tamer: As a member of the Furcas clan, Beluga has the ability to tame horses. He tamed and rides a Pale Horse named Altobrau (アルトブラウ, Arutoburau).

    Master Spearman: Beluga is a highly skilled lancer, which he combined with horsemanship on Altobrau. He could fight on par with Yuuto Kiba in a clash of weapons.

    Flight: Being a Devil, Beluga can use his wings to fly.

11. #11Bikou

    Keys: Bikou

    Bikou is a Monkey Youkai who is member of the Vali Team previously affiliated with the Khaos Brigade, now a part of Team DxD. He is the descendant of Sun Wukong and the current Monkey King. Bikou is mostly seen in his human form as a young man with short light-colored hair (black and later reddish-brown in the anime), brown eyes, and an athletic build.

    He is most often dressed in ancient Chinese armor that was used during the Three Kingdoms period. Personality

    He has a flippant and playful personality, and likes to joke around with no elegance and is obsessed with battles just like Vali Lucifer. He also appears to laugh in a vulgar way just like Kuroka does (according to Fenrir). History

    As a member of Sun Wukong's clan, Bikou comes from the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit like his ancestors. He was given the title of the Monkey King at some point before the series but decided to leave the mountain and join the Khaos Brigade, becoming a member of the Vali Team. Youjutsu Expert: While not at his ancestor or Kuroka's level, Bikou has showcased the ability to perform Youjutsu.

    Replication: Bikou has the ability to make many duplicates of himself to attack his opponents. Transformation: Similar to his ancestor, Bikou has the ability to transform and is usually seen in his human form. In DX.1, he has proven to be able to transform into Rias as he and the Vali Team pretended to be members of the Oppai Dragon tokusatsu program. Senjutsu Expert: While not at his ancestor or Kuroka's level, Bikou has showcased the ability to perform Senjutsu.

    Touki: Bikou can use Touki, increasing his offense, defense, and speed. He can channel touki into Ruyi Jingu Bang to enhance its offense and defense power. Immense Strength: Bikou is shown to be on the level of an Ultimate-Class Devil. He was able to go toe-to-toe with Tannin, a former Dragon King, and an Ultimate-Class Devil (although Tannin was holding back). According to Sun Wukong, Bikou has grown significantly stronger from fighting powerful enemies after joining the Vali Team.

    Immense Durability: Bikou was able to withstand Tannin's Fire Breath with little injuries (however, Tannin was also holding back at the time). In Volume 24, he was able to endure an attack from Yuuto, who was wielding Gram. He has a huge amount of endurance, being able to withstand being a guinea pig in Kuroka's gruesome Youjutsu experiments to create a special poison powerful enough to affect Sun Wukong.

    Immense Speed: Bikou has been shown to be extremely fast, able to keep up with Kiba at high-speed combat.

    Master Combatant: Bikou is a formidable combatant, able to use and mix different fighting styles. He could fight powerful supernatural beings such as Tannin and Grim Reapers. He could hold his own against Yuuto, a master swordsman who mastered Gram, the strongest Demon Sword. Working with the current Zhu Bajie and Sha Wujing, he could overwhelm Sun Wukong the Victorious Fighting Buddha after the latter was weakened by Kuroka's special poison.

    Master Staff Wielder

    Bishops (僧侶ビショップ, Bishoppu) are worth 3 Pawns.[8] Bishops gain enhanced demonic power and magical abilities which they can use to conjure up a multitude of spells (offensive, healing, etc.). However, more powerful spells consume most of their demonic and magical powers, which takes a long time to regain, forcing them to use their power carefully or risk becoming vulnerable to physical attacks.

13. #13Bülent

    Keys: Bulent, Bülent

    Bülent is one of Riser Phenex’s Pawns. Bülent is a young pretty girl with shoulder length brown hair and beautiful blue eyes, dressed in a sleeveless French maid uniform that exposes her cleavage, with a white laced design on the edges, as well as a maid headpiece, half-apron, and forearm length fingerless gloves.

    Age 19

    Personality

    Bülent is loyal to Riser Phenex as well as affectionate towards him like the rest of his peerage. Bürent can be a bit complacent, falling for traps when believing to have achieved her objective. She also seems to be one who easily underestimates her opponents, as shown when she thought she had the upper hand on Yuuto for outnumbering him while blissfully unaware of his full capabilities. However she only shows this side of her in battle. In normal times, she is very friendly and kind towards everyone especially Lord Riser. She treats everyone fair and well and she really cares for their well being. History

    Nothing much is known about her past except that at one point she joined Riser's peerage.

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Bülent has all the common skills and powers of one. She was the Riser's strongest pawn.

    Flight: Being a Devil, Bülent can use her wings to fly. Equipment

    Pawn Piece (兵士の駒ポーンのこま, Heishi no koma): Bülent was reincarnated using a Pawn Piece, which initially doesn't grant any special abilities like the other Evil Pieces, but which possesses the ability to use Promotion to gain the abilities of other Evil Pieces.

    Promotion: Being a Pawn, Bülent can use Promotion to temporarily gain the traits of a Queen, Rook, Knight or Bishop.

14. #14Coa Coa

    Keys: Cao Cao

    Age 19 Cao Cao is the descendant of Cao Cao from the Three Kingdoms era and the leader of the Khaos Brigade's Hero Faction. After Sun Wukong stepped down from his position as Indra's vanguard, Cao Cao became his successor and Indra's new vanguard. He is the possessor of the first and ultimate Longinus; the True Longinus. Cao Cao is a handsome young man with short black hair and blue eyes. He wears a combination of a Japanese school uniform (more specifically, the gakuran worn by Japanese schoolboys in the fall) and ancient Chinese hanfu attire. He also lost his right eye while escaping from the Kyoto incident but later gained one of Medusa's eyes, restoring his sight. After his battle with Issei Hyoudou in Volume 12, he lost his Medusa's eye and since Volume 18, he has worn an eyepatch. His height is [177 cm] and his body weight is [71 kg]. Personality

    Cao Cao is a charismatic and manipulative person, as he was able to convince many Sacred Gear users to join the Hero Faction either from their own will or by brainwashing them. He also believes that it is his responsibility as a descendant of a hero to destroy beings like Devils, Fallen Angels, and Dragons which he believes are threats to human beings. Due to being a descendant of a famous historical hero and being born with the Holy Spear, he believes that he was chosen by the world thinking that he is the hero of the world along with his comrades. Like his ancestor, he has the eyes to find people with good potential and considers them valuable talents. However, Cao Cao only accepts Humans with Sacred Gears in the Hero Faction and wants to see how far his faction can go against supernatural existences as he wants to test the limits of what humans are capable of.

    He is also cocky and arrogant, as he claims that he alone is enough to fight a god, and mocks opponents who are weaker. He tends to lose his control and composure when he is injured by someone unexpectedly or caught by unexpected unluckiness and things, as is seen when he gets infuriated when Issei hits his eye, and nearly loses his composure and self-control. Sun Wukong and Vasco still consider his views and abilities to be amateurish, childish, lacking, and still have some development.

    His cockiness would be his greatest downfall, according to Vali, as he refuses to kill both Issei and Vali, and put his objectives first rather than them at that time, thus allowing Issei to defeat him during their third encounter. But still, has some respect for those he deems worthy, those that manage to get his interest and he considers strong, such as Issei, Azazel, Vali, and Vasco. Like Georg, he tends to overthink things if some things do not tend to happen, the way he expects them to be, as is seen when he overthinks Issei's survival with the help of Great Red and Ophis.

    He also believes in fate, where he believes that there is a reason why he met Issei, Vali, and other various strong people who exist. It extended to the point that he mentioned in Volume 18, that the reason why he returned is that he wants to know why the True Longinus was given to him and why it chose him despite his past mistakes.

    During his return in Volume 18, he is shown as willing to cooperate with the DxD against Qlippoth and during the Evil Dragon war, where he is shown helping various people including the last stand against Trihexa and the Evil Dragons as Indra's order, and align himself with the Grigori as its agent along with Tobio. Immense Speed: Cao Cao has shown incredible speed, greater than even well trained humans, matching Azazel in his Downfall Dragon Another Armor. Another testament to his speed was when he fended off the combined assault of Vali and Azazel in their respective Balance Breaker armors without being hit once. In conjunction with his gifted senses, Cao Cao can timely evaded attacks that are hard to avoid, such as Sairaorg 's Breakdown the Beast enhanced speed and Sonnelion's Crushing demonic power.

    Immense Durability: While his durability is inferior to Issei's and Vali's, Cao Cao has shown great tolerance to damage and pain, having an arm chopped off by Issei's Ascalon only to calmly retrieve it and restore it back with a Phoenix Tear, as well as surviving a punch from Triaina Rook by blocking with the True Longinus, with the impact of his fall breaking the ground. Later on, he was able to survive the fatal pain of having his Medusa's eye destroyed by Samael's curse. In Volume DX.4, Cao Cao was able to withstand a punch from Sairaorg Bael in his Breakdown the Beast by blocking with his spear, albeit Sairaorg himself was in a grievously injured state.

    Immense Combat Skills True Longinus (黄昏の聖槍トウルー・ロンギヌス, Tōrū Ronginusu): Cao Cao's sacred gear and main weapon, which is the first and the strongest Longinus, being the same spear St. Longinus used to pierce Jesus Christ, bathing in his blood. It can piece Gods and Buddhas, shaving off their power and split powerful attacks, and holding the potential to destroy the world. As the holiest relic, believers can be driven insane looking at it, and vaporize High-Class Devils and also damage Satan-Class Devils. Despite being a spear, it can release powerful light blasts and wrap its aura around its blast; extend and retract based on his will; and shield himself from attacks from even Issei and Sairaorg.

    Polar Night Longinus Chakravartin (極夜なる天輪聖王の輝廻槍ポーラーナイト・ロンギヌス・チャクラヴァルティン, Pōrā Naito Ronginusu Chakuravarutin): Cao Cao's Sub-Species Balance Breaker, which creates a light halo behind him and seven identical orbs, the Seven Treasures that has different abilities; making it difficult to tell the difference between them. The orbs can move based on his will and turn into spears to attack, and penetrate Ladon's barrier. Instead of summoning his Seven Treasures, Cao Cao can concentrate Polar Night Longinus Chakravatin's power into solely strengthen his True Longinus's offensive power, making it possible to pierce Sairaorg's beast armor and damage him. Hatthiratana (象宝ハッティラタナ, Hattiratana): It grants the wielder to levitate an object the sphere touches. It also is shown that Cao Cao has the ability to fly and was able to lift Ladon into the air. Itthiratana (女宝イッティラタナ, Ittiratana): It has the ability to completely stop the special abilities of women for a short time. Maniratana (珠宝マニラタナ, Maniratana): It has the ability to redirect an attack sent towards the user to another target. Assaratana (馬宝アッサラタナ, Assaratana): It has the ability to teleport a person the wielder chooses. It can also be used on Cao Cao himself, allowing him to teleport to the place of his choice. Cakkaratana (輪宝チャッカラタナ, Chakkaratana): It has the ability to destroy all weapons. Kahabateiratana (居士宝ガハパティラタナ, Gahapatiratana): It creates warrior-like existences and acts in the same way as Blade Blacksmith's Balance Breaker: Blade Knight Mass. Parinayakaratana (将軍宝バリナーヤカラタナ, Parināyakaratana): It has a strong attack with high destructive powers. The strongest ability of the seven. It seems to have some sort of restriction on how often it can be used. Issei speculated that it needs some sort of requirement for activation. Truth Idea (覇輝トゥルース・イデア, Turūsu Idea): It can create miracles, though it depends on the user of the spear, as it is the will of the God from the Bible that decides if Truth Idea can be used. It can repel a great number of mass-produced Evil Dragons and cause immense pain to Apophis, an immensely powerful Evil Dragon. Medusa's Eye: After he lost his right eye to Issei's attack, and later replaces the lost eye with Medusa's eye, letting him turn anything to stone. Cao Cao lost the Medusa's eye when Issei used Samael's curse on it.

    Artificial Eye: At some point, Cao Cao received an artificial eye to replace the one he lost, then Medusa's Eye. It was revealed in their fight against Surtr, Rias theorized it has some special power.

15. #15Connla

    Keys: Connla

    Age 19 Connla is a member of the Hero Faction. He inherited the spirit of the original Connla, the son of the Irish mythological hero Cú Chulainn Connla is a young man with black hair tied into a bun, he also wears a pair of shades. His attire consists of a black Japanese school uniform (more specifically, the gakuran worn by Japanese schoolboys in the fall). Personality

    Connla's most notable feature is that he's quite stubborn, still attempting to continue fighting even if he appears to be weakened and outmatched, displaying a degree of courage, loyalty and even unwavering determination. Connla deeply respects Cao Cao and follows his orders absolutely. Connla's Sub-Species Balance Breaker of Night Reflection which creates a black shadow armor that covers his body. He cites Issei's Scale Mail armor as a source of inspiration. Death Cross allows Connla to become like a shadow, gaining its intangible properties and allowing physical attacks pass right through him, although the wielder is susceptible to most forms of energy (heat/cold). Connla can also shape parts of his shadow body into a blade and tentacles that can bind his opponents. In addition Connla retains the ability to manipulate shadows as it absorb attacks using shadows and redirect the attack at enemies.

    Coriana Andrealphus is Sairaorg's Bishop from the House of Andrealphus, one of the extinct families from the 72 Pillars, which held the rank of Marquis. Coriana is an attractive and curvy young woman with long, wavy blonde hair and red eyes. She wears a red business suit with purple accents, and purple underwear underneath it. Personality

    Coriana is loyal to Sairaorg, much like the rest of his peerage, as she willingly used her body and stripped in front of Issei Hyoudou during their Rating Game in order for her team to win. History

    Not much is known about Coriana, other than at some point before the series she joined Sairaorg's peerage. However, she was likely shunned by the other Devils given her mixed heritage.

    Powers & Abilities

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Coriana has all the powers and skills afforded to one such as being able to cast spells and cause pheneoma. It was noted that she excels in all categories of demonic powers, but she's more of a support-type.

    Enhanced Magic Power: As a Bishop, she can strengthen her magic and demonic powers.

    Magic Talent: Befitting a Bishop, Coriana has various skills in magic and demonic powers, excelling in almost all categories.

    Ice Magic: She can release spear-like projectiles created from ice using her demonic powers during her battle against Issei. Flight: Being a Devil, Coriana can use her wings to fly.

17. #17Ddraig

    Age 10,000+ Ddraig is one of the Two Heavenly Dragons and the arch-rival of Albion. He is called the Red Dragon known as the Welsh Dragon, Y Ddraig Goch, Red Dragon Emperor (赤龍帝, Sekiryūtei) and Red Dragon Emperor of Domination, who resides within the Longinus, Boosted Gear, wielded by Issei Hyoudou.

    Ddraig is feared among the Angels, Fallen Angels, Devils and the various other factions in the world for his destructive powers, which are said to be able to kill both Gods and Satans. Ddraig is a dragon with the appearance of a large red Western Dragon, with a long neck and green eyes (described as red in Volume 2). He also has red and golden spikes throughout his body. Personality

    Ddraig's personality has changed a great deal as time has passed. At first, he had a great deal of pride in himself, though he admits that he had an intense rivalry with Albion, the other Heavenly Dragon. Since that time, he has become somewhat depressed because of the fact that he has become known as the Oppai Dragon and the Breast Dragon Emperor. Ddraig even requires counseling and medication because of it. Ddraig has shown that he cares a great deal about his current host, Issei, as much as Albion cares about Vali, despite the fact that their hosts are the ones responsible for their demeaning nicknames.

    He has also shown that he really likes his current lifestyle, which doesn't involve fighting his rival every time they meet, but knows that there will eventually be a time when he and Issei must fight Albion and Vali.

    It also noted that he has an extremely high level of intelligence and is also wise enough to give advice to others especially to Issei, as he can tell all things about mythological things just like Azazel. Although he and Albion are powerful enough to challenge Gods and Satans, they both agreed to avoid fighting Evil Dragons, claiming that they are more brutal than other dragons. In the past, Ddraig was a fearsome Dragon known to have powerful flames that can incinerate anything, including Gods, and will never go out till they burn the opponents to ashes. Ddraig eventually met Albion, who was immune to his flames. Happy to meet someone who can rival him, Ddraig sealed his flames and started to compete with Albion to improve themselves, developing techniques such as Boost and Penetrate, and both eventually became famous as the Two Heavenly Dragons. During their many battles to improve themselves, both the Heavenly Dragons rampaged in the Realm of the Dead. Ddraig also fought against Grendel and Níðhöggr at an undisclosed time in the past.

    Before the start of the Great War, Ddraig had borrowed some of Tiamat's legendary treasures for his upcoming battle with Albion. At one point, while continuing his battle with his arch-rival, the Vanishing Dragon, Albion, which was interrupted by the Angels, Devils, and Fallen Angels who were at war during the time. In anger, both Dragons attacked the leaders of the Three Factions, which led to their bodies being destroyed and their souls being sealed into two separate Sacred Gears, with Ddraig being placed inside the Longinus Sacred Gear; Boosted Gear. Tiamat's borrowed treasure was left to be stolen by Human thieves after being sealed and scattered them all across the Human World. Since then, she has been chasing after Ddraig and his hosts for a long time in order to retrieve her stolen treasure; however Ddraig always detected her presence and asked his hosts to run away. This was because he could not return her treasures and felt that he would be chased for it. Immense Strength: As one of the Heavenly Dragons, Ddraig has immense power, surpassing the Dragon Kings, the Four Great Satans and God himself, and is surpassed only by the Dragon Gods. Azazel stated he'd surpassed the three strongest Evil Dragons, even Crom Cruach before his training. It took the Three Factions allying together to kill the Heavenly Dragons, both of whom would've been among the Top 10 Strongest Beings. Once resurrected, his strength overpowered Apollon, defeated Typhon, then fought Crom Cruach, who is said to have surpassed Ddraig. He then fought and overwhelmed the Fake Albion, who was said to be above Dragon King.

    Immense Durability: In Volume 25, Typhon's powerful lightning storm was unable to inflict any damage at all. Ddraig was also able to repel Apollon's light just by wrapping himself in his aura and flapping his wings. Ddraig also endured Crom's vicious and powerful attacks, even though the Evil Dragon is said to have become stronger than him.

    Doubling and Transference, fire breathing Welsh Dragon Flare (ウェルシュ・ドラゴン・フレア, U~erushu Doragon Furea): A technique which he developed after observing his current host, Issei, where he breaths out a massive amount of flames able to cover an entire island. Dragon Aura: Ddraig can release a tremendous and dense Dragon aura, befitting a Heavenly Dragon, one that is much stronger than Issei's Diabolos Dragon, making the air around him feel cold from the presence alone, & can be raised even higher via Boost and telepath.

    All Devils have enhanced physical abilities such as superhuman strength, endurance, and enhanced sense such as sight and hearing; in addition to being able to see clearly in the dark as creatures of the night. Devils are able to fly through using their bat-like wings, which are capable of retracting into their backs as if disappearing entirely. They also possess a passive ability called "Language", which allows normal people listening to them to hear it in the language they're most familiar with and vice versa.     The Devils (悪魔, Akuma) are one of the Three Factions in High School DxD, alongside the Angels and Fallen Angels. There are two major types of Devils in the story: the Pure-Blooded Devils (純血悪魔, Junketsu Akuma), and Reincarnated Devils (転生悪魔, Tensei Akuma). Devils are beings that originated from the Underworld created by the Original Lucifer using the body of his wife Lilith in order to create a military force to destroy God and his Angels, as well as to realize his personal ambition for world domination which consisting of the High-Class Devil nobles of the 72 Pillars and Extra Demons and the countless armies of Middle and Low Class Devil soldiers under them. The total life span of a Devil is approximately 10,000 years.

    The Devils were originally ruled by the Four Great Satans prior to their death in the Great War. Following the end of the Great War, the descendants of the original Satans apart from Rizevim wanted to continue the Great War but were faced with opposition by other Devils, most prominently the Bael clan, who assumed authority after the death of their leaders. This started a Civil War between the Devils with the descendants of the original Satans losing the war and a new government was formed among the Devils. The new government then appoints four new Satans through strength and accomplishment in the civil war. A common weakness for all Devils is that they cannot go near/get involved with anything that has to do with the Biblical God, as they will suffer nasty side effects (headaches, immense pain, etc.), as seen when Issei couldn't go near the Church when he was talking to Asia, or when he tried to pray but only ended up collapsing from the pain soon after. They are vulnerable to holy objects such as crucifixes, holy water, and the Bible, and can get killed easily by Holy Swords and Sacred Gears with divine properties, such as Blade Blacksmith and the True Longinus (Asia's Twilight Healing, however, is a notable exception). These effects are caused by the system put in place by the Biblical God, which was being kept up by Michael and is now being kept up by Gabriel, and only she has the power to change the system.

20. #20Diodora Astaroth

    Diodora Astaroth was the former heir of the Astaroth Clan. He was the son of Lord and Lady Astaroth. He was a gentle-looking, handsome young man with blond hair as depicted in the novel (dark green hair in the anime). Diodora also had a big deep scar on his chest from when he injured himself to have Asia heal it as part of his plan to make her a heretic. He usually wears expensive clothing. He also has golden eyes, but they are almost always closed or squint Ed.

    Age 19

    Personality

    While initially appearing to be a gentle, well-mannered, and charismatic young man, Diodora was in fact a narcissistic, sinister, vile, callous, and wicked person who would do "whatever it takes" to achieve his desires. He had an utter obsession with nuns and holy-maidens, which was exemplified by the fact that all of his servants were once nuns and maidens that he had acquired after "breaking" them. He enjoyed seeing them with expressions of pain, sadness, and despair which he found to be an ultimate form of entertainment. This showed Diodora to be an incredibly sadistic Devil.

    He was also very imprudent, as was exemplified when he used the Ophis' power in a careless way despite Shalba Beelzebub forbidding him from doing so, as it allowed the Three Factions higher-ups such as Sirzechs and Azazel to catch wind of the Khaos Brigade's plot due to noticing his irregular increase in power. Despite this, he is very intelligent, deceptive, and manipulative, capable of manipulating others into doing his bidding. An example would be how he managed to convince the nuns and holy-maidens who would become his servants that he was in love with them, only to use them for his own twisted pleasure, showing that he is also incapable of love.

    He was shown to have a loathing towards Dragons and those connected to them: he once called Issei a "filthy dragon". After being overpowered and defeated by Issei thus breaking his will to fight, he became immensely fearful of him and dragons as well. Demonic Power: Diodora showed some skill in using his demonic powers, as he was able to hurl conjured blades at Issei and create barriers during their fight. His power was greatly enhanced with Ophis' snake, surpassing Rias Gremory's demonic power and allowing him to completely overwhelm Seekvaira Agares, another High-Class Devil, with ease.

    Magic: Diodora showed some skill in using magic.

    Defensive Magic: Diodora demonstrated the ability to create a defensive magic circle to shield himself against attacks. He also demonstrated the ability to create a large barrier to trap Issei in order to stop his attacks. Teleportation Magic: Diodora has demonstrated the ability to teleport himself and others. Hypnosis Magic: In the anime, he used a form of hypnotism on his peerage to suppress their shame and embarrassment to fight against Issei's Dress Break spell. Equipment

    Ophis' Snake: After joining forces with the Khaos Brigade, he obtained a snake which he used to increase his power. He used it during his Rating Game against Seekvaira Agares and his fight with Issei Hyoudou. He lost the snake during his confrontation with Issei Hyoudou.

    Dohnaseek was a Fallen Angel allied with Raynare in the latter's plot to steal Asia Argento's Sacred Gear Dohnaseek was a middle-aged-looking man with short black hair and dark blue eyes[2].

    His attire consisted of a pale gray trench coat over a white dress shirt with a matching ascot, black pants and shoes, a pair of black gloves, and a black fedora. Personality

    Dohnaseek was shown to be somewhat of a battle maniac In the anime, Dohnaseek was shown to be somewhat arrogant, looking down on both Rias and Akeno who came to confront him and his allies History

    Not much was known about Dohnaseek, other than the fact that he sided with Raynare in her plot to steal Asia's Sacred Gear Light-Based Weapons: Dohnaseek could generate and throw light spears to kill Devils

22. #22Evil Pieces

    The Evil Pieces, also known as the Devil's Pieces (悪魔の駒, Akuma no Koma), are a set of 15 chess pieces given to High-class Devils to increase their ranks by reincarnating other beings into Devils

    The Evil Pieces were created by Ajuka Beelzebub sometime during the 16th century using the crystals available in the Agreas Island to help replenish the number of Devils after the Great War which had caused the death of countless Devils. While many Devils were able to adapt to the Evil Pieces, the Old Satan Faction rejected the usage of the Evil Pieces, believing them to be a disgrace to Devils for reincarnating Humans and other races into Devils. The creation of the Evil Pieces eventually lead to the creation of the Rating Game.[1]

    Evil Pieces are commonly given to Pure-blooded High-class Devils, so that they can gather servants of their own. Reincarnated Devils are also given the chance to receive Evil Pieces should they rise in rank and become a High-class or Ultimate-class Devil like Tannin and Rudiger Rosenkreutz.

    When a Devil receives the right to obtain the Evil Pieces they are required to go to the Satan's territory and touch a monument which functions as a replacement King Piece to register themselves as King.[2] A Devil who declines Evil Pieces can apply for them later. Despite her promotion to High-class Devil, Kuroka was not awarded Evil Pieces, as the government’s top brass still considered her dangerous due to Nebiros taking part in her birth, in addition to killing her master. If a King wishes to trade a Piece with another King, a ritual must be performed. A trading-purpose magic circle must be drawn. The Kings stand at the side of the magic circle while their pieces stand in the centre of it. The Kings increase their auras while putting their hands forward and activate the written Devil symbols to circulate. The auras of everyone around them begin to glow and synchronize, bypassing the magic circle. With that, the ritual will end and the trade is completed in a simple manner. A trade can still occur even if one of the pieces of the other party has not been used. It is also possible to trade multiple pieces simultaneously, even if they come from different peerages.

    Based on the game of chess, there are a total of 15 pieces (1 Queen ♛, 2 Rooks ♜, 2 Bishops ♝, 2 Knights ♞, and 8 Pawns ♟) that are given to High-class Devils (King ♚) with a peerage.[4] These pieces are used to reincarnate other beings into Devils and become servants of the High-class Devil.

23. #23Fallen Angels

    Fallen Angels are Angels that have fallen from the grace of God, due to having "impure thoughts" that divert them from the teachings of the God in the Bible. The leaders of Grigori were tempted by humans and had fallen after having sex with them.

    Despite being cast out of Heaven, Fallen Angels and their subordinates have been known to occupy churches and use them as bases. However, they go out of their way to destroy all of the religious icons in these churches in the process out of spite for their former leader.

    Currently, the Fallen Angels have the smallest population among the Three Factions.

    Fallen Angels have an appearance similar to their Angel counterparts with their wings; however, their wings are colored black as opposed to the Angels' white wings. Also, because they have been cast out of Heaven by God, they also lack the halos above their heads. They are also often seen wearing dark-colored clothes, mainly pertaining to the colors black and violet.

    Like their Angel counterparts, the power of a Fallen Angel also contribute to how many wings they have. For example, Azazel, the former leader of the Fallen Angels, has six pairs of wings (twelve altogether) which justify his power. This extends to half-Fallen Angels as Akeno gained more fallen angel wings as her power increased. The blackness of the wings of each Fallen Angel is also different. Azazel, for example, has jet-black wings with feathers that have the color of everlasting darkness. Female Fallen Angels possess seductive bodies in order to seduce men. This trait carries over to half-Fallen Angels, with Akeno's body considered particularly seductive. Although they have been cast out from Heaven, Fallen Angels retain the ability to use Holy Power and create Light Weapons. This type of weaponry is extremely harmful and poisonous to Devils, as it is shown many times when Issei is wounded by Dohnaseek and Raynare. Fallen Angels have the ability of flight via their feathered wings, their wings have also been shown to retract into their backs as if they've completely disappeared. The Fallen Angels can use the feathers of their wings as projectiles to pierce their opponents, with the feathers being as hard as steel and are also capable of using their wings for both offense and defense.

24. #24Fenrir

    Keys: Fenrir

    Fenrir is a member of the Vali Team previously affiliated with Khaos Brigade. He is a wolf that possesses giant fangs that can kill a God, Satan, and even a legendary Dragon. He was created by Loki, making him the oldest brother of both Midgardsormr and Hel, as well as the father of Sköll and Hati.Fenrir has the appearance of a giant wolf with ash grey fur, standing at about 10 meters tall. In Volume 11, his size has drastically decreased.

    Age: 1000+

    In the anime, Fenrir's fur was a greyish blue and he had two large yellow horns coming out of his shoulders. Personality

    Following his first appearance, Fenrir has been shown to be extremely loyal to his father and creator, Loki. After being subjugated by Excalibur Ruler & having his loyalty switched from Loki to Vali, Fenrir developed his own instinct, as well as gaining a strong attachment towards Le Fay Pendragon.

    In the short-story "Wolf's Emblem", he was the narrative voice and it was shown that he possessed self-awareness and human-like intelligence, though his way of thought was different than a normal human's. Even more so, he has a stronger sense of pride, having very high standards and low tolerance for those who are incompetent. He also has his own view of hierarchy within the Vali Team, in which he ranks Kuroka and Bikou at the bottom.

    Despite being known as the God-Devouring Wolf, the only Norse God he fears is Vidar.

    God Slayer: Fenrir's strongest and most infamous attribute, a forbidden technique in his fangs and claws, which can deal critical damage to powerful beings, such as Gods.

    Immense Strength: Fenrir is regarded as far more dangerous than his father Loki, an Evil God, and he is considered on par with the Heavenly Dragons before they were sealed. He was able to claw through Issei's Scale Mail with contemptuous ease, tear apart spatial distortions created by Vali's Half-Dimension with his jaws, easily overpower Tannin, a former Dragon King, and even Vali in his Juggernaut Drive was unable to defeat him. In fact, before losing most of his power, he was among the "Top 10 Strongest Beings in the World", comparable to or weaker than Typhon.[1][2] During the match against "Team Rias Gremory", it is revealed that Fenrir can transform back into his larger form, in which he can use 80% of his original strength.

    Immense Durability: Fenrir is extremely durable, able to fully take on the attacks of the Gremory Team, Vali Team, and Tannin without injury. Even after being bombarded by Rias Gremory in her Forbidden Invade Balor the Princess form, he was able to continue to fight against her without any problems despite his injuries.

    Immense Speed: Fenrir is able to move at god-like speeds, making him extremely dangerous when attacking with his fangs and claws. He was capable of easily dodging Rias Gremory's and Gasper Vladi's attacks.

25. #25Freed Sellzen

    Age 25 Freed Sellzen was a recurring antagonist in High School DxD. He was a stray exorcist who first allied with the Fallen Angels in Raynare's plot to steal Asia's Sacred Gear. Freed was a young man with short white hair and red eyes.

    As a priest, he was dressed in clerical clothing and often had a disturbing smile on his face.

    As a Chimera, he had a massive body, thick arms and legs, and sharp fangs coming out of his mouth. He also had a single bat wing and an extra arm coming out of his back.

    Freed was a psychopath and a battle maniac, he preferred violence over logic, spoke in a vulgar manner, and was somewhat insane. He killed monsters and Devils just for the sake of his own pleasure, and also had no qualms about murdering humans. Freed was also shown to be a pervert, as he once threatened to rape Asia for disobeying him and even asked Raynare to have sex with him in exchange for saving her from Rias. Holy Sword Wielder: After taking in the Light Container, Freed became capable of wielding Holy Swords, such as the Excalibur fragments.

    Expert Combatant: Freed was an extremely skilled combatant, able to master any weapon given to him.

    Master Swordsman: Freed was very skilled in swordsmanship, being able to fight equally against Kiba in their first encounter. He was also able to use the Fused Excalibur easily despite not being trained on how to use the Holy Sword beforehand. Enhanced Speed: Freed was faster than the average human. After being turned into a Chimera he ate both of Diodora's Knights and acquired all of their abilities, including presumably their combined speed.

    Absorption: After being transformed into a Chimera, Freed gained the ability to absorb the powers of other beings, which he did so by devouring Diodora's Knights. Equipment

    Light Sword: One of the two weapons Freed initially used. It created a blade made out of light.

    Light Gun: One of the two weapons Freed initially used. It shot special light bullets that are extremely dangerous to Devils.

    Excalibur (エクスカリバー, Ekusukaribā): During his alliance with Kokabiel, Freed wielded the Excalibur swords. Excalibur Rapidly (天閃の聖剣エクスカリバー・ラピッドリィ, Ekusukaribā Rapiddoryi): A sword that grants both the wielder and the blade enhanced speed. It was wielded by Freed Sellzen before being fused into a single sword. Excalibur Nightmare (夢幻の聖剣エクスカリバー・ナイトメア, Ekusukariā Naitomea): A sword that allows the wielder to cast illusions and manipulate dreams. It was wielded by Freed Sellzen before being fused into a single sword. Excalibur Transparency (透明の聖剣エクスカリバー・トランスペアレンシー, Ekusukaribā Toransupearenshī): A sword that allows the blade and its wielder to become invisible. It was wielded by Freed Sellzen before being fused into a single sword. Excalibur Mimic (擬態の聖剣エクスカリバー・ミミック, Eskukaribā Mimikku): A sword that is able to transform itself into any shape that the wielder desires. It was wielded by Irina Shidou and later, by Freed Sellzen before being fused into a single sword. Fused Excalibur: Formed by merging four of the Excalibur fragments (Excalibur Nightmare, Excalibur Transparency, Excalibur Mimic, and Excalibur Rapidly) into a single blade.     Gandoma Balam is Sairaorg's Rook from the House of Balam, one of the remaining families from the 72 Pillars. The trait of this household is having superhuman strength. Gandoma is an enormous man who is about 3 meters (around nine feet) tall. He has a muscular build and his arms and fingers are thick in size. His face resembles that of a monster rather than a human with his skin being tan in color. His eyes are pale blue-gray.

    Gandoma is extremely loyal to Sairorg like all of the members of Sairorg's peerage. History

    Not much is known about Gandoma, other than at some point before the series, he joined Sairaorg's peerage.

    Powers & Abilities

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Gandoma has all the common skills and powers of one. Immense Strength: As a member of the Balam Clan, Gandoma has natural superhuman strength, which was further increased through physical augmentation of a Rook Piece and further training, being able to defeat Koneko with a single strike even when he himself was on the verge of retirement.

    Immense Durability: As a Rook and a member of the Balam clan, Gandoma has incredible defense and durability, which has allowed him to withstand powerful physical attacks from Koneko Toujou in her Nekomata Mode Level 2 and even Rossweisse's Norse magic. Even after taking a full burst magic attack from Rossweisse while his aura was disrupted by Koneko, he managed to muster enough strength to take down Koneko.

    Magic Resistance: He has a very high resistance to magic attacks, even those from Rossweisse's powerful offensive magic, requiring Koneko to disrupt his aura with Senjutsu enhanced attacks for Rossweisse's magic to take full effect. Flight: Being a Devil, Gandoma can use his wings to fly. Equipment

    Rook Piece (戦車の駒, Sensha no koma): Gandoma was given the Rook Piece, which grants him enhanced offense and defense.

27. #27Gasper Vladi

    Gasper Vladi is one of the male protagonists of High School DxD. He is a cross-dressing male Dhampir, a half-Vampire half-human but was turned into a Devil by Rias Gremory. He has the ability to stop time and is Rias' first Bishop. Age 15

    Because his powers were uncontrollable prior to the series, he was sealed in the Academy by Rias and was not seen again until Volume 4 of the light novels. He is a second-year high school student at Kuoh Academy, alongside Koneko and Ravel. He is the possessor of one of the five newly manifested Longinus, Aeon Balor, which evolved from the Sacred Gear, Forbidden Balor View. Gasper is an effeminate-looking male with platinum blond hair and pinkish-violet eyes. His hair is styled in short bob cut with several small fringes over his forehead, and he has pointed ears. Kiba describes him as looking like a beautiful girl.

    Unlike the rest of the boys of Kuoh Academy who wear the boys' uniform, Gasper wears the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform with thigh-high socks, creating a Zettai Ryōiki (Japanese for "absolute territory"). Personality

    Originally a coward and a shut-in with a very shy personality, Gasper likes to wear female clothing, claiming that girls' clothes are cute. He also has a penchant for boxes, carrying one with him all the time. When Issei tried to give Gasper confidence, the former gave Gasper a paper bag to put over the latter's face. However, Issei comments that whenever Gasper puts the paper bag on, the latter looks like a molester.

    As the series progresses, with Issei and the Gremory group's encouragement, Gasper begins to gain confidence and bravery. When necessary, Gasper has displayed the ability to force down his timid nature and speak up as a man. On more than one occasion, he has demonstrated extreme courage and loyalty, going so far as to be beaten to unconsciousness in defense of his weakened comrades. Demonic Power: Gasper has all the powers and abilities common to Devils, including the power to cast spells.

    Enhanced Magic Power: As a Bishop, more so one who consumed a Mutation Piece, he can strengthen his demonic and magical powers.

    Dhampir Physiology: Being a Dhampir as well as one with rare Vampire abilities, Gasper has the ability to control bats and transform into a flock of them, usually using them for reconnaissance. Thanks to his human half, Gasper is immune to general Vampire weaknesses, but still feels some discomfort from them.

    Daywalker: Due to being Dhampir, Gasper is also a Daywalker, allowing him to survive contact with sunlight. Blood Consumption: Gasper can absorb other people's powers by drinking their blood, as shown when he drank Issei's blood, using Issei's Dragon power to boost his own, while allowing him to control Forbidden Balor View. Darkness Manipulation: Gasper can also manipulate shadows and darkness, though he initially had difficulty in controlling them adequately. This has changed, being able to freely extend and control his shadows. Gasper has shown the ability to change the shape of his shadow to suit multiple purposes, such as tentacles that can bind his opponents seemingly of their own will. Immense Strengthorbidden Balor View (停止世界の邪眼フォービドウン・バロール・ビュー, Fōbidoun Barōru Byū): Gasper's Sacred Gear and main weapon, which lets him stop anything and anyone within his field of vision in time. In the beginning, he couldn't control it without his vampire powers because its power continued to grow as time passed. Because Balor's consciousness and powers were sealed in it through the Sephiroth Graal, it can create and control a deep darkness that consumes anything, including the Dimension Lost's mist. Gasper can also switch perception with others, such as Issei on two occasions, letting him freeze Shalba and see whatever he sees Through transforming into multiple bats, he can also extend its range. Gasper's Sacred Gear would eventually be recognized as one of the five new Longinus, and renamed Aeon Balor (時空を支配する邪眼王, Aiōn Barōru), also known as The Evil-Eyed King Who Dominates the Space and Time.

28. #28Genshirou Saji

    Genshirou Saji is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-C, being the Academy's Student Council Vice-President and is Sona Sitri's Pawn. He is also in love with her. He is a friend and a rival of Issei Hyoudou.

    Age 18

    Saji is a young man with short blond hair and grey eyes. He wears the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, albeit without the blazer and his sleeves are rolled up. His height is [168 cm] and body weight is [61 kg].

    Because of Grigori's modifications, he has a [G] on his back. Personality

    ...I see, it’s obsession. A human’s obsession can be described as the most frightening thing... It’s been a long time since I’ve been exposed to such obsession. Even after reincarnating as a Devil, his will has remained so strong because he still retains the spirituality of being human.

    Saji's initial impression was someone who appeared arrogant and egotistic, as shown when he looked down on Issei and bragged about himself while unaware of Issei's capabilities. Saji has an overall personality similar to Issei's and is his parallel in the Student Council. He looks at Sona with the same lustful eyes which Issei looks at Rias with and he cares deeply for his comrades. Saji is also fiercely loyal to Sona, going as far as to say that Sona's dream is his dream and tries his best to help her fulfill her dream of building a Rating Game School that is open to everyone, regardless of status.

    His love and loyalty for Sona stems from her helping him resolve his financial difficulties in raising his siblings after his parents and grandfather passed away. Saji is also an extremely caring older brother towards his younger siblings Kaho and Gengo, having become their guardian after his grandfather's death. Demonic Power: Saji has all the powers and abilities common to Devils, including the power to cast spells. Through the use of Promotion, Saji can increase his demonic power. Saji and the Student Council were able to create a barrier around Kuoh Academy during Kokabiel's attack.

    Teleportation: Saji demonstrated the ability to teleport himself to any location. Immense Strength: Similar to Issei, at the beginning, Saji's strength was considered to be below average when compared to others. Due to his intense training since then, he could get into a proper fist fight against Issei outside his Balance Breaker, and was capable of hauling large objects with his Absorption Line as improvised weapons by smashing them into Issei. After training and gaining Balance Breaker, his strength has grown to where his powers matched a Dragon King. In Volume DX.4, he was able to fight with Issei in his Crimson Armor, which caused tremendous shock waves in the surroundings of the Rating Game.

    Immense Durability

    Vritra's Sacred Gears: Unique to Saji, he has a total of four Sacred Gears, each holding a piece of Vritra, one of the Five Dragon Kings, the Prison Dragon. His original one is Absorption Line, while the other three were acquired from Grigori. After undergoing modification surgery by Grigori, Vritra was awakened, in addition to attaining three additional abilities.

    Absorption Line ‖ Dragon King Vritra Saji launching a line with Absorption Line Absorption Line (黒い龍脈アブソーブション・ライン, Absōrpushon Rain): Saji's original Sacred Gear, taking form as a deformed lizard on his right hand. It has the ability to stretch out its tongue, attaching to and absorbing the power of whoever it is wrapped to, and was later stated as also being able to redistribute that power to others. These lines seem to have something of an intangible quality, seemingly protected from physical attacks alone, as even an Excalibur was unable to cut them, harmlessly passing through one, before it's user activated it's holy aspect. After training, it took the form of a black snake around his arm, and became able to create multiple lines instead of one, absorb blood from a target, transfer power into items and convert his life-force into demonic power. Saji can also use these lines to perform three-dimensional movements. Blaze Black Flare (邪龍の黒炎ブレイズ・ブラック・フレア, Bureizu Burakku Furea): His acquired Sacred Gear, which allows him to create and control black cursed flames that Loki couldn't extinguish, even to the event of his death, and Georg had to create an entire sub-dimension just to remove them from himself. Saji can also further increase the power of his physical attacks with the cursed flames. In his fight with Bedeze, he demonstrated the ability to reabsorb these flames if an enemy attempts to redirect them back at him. Delete Field (漆黒の領域デリート・フィールド, Derīto Fīrudo): His acquired Sacred Gear, which allows him to create an area where his opponent's powers is reduced until it vanishes. Shadow Prison (龍の牢獄シャドウ・プリズン, Shadō Purizun): His acquired Sacred Gear, which allows him to control black flames different from those of Blaze Black Flare, these being able to restrain his opponents or act like barriers. Vritra Promotion (龍王変化ヴリトラ・プロモーション, Vuritora Promōshon): A unique form, where he transforms into an enormous Eastern Dragon made of black flames, letting him use all four Vritra Sacred Gears at the same time.

29. #29Georg

    Age 19 Georg is the descendant of Johann Georg Faust, the man who made a pact with the legendary Devil, Mephisto Pheles and the sub-leader of the Hero Faction. He is the possessor of the Longinus: Dimension Lost. He's a young man with black hair and spectacles. Like Cao Cao, he wears a combination of a Japanese school uniform (more specifically, the gakuran is worn by Japanese schoolboys in the fall) and wears a mage-style robe over his uniform with a feathered cape. After his defeat against Gasper Vladi in Volume 12, Georg lost an eye, an arm, and his left leg is also damaged and colored in black. Personality

    Georg appears to be highly loyal to Cao Cao as he was following his orders and when he saved the latter following his defeat against Issei. Georg mentioned that his ancestor is so great it puts so much pressure on him.

    It is shown that Georg can become concerned about the strength of his opponents just like he witnessed Heracles's defeat at the hands of Sairaorg, stating that the Gremory group was growing fast and irregularly. He was shown to be somewhat of a coward when he found out that neither his Sacred Gear or magic couldn't do something against Gasper's darkness and tried to escape as fast as possible. Master Magician: Georg is said to be a high-level Magician capable of a diverse array of spells. He was able to use Le Fay's swapping teleportation magic technique from seeing it only once. His magic knowledge includes:

Though it has no offensive ability, once the mist reaches sufficient scale, it can transfer an entire country and its people into the Dimensional Gap to be destroyed.

    Gogmagog is the legendary giant of British folklore Gogmagog has the appearance of a giant stone statue that looks similar to a gargoyle. Personality

    Gogmagog seems to be unskilled in expressing emotions but does appear to be sentient, being capable of distinguishing between friend or foe and working together with its allies. History

    The Gogmagogs were originally a group of Golems that were created by the Ancient Gods to be used as mass-produced weapons of destruction. The Gogmagogs, however, were eventually abandoned by the Ancient Gods who deactivated all of them and abandoned them in the Dimensional Gap. After hearing from Ophis who once mentioned the discovery of a giant that could move in the Dimensional Gap, Vali and his teammates set out to look for the active Gogmagog

    Age Unknown

    Immense Strength and Endurance: As a Golem, Gogmagog has enormous strength and endurance. It was able to withstand the attack of Yu-Long without any damage.

    Weapon Transformation: Gogmagog can transform parts of its body into weapons, even those of the modern age.

    Machine Gun: Gogmagog can activate anti-monster machine guns equipped on both its arms to attack its enemies. Lazer Beams: From its eyes, Gogmagog can fire beams of light. According to Issei, these light beams are so powerful that even a Dragon King would not come out unscathed from them. Rocket Punch: Gogmagog can fire its huge fist and send it flying towards it targets. Jet Flight: Gogmagog can create jets from its back and legs to allow it to fly. Reconstruction: Even upon being destroyed, Gogmagog is able to rebuild its damaged body.

31. #31Gorou Hyoudou

    Keys: Mr Hyoudou, Gorou

    Age 38 Gorou Hyoudou (兵藤 五郎ひょうどう ごろう, Hyoudou Gorou) is an ordinary office worker. Gorou has the appearance of a middle-aged man with brown hair and brown eyes which his son inherited, as Issei is noted to resemble him. He is shown to wear glasses.

    He is shown to be exasperated with his son's lewd behavior as he worried that he wouldn't be able to become a grandfather due to Issei not finding a bride. Nevertheless, Gorou is shown to love his son very dearly, due to having to deal with the loss of his two previous unborn children with Miki to miscarriages, he did everything he could to ensure Issei was born safely when Miki was pregnant the third time and hopes he lives an honest life. He became happy with Issei's increasing popularity among girls and hopes to become a grandfather soon, as he has accepted the various girls that love Issei as his daughters-in-law. Like his son, Gorou is shown to be brave as he stood in front of Issei to protect him from Rizevim Lucifer when Issei was unsure if his parents loved him and when Gorou stood to protect Kunou, Ophis and Lilith from Thanatos' Grim Reapers. Mitsuya Kanzaki considers him a good father. Similar to Issei, Gorou had unbreakable determination as in the past while praying for Issei's safe birth, Gorou painstakingly prayed non-stop in a Shinto shrine during winter, while doing Hyakudomairi barefoot in the snow disregarding the cold.

    Despite criticizing Issei for his lewd behavior, it is revealed that Gorou is lewd himself, as he too dreamed of having a harem like Issei when he was younger and is proud of his son for being able to achieve that dream. He is also shown to have nosebleeds when he sees the girls doing lewd things for Issei, as he encourages Issei to make the girls his wives.

32. #32Grayfia Lucifuge

    Keys: Grayfia

    Grayfia Lucifuge is the wife and Queen of Sirzechs Lucifer and the mother of Millicas Gremory. She is also the older sister of Euclid Lucifuge and the sister-in-law of Rias Gremory. Grayfia is known as the Strongest Queen and the Silver-Haired Queen of Annihilation, and is the only member of Sirzechs' peerage who stayed behind after the events of the Evil Dragon War. Grayfia is a beautiful young woman with a voluptuous body, appearing to be in her early twenties with back-length silver hair that features a long braid on each side with small blue bows at the ends, while the rest is let down which ends in twin braids and red eyes (silver in the anime).

    While on her days off as a maid, Grayfia's normal outfit has few noticeable differences is that she looks younger, her eyes are red and she has a faded-pink scrunchy on her, as opposed to the blue maid outfit. Her outfit is a black shirt with golden-caramel accents at the edges of the shirt and spread horizontally near the bottom, with two light golden trims going down the shirt; and the shirt splits slightly above her stomach, exposing her midriff. Around her neck and shoulders is a long, cyan scarf made from light material that reaches her hips. Her jeans are blue, with a white outline at the top.

    In most of her appearances, she is seen wearing a blue and white French maid outfit with long sleeves and a white maid headband over her head with red lipstick as a cosmetic accessory.

    While participating in the Azazel Cup as "Bina Lessthan", Grayfia uses demonic power to change her appearance into a younger version of herself as a teenager and wears a dragon mask to conceal her identity. Personality

    As a Devil noble and the former heiress of the Lucifuge Clan, Grayfia is very strict and serious with a calm, dignified and refined personality, with perfect etiquette.

    As Sirzechs's wife and Queen, Grayfia is often exasperated by her husband. She also does not like admitting her relationship to Sirzechs while she is "on the job", to the point of pinching Sirzechs's face if he mentions it and denying it. Grayfia also has an issue where she becomes a "troublemaker" as stated by Azazel, who was told by Sirzechs, when she becomes drunk.

    Despite her serious personality, Grayfia is a very kind and wise young woman who deeply loves her family and enjoys doing her "job" as a maid of the Gremory Clan.

    As an older sister, Grayfia is very loving towards her younger brother Euclid and younger sister-in-law Rias though is also strict with them as she would sternly scold them for misbehaving, as she would often scold Rias for her selfish behaviour which cause trouble for her family in Devil Noble society due to having high expectations for her and frequently remind Rias of her responsibilities as the Gremory heiress as she tried to change Rias's flaws in order to make Rias a splendid Devil noble. Likewise, when Euclid committed terrorism and support Rizevim's dangerous ambitions out of blind loyalty towards the original Lucifer, Grayfia is harsh in reprimanding him during their reunion after centuries. Grayfia comes from the House of Lucifuge, a noble family of Pure-Blooded Devils from the Extra Demons, whose family served under the original Lucifer. Grayfia was originally from the Old Satan Faction that opposed the Anti-Satan Faction, where she stood in the front lines as one of the most powerful Devils. It was during that time that she met Sirzechs and fell in love with him. During the Devil Civil War, she would meet him in secret. The two of them married each other after the end of the conflict between the Old Satan Faction and the Anti-Satan Faction, eventually giving birth to a son. Their romance became a well-known romantic story among the young Devils and was even made into a movie.

    Powers & Abilities

    Immense Demonic Power: Even for an Ultimate-Class Devil, Grayfia is a highly powerful Devil. She's noted by Rias and Euclid to be one of the strongest Devils produced by the Old Satan Faction and is titled the Strongest Queen. Her power is stated to be on par with the Four Great Satans, having once fought evenly against Serafall for ten days in the Devil Civil War with neither able to gain an advantage and even Sirzechs, a Super Devil and the current Satan Lucifer, is terrified of his wife when she becomes angry. After the war, her power was further enhanced by the addition of Sirzechs Queen Piece. In Volume 25, with the support of Asia and initially Fafnir, she was able to fight evenly against Artemis.

    Transformation: Grayfia was able to use demonic power to appear the same age as a teenager, while under her alias, Bina Lessthan. Master Magician: Grayfia is highly skilled and talented in magic, enhanced by her demonic power and Queen Piece. In Volume 4, she was entrusted to analyze the transference magic circle used by Nilrem during Khaos Brigade attack on the Three Faction leaders. In Volume 22, she can create a red magic circle in the form of a dragon to fire a blast of tremendous energy that not even Armaros, an expert of anti-magic, can negate.

    Enhanced Offense and Defense: From the Rook trait of her Queen Piece, Grayfia has offensive and defensive enhancement, giving her enhanced strength and defense.

    Enhanced Magic Power: From the Bishop trait of her Queen piece, Grayfia can strengthen her magic and demonic powers.

    Enhanced Speed: From the Knight trait of her Queen piece, Grayfia has speed enhancement, increasing her speed. She was easily able to dodge Artemis' arrows during their fight.

    Flight: Being a Devil, Grayfia can fly using her wings.

    Master Chef: As part of her maid duties, Grayfia is highly skilled in cooking. Equipment

    Queen Piece (女王の駒, Joō no koma): Grayfia was given the Queen Piece, which grants her the attributes of a Rook, Bishop, and Knight.

33. #33Great Red

    Keys: Great Red

    Age “unknown” Great Red also known as the Apocalypse Dragon, the True Red Dragon God Emperor, True Dragon, and the Dragon of Dragons, was a powerful Dragon that resided in the Dimensional Gap. It was the dragon recorded in the Apocalypse. Great Red was a massive red Western Dragon with a horn on his snout and has two sets of wings. His overall length measures around 100 meters. He is the third-largest Dragon in the series, after Midgardsormr and Apophis. Personality

    Not much could be deduced on Great Red's personality, but Issei compared his personality to that of a biker gang delinquent, claiming that Great Red travelled around the Dimensional Gap doing crazy moves and got aggravated at people that were staring at him. History

    Similar to Ophis, Great Red was born in the Dimensional Gap from the "illusions" of "dreams". Not much is known aside from the fact that he soon took refuge there once Ophis left, becoming the counterstone maintaining that space since she changed from interacting with the Human World.

    Sometime before the series, Great Red was challenged by the then sixth Dragon King, Tannin, but ignored him. Powers & Abilities

    Dream Manipulation: As the God of Dreams, Great Red represents dreams in the past, present and future.[1] He was able to respond to Issei's strong wish to return home by responding to his dream and appearing before him, as well as reflecting the feelings of the children in the Underworld to Issei in the Dimensional Gap.

    Immense Strength: As a Dragon God, Great Red possess tremendous power, making him the most powerful of all dragon-kind alongside Ophis. His strength surpasses that of even the Two Heavenly Dragons, Gods from the various factions such as the Biblical God, even ignoring Tannin, an Ultimate-Class Devil and former Dragon King. A mere portion of his power, which was lent to Issei was enough to eliminate the Jabberwocky, a creature that allied forces led by Diehauser and Sirzechs' Peerage, all of which are considered monsters had trouble with, and erased a portion of the Underworld. Great Red is one of the lone beings who could rival Ophis, the Ouroboros Dragon before losing her powers, being equivalent or superior to Trihexa after getting serious, and a clash between them would destroy the world. Ryuuteimaru, who had manifested a portion of his powers by using AxA has enough strength to destroy an entire planet. Despite losing against him, Great Red proved a suitable challenge in battle against Regalzeva, the Fierce God of Evie Etoulde.

    Immense Durability: Like Ophis, being an existence of dreams, it can also be assumed that Great Red was nigh-invulnerable. This was further proven as Ophis herself didn't confront Great Red himself after he took refuge in the Dimensional Gap, then accepted help from the Khaos Brigade consisting of three High-Tier Longinus users and one Mid-Tier Longinus user, while Rizevim; a Super Devil, needed to awaken Trihexa in order to kill him. This doesn't mean that Great Red wasn't unaffected by everything, as a being such as the Dragon Eater could affect him; he, in fact, was effortlessly killed by Regalzeva, the Fierce God of Evie Etoulde.

    Body Creation: Great Red could create biological bodies, which are in perfect condition for others to inhabit, such as the case with Issei being given a new body made from his flesh. He was able to fuse with those who were made from his flesh like with Issei, resulting in the "Super Gigantic Balance Breaker", which was used to fight against the Jabberwocky.

    Flight: As a Dragon, Great Red could use its colossal wings to fly.

34. #34Hades

    Keys: Hades

    Age 9000+ Hades is the God of the Realm of the Dead. The main antagonist of Volume 11 and Volume 12, aiding Khaos Brigade's Old Satan Faction and Hero Faction behind the scenes in a scheme to destroy the Devils and Fallen Angels. He commands a legion of Grim Reapers. He later returns as one of the main antagonists of the last arc, as he forms the Alliance of Hell with the plan of eliminating the DxD team, Longinus users, chief gods of each mythology, and Ajuka Beelzebub. Hades has the appearance of a tall skeleton dressed in attire worn by high priests, gives off a creepy aura. Despite having no eyes, his eye sockets can glow to give the appearance of eyes. Personality

    Hades despises beings of other mythologies, especially Devils and Fallen Angels, believing that they are unnecessary beings, calling them bats (referring to the Devil's wings) and crows (referring to the Fallen Angel's wings). It is important to note that despite his hatred of the other mythologies, he is not an Evil God. His goal is to rid the world of these beings as he calls them an annoyance. Hades is also disgusted that Zeus is cooperating with the Three Factions. He seems to refer to reincarnated beings as "fakes", seen when he calls Dulio a "fake angel". Despite his hatred for devils, he is capable of showing kindness to his devil underlings as seen when he comforted Verrine after she and her team were defeated in the tournament.

    He acknowledge that the Longinus and Evie Etoulde are a threat to the world which must be eliminated hence why he formed an alliance with other gods that share his ideology believing their enough to protect the world.

    After suffering consecutive defeats at the hands of DXD, he contemplated that the world doesn’t wish for us, but for them. During the final battle despite knowing his defeat was near instead of running away he still continued to fight to the bitter end. History

    One of the Trinity Gods of Olympus, Hades is one of the Gods that have been active since the ancient times, ruling the Realm of the Dead. Powers & Abilities

    Immense Strength: As one of the "Top 10 Strongest Beings in the World", Hades has immense power superior to Poseidon and the Chief God, Zeus, to the point where even Azazel had informed his students to avoid him. Azazel surmised that he, Sirzechs (before unveiling his true form), and Dulio combined were still inferior to Hades. As a testament to his power, he could face Vali Lucifer in Diabolos Dragon Lucifer and Fenrir at 80% power. He was later able to challenge the entire Team DxD's combined attack consisting of Vali and Issei in their Diabolos Dragon forms, Tobio Ikuse, Cao Cao, Sairaorg Bael, Dulio Gesualdo, and Vasco Strada after pooling all of his remaining power.

    Immense Durability: Hades could withstand Vali's Satan Lucifer Smasher, and was still able to continue fighting, then took on a combined assault from Vali Lucifer and Issei Hyoudou in their Diabolos Dragon forms, enhanced using Ingvild Leviathan's Nereid Kyrie and all the members of Team DxD and still survived.

    Divine Aura: Hades can use his divine aura to enhance his magical attacks, which was so powerful that even Vali couldn't use his Reflect ability to redirect it back.

    Master Magician: Hades is a skilled user of magic.

    Sealing Magic: Hades is shown to have the ability to use restraining magic to restrain targets. He demonstrated the ability to restrain an 80% powered Fenrir with a powerful capture formula to prevent it from interfering in his fight with Vali. Teleportation Magic: Hades demonstrated the ability to teleport himself and others, as he attempted to teleport away after being cornered by Issei and Vali. Flight: Hades demonstrated the ability to levitate in the air during the events of True Volume 4. Skeleton Staff: Hades is seen holding a skeletal-shaped staff, which has three blue eyes and horns. The staff is used to enhance his divine aura, to the point to overwhelming Vali Lucifer's Reflect ability. After fully empowering his attacks with the power of his staff and divine aura, he was temporarily able to overwhelm Team DxD's combined attack.

    Book of Lucifer: A special tome Hades has obtained from Apophis. The book recorded in detail how the first-generation Lucifer and Lilith gave birth to Devils, and even the reason why the mother of Devils had become a block of flesh.

    The Underworld is roughly the same size as the Human world, but with a much larger landmass, as there are no oceans, just lakes.The sky was originally purple during both the day and night, but the current Four Great Satans adjusted the flow of time to match it in the human world for the sake of the reincarnated Devils. They reproduced an artificial moon using Demonic Power and made the night's darkness the same as the human world.

    The Underworld was originally split into two regions: The Devils' Region and the Fallen Angels' Region, which ended in Volume 4 after the creation of the peace treaty between the leaders of the Three Factions.

    Lucifaad The original Capital of the Underworld and the Satan territory ruled by the original Lucifer before the four New Satans took office as the second generation Satans.

    In the past, the children of the first Satans and their blood relatives lived there and at the Amphitheater, there was a “meeting between young Devils” which was attended by all of the 72 Pillars, but usually served as a way of the Satan descendants to show off their authority among the lower classes of Devils. It is also the place where Sirzechs Gremory defeated and killed Bidleid, thus ending the civil war in the final battle between the Satan and the Rebel army.

36. #36Heracles

    Keys: Heracles

    Age 30 Heracles is a two-meter tall man with a well-built body and has shoulder-length gray hair. He wears what appears to be an attire of a Japanese school uniform (more specifically, the gakuran uniform generally worn by Japanese schoolboys in the fall), covered by what could possibly to be Greek-inspired armor. Personality

    Heracles is shown to be arrogant, overconfident, brutal, stubborn, assertive, and pugnacious. Heracles loves battles and takes great pride and confidence in his name and his skills. He often has a tendency to look down upon his opponents, as shown when he claimed that a "defect" like Sairaorg cannot possibly defeat him just because Sairaorg can't use any special demonic powers. He also has no qualms in employing dirty tricks to defeat his opponents like when he attacked a bus with children in it, all in order to defeat the Sitri group.

    However, after his defeat at the hands of Saioraorg Bael and his punishment of being forced to look after Devil kindergarden children, his personality had undergone a significant change. He lost his arrogance and other negative qualities as he became more determined to increase his own strength and win against Sairaorg in a fight to overcome his past defeat. But his most significant change in character was the fact that he started to care deeply about children after spending time protecting them and looking after them. This is seen in his match against Sairaorg, where Heracles was able to get up after being knocked down by Sairaorg after being cheered on by the Devil children as well as increasing his own power. Heracles is shown to often play with the various supernatural children such as the Youkai children in Kyoto by dressing up as characters from Oppai Dragon. Immense Strength: Heracles possesses a remarkable amount of strength for a Human. As of DX.4, he has become much stronger as he could fight on par with Sairaorg Bael. The latter acknowledged he needed to use Regulus Nemea's Balance Breaker to defeat Heracles.

    Immense Durability: Heracles is shown to have a great level of endurance and he is able to take a punch from Sairaorg covered in Touki and continued to fight despite the intense pain. In his rematch, due to further training, his defense has increased enough to be able to withstand a punch from Sairaorg that knocked him down before.

    Magic Resistance: During his fight with Rossweisse, Heracles has shown that he has a high resistance to magic and magical attacks as he was able to tank Rossweisse's full magic assault with little to no damage. Immense Speed: Heracles has shown to be highly fast. He was capable of evading most of Sairaorg in his Balance Breaker.

    Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Heracles is shown to have great skills in hand-to-hand combat, being able to fight on par with Sairaorg in their second fight as well as hold his own after Sairaorg used Balance Breaker. Heracles can also coat his physical attacks with Variant Detonation. Equipment

    Variant Detonation (巨人の悪戯バリアント・デトネイション, Barianto Detoneishon): Heracles' Sacred Gear that builds up a glowing aura around the wielder's body that has the ability to explode the same time its wielder physically attacks. Detonation - Mighty Comet (超人による悪意の波動デトネイション・マイティ・コメット, Detoneishon Maiti Kometto): Variant Detonation's Balance Breaker. The aura around the wielder's body glows, transforming into numerous missile-like objects, ready for the wielder to discharge them towards its enemies at a moment's notice. In Volume DX.4, he discarded the ability to create missiles in favor of increasing the destructive power of his Balance Breaker, that was able to damage Sairaorg in his Balance Breaker which Heracles was unable to do before.

    Holy Element, also known as Holy Factor, is the factor which grants anyone the ability to wield the Holy Swords.

    The Holy Element displayed has a bizarre diamond shape to it and has a dark shade of blue and indigo on its outside. The inside is a distorted color when it contains the holy properties of a person which can be either pink, purple, yellow, or green. Summary

    The Holy Element is the factor that enables Humans to wield Holy Swords, although only those with the proper "numerical value." Valper Galilei discovered this during the Holy Sword Project, and then removed, gathered and crystallized the holy properties of countless Human victims in order to create artificial Holy swordsmen who were capable of wielding even the strongest Holy Swords in existence like Excalibur.

    Ascalon is a Holy Sword previously wielded by Saint George, the Dragon-killing Saint. Unlike the other Holy Swords, Ascalon specializes in killing Dragons and is named the Dragon Slayer

    The known Excaliburs are Excalibur Destruction, Excalibur Mimic, Excalibur Rapidly, Excalibur Nightmare, Excalibur Transparency, Excalibur Blessing, and Excalibur Ruler. The Excalibur Swords were fused into the Durandal and later split from it and merged into the True Excalibur. Durandal is a Holy Sword that was previously wielded by the Paladin of the Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne: Roland. Roland had used the sword to fight an army of 100,000 men. It is a Holy Sword that is said to be on par with the original Excalibur. Holy Swords are known to be one of the creations of Gods, but there are those who reached the domain of God who created some of the most renown Holy Swords through using Magic and Alchemy, which resulted in the creation of "true" Holy Swords wielded by legendary heroes such as the original King Arthur wielding Caliburn and the True Excalibur, and Roland with Durandal.

    There are also Holy Swords in factions such as Japan, but these are commonly referred to as Holy Spirit Swords, like the Totsuka no Tsurugi and Ame no Murakumo no Tsurugi.

    In the current era, there are modern recreations of Holy Swords by the Church's Alchemists such as replicas of Excalibur and Durandal, though these are greatly inferior in terms of overall power. By Volume 23, more powerful recreations of legendary Holy Swords are created due to the Church's Alchemists using technique of the Three Factions, including Fallen Angels and Devils, such as Durandal II which power rivalled the original Durandal.

    For one to be capable of wielding a Holy Sword, they must possess a high amount of Holy Element in their bodies. However, natural Holy Sword wielders only appear once in a decade. There are methods to create artificial Holy Sword wielders, such as through a special blessing ceremony to place the Holy Element into them,and to transfer the Holy Element from one person to another. However, the process is not always successful, as some people are incapable of adapting to the Holy Swords. In extreme situations, those who are unable to adapt to the Holy Element can suffer death. In addition to their Holy Powers, which is extremely lethal against Devils and creatures of darkness, as well as Fallen Angels, all Holy Swords, especially the strongest ones such as Caliburn and Durandal holds immense offensive power.

    Almost all Holy Swords, especially those created by the Biblical God, grants their wielder unique mystical abilities similar to Sacred Gears, such as the Strongest Holy Sword Caliburn granting its wielder the power to manipulate space and the True Excalibur providing their wielder seven different abilities (shapeshifting, invisibility, subjugation, illusions, enhanced speed, and massive destructive force). As shown by Yuuto Kiba's usage of Durandal, certain Holy Swords can also change depending on the wielder

39. #39Hyoudou Residence/house

    The Hyoudou Residence is the home of Issei Hyoudou and his parents. It would later become a base of operations for the allied factions in Volume 5, following the appearance of the Khaos Brigade.

    After its renovation, it also became the home for almost all the current and former female members of the Occult Research Club, the female members of the Vali Team: Kuroka and Le Fay Pendragon, the Princess of the Kyoto Youkai: Kunou, the envoy of the Camilla faction: Elmenhilde Karnstein, the angel Lint Sellzen and the Dragon God: Ophis, and her spawn: Lilith. The Hyoudou Residence was originally a normal two-story terrace house with a light blue exterior, a balcony on the second floor, and a brown roof. It would later be renovated by the Gremory Clan in Volume 5 of the light novels into a large, six-story house with three large basements. First Floor: Includes the living room and kitchen. Second Floor: Includes Issei's room, Asia's room, Rias' room, Issei's parents' room, and a bathroom.

    First Floor: Includes guest rooms, the living room, kitchen, a bathroom, and Japanese-styled rooms (washitsu).[11] Second Floor: Includes Issei's, Rias', and Asia's rooms, with Issei's room being in the middle. It has two interconnecting doors on each side: one connecting to Rias' room and one connecting to Asia's room.[11] Third Floor: Includes Issei's parents' room, a study, and a storeroom.[11] Fourth Floor: Includes Akeno's, Xenovia's, and Koneko's rooms.[11] Fifth Floor: Not much is known about the fifth floor as of yet, probably includes Irina's, Rossweisse's and Ravel's rooms. Sixth Floor: Originally an empty floor, the top floor was converted into a meeting room for the Three Factions (also known as the VIP Room). Rooftop: The rooftop is a communal garden decorated with flower plots and there is a small vegetable farm planted. There is also a table and chairs to drink tea at. The rooftop is also home to Ophis' shrine which is located at the corner of the rooftop, which she can use for sunbathing.[12] First Basement Floor: Includes a movie theater, training rooms, changing rooms, and a large indoor bath which has a refrigerator filled with three different flavors of milk (fruit milk, regular milk, and coffee milk). A hidden room on this floor also becomes Kuroka's and Le Fay's room. The second hidden room also contains an assortment of baths of various sizes, but are noticeably larger than the first and are decorated gorgeously with ornate patterns, tropical plants, Dragon statues pouring water into the bath, and the Gremory's symbol. Second Basement Floor: Includes a heated indoor swimming pool. Third Basement Floor: A mostly vacant floor that is generally used for storage. It also includes a library. All floors in the renovated house are accessible via an elevator. There appear to be hidden rooms in the residence due to the designer of the house having a fondness for hidden rooms. Two of such are located in a corner that leads to a dead end on the first basement floor and at the corner of the bath. The other hidden rooms have yet to be discovered.

40. #40Ile and Nel

    Keys: Ile and Nel, Nel, Ile

    Ile and Nel are two of Riser Phenex's Pawns. Ile and Nel are two very young girls with turquoise hair, which they keep tied to one side of their head with a yellow ribbon (opposite to their sister), and blue eyes. Both of their outfits consist of gym uniforms, which consist of white t-shirts with blue accents, black tight spats, and blue sneakers over knee-high socks, similar to the Kuoh Academy's girls' gym uniforms, albeit without the logo. They also wear an orange wristband on their left wrist. Both of their chainsaws are colored blue, but they carry them in different-colored gym bags when not in use (Ile carries a blue bag, while Nel carries a red bag)

    Age both 13 Personality

    Despite their innocent appearance, Ile and Nel are very dangerous and will cut down their opponents without a second thought, taking a playful amusement while chasing their target to do so. However the twins have demonstrated a habit of underestimating their opponents which in their fight with Issei resulted in their humiliating defeat History

    Not much is known about Ile and Nel, other than at some point before the series, they were revived as Devils by Riser Demonic Power: As a Devils, both girls have all the common skills and powers of one.

    Fire: Ile and Nel can emit flames from their chainsaws

    Chainsaws: Ile and Nel's primary weapons[1].

    Pawn Piece (兵士の駒ポーンのこま, Heishi no koma): Ile and Nel were reincarnated using a Pawn Piece, which initially doesn't grant any special abilities like the other Evil Pieces, but which possesses the ability to use Promotion to gain the abilities of other Evil Pieces.

    Promotion: Being Pawns, Ile and Nel can use Promotion to temporarily gain the traits of a Queen, Rook, Knight or Bishop.

41. #41Ingvild Leviathan

    Keys: Ingvild Leviathan

    Ingvild Leviathan is one of the descendants of the original Leviathan and the Queen of Issei Hyoudou's peerage. She is the possessor of the Longinus; Nereid Kyrie. Ingvild is a beautiful foreign girl who appears to be in her late teens with a "whimsical aura." She has long purple hair and orange eyes.

    She wears a white dress typical of female noble Devils that exposes much of her large breasts, with high slits and long sleeves. She also wears a black mini skirt.

    After joining Issei’s peerage and becoming a student at Kuoh Academy, Ingvild now wears a female school uniform with long purple socks. Personality

    Ingvild is a kind and friendly person and enjoys singing as is shown when she sings at the fountain and for Issei and his group. Ingvild is also shown to love seeing the ocean and going on beaches with her friends. Unlike her fellow members of the Leviathan clan or any other descendants of the original Satans and akin to Vali, she doesn’t have any fanatic arrogance in her heritage as a Satan's descendant nor does she desire world domination like Katerea and the other descendants with the exception of Vali.

    She quickly fell in love with Issei, as it was revealed by her song in the battle against Nyx. She is even shown to be a little jealous of Issei's relationship with his harem such as when she and the other girls caught him with Akeno and Koneko, even thinking about acting like them despite considering it embarrassing. She also appears to be quiet, shy and soft-hearted. She can be very observant, remembering what Meredith said to Issei before she attacked him when the other characters were preoccupied with discussing Issei's condition.

    As noted by Issei once the two had gotten to know one another, despite Ingvild's exceptional talent, she still works hard for the sake of her friends, putting others before herself.

    Immense Demonic Power: As a descendant of the original Leviathan, Ingvild has impressive demonic powers, which according to Rossweisse's measurements is equal to a Satan-Class Devil or higher, being that her demonic power could resist against the brainwashing magic cast on her by Nyx. Despite having little to no practice, she has impressive control of her demonic power, being able to summon a total of ten thirty-meter water dragons, which each released an impressive aura. Rossweisse noted that she is naturally talented in controlling her powers. During training Roygun noted that her strength lies largely in the fact that she can use her enormous amount of aura to compete with almost any opponent on an offensive basis. After receiving the relic of the original Leviathan her abilities were further enhanced. Issei likens her to a female Vali in terms of talent inherited from the original Satans.

    Sea Serpent of the End (掉尾の海蛇龍, Tōbi no Umihebi Ryū) : As a descendant of the Leviathan Clan, Ingvild can control the sea and draw large amounts of water. At full power, she's capable of summoning floods, drowning whole cities and creating a snake-shaped Dragon made of water. Originally, Ingvild wasn't able to use this ability but gained access to it after coming into possession of the relic of the original Leviathan. Elemental Demonic Power: Ingvild specializes in the water element, which she can use to create ten or more enormous water dragons and other constructs. Her power is also capable of nullifying or overpowering the elemental powers of others. Defensive Magic: She has been shown to be able to use a multi-layered defensive magic circle built with her vast demonic power. Teleportation

42. #42Irina shidou

    Irina Shidou (紫藤 イリナしどう イリナ, Shidō Irina) is one of the many female protagonists of High School DxD and the childhood friend of Issei Hyoudou.

    Age 18

    Irina is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and is a devout Christian who, even after learning of God's death, still follows his teachings. She is later reincarnated as an Angel by the Archangel Michael, through one of the Brave Saints, her ranking among his peerage being "Ace Of Spades". She is also one of Issei's fiancées. Irina is a beautiful young woman with violet eyes. She has long chestnut hair that is usually tied into twintails, each held with a blue scrunchy, but on some occasions, she lets her hair down. Her body measurements are B87-W59-H89 cm [B34-W23-H35 in]; height is 164 cm (5 feet 4 inches) and body weight is 56 kg.

    She wears the standard Church battle attire, same as Xenovia's with some slight differences. After transferring to Kuoh Academy and moving into the Hyoudou Residence, she starts wearing the Kuoh Academy girls' school uniform, with black short shorts under her skirt and the addition of white sneakers with blue accents.

    Following her Angelization by Michael, she wears a red "A" printed on her right hand, symbolizing her position as Michael's Ace. Irina also gained white Angel wings and a halo, as of Volume 17, she has a total of 4 wings. Personality

    Irina is a cheerful, carefree, upbeat, and enthusiastic person. She is also shown to be cooperative and open-minded to others as she is seen with Arthur Pendragon discussing Excalibur Ruler, although he stated that the location is secret.

    She is a fiercely devout Christian, even more so than Xenovia, showing great respect for God's teachings. During her first appearance, she was very harsh towards those whom she perceived as an opposition to her religion. This was demonstrated by how she and Xenovia treated Asia Argento when they first met, as well as her reaction to Xenovia becoming a Devil. The death of God of the Bible was a great shock for Irina, yet she still believes in his teachings and transferred her belief to Michael who is the current "God". Irina later became close friends with Asia and the rest of the Occult Research Club members, even joining the ORC herself.

    As noted by Michael, in addition to her strong Christian faith, Irina is innocent, honest, respectful, and friendly, the traits which he valued and also the reason he chose her to be his Ace.

    Irina began experiencing "impure thoughts" around Issei; her Angel wings start to flicker from white to black indicating that she is about to "fall" from her status as a true Angel to a Fallen Angel if she gives in to her desires. She is shown to be very sensitive to and annoyed about being called "self-proclaiming". After kissing Issei, she becomes bolder in her relationship with him, as she becomes slightly less concerned about "falling" in order to show her love for him. This has also caused her to become perverted herself, as she has no qualms by being with Issei, even desiring to have sex with him. Irina's family lineage is related to the church, and her father being a pastor and exorcist of the Protestant Church and possessing a currently unidentified Holy Sword.[1] She is Issei's childhood friend who was under the impression that she was a boy, due to appearing quite tomboyish, and they were close friends who used to play together. At some point, she kissed him while he was sleeping at her house. She later left Japan and went to England with her family, due to her father's job, where she trained to become an exorcist of the Protestant Church.

    Three years prior at age 14, Irina was granted the ability to wield Holy Swords via a Holy Element and was given Excalibur Mimic, thus following in her father's footsteps. Soon after, she was eventually partnered with Xenovia, where they undertook a mission to slay the stray Vampire from the House of Manthar.

    At some point in time, she crossed blades with a knight from Riser Phenex's Peerage named Karlamine

    Light Power: As an Angel, Irina has the ability to use Light Powers to create various effects.

    Light-Based Weapons: As an Angel, Irina is able to create Light-based weapons such as Light Swords. In the anime, she has shown to be able to use light halos that wrapped about her foes of remarkable power and size such as one of Fenrir's sons. In Volume DX.4, Irina created a move, which creates rings of light that homes in on her opponents and radiates light. In Volume 25, she made a whip of light that imitates Excalibur Mimic. Artificial Holy Sword Wielder: After taking in the Light Container, Irina became an artificial Holy Sword user, being able to wield Excalibur Mimic and later Hauteclere.

    Enhanced Speed: While she can't match up to the likes of Yuuto Kiba, Irina is still noticeably fast due to her training as an Exorcist as she dodged Jeanne's attacks with ease.

    Enhanced Luck: Due to also receiving Ophis' blessing, Irina gained improved luck, gaining second place in a lottery.

    Master Swordswoman: Like Xenovia, Irina is well versed in swordsmanship, specialized in tricky movements that makes use of her speed, being able to fight on par with Jeanne during their first encounter. By Volume 19, Irina's swordsmanship skills became great enough being able to keep up against Ewald Cristaldi wielding a replica of Excalibur. Tomoe Meguri admitted that Irina's swordsmanship is on a whole different level.

43. #43Isabela

    Keys: Isabela

    Isabela is a voluptuous woman with short, light brown hair and grey eyes. Her hair has three red highlights across, and wears a plain white mask which covers the right side of her face. Her outfit consists of a black jacket and matching jeans. The jacket has wide shoulders and a wide collar, and features three leather straps on both her arms. It is also slightly open, revealing her rather-large breasts and cleavage, and it is cut off at her midriff. Her jeans have a section (on her right pant leg) cut off, revealing some of her thighs and rear end, and also features three leather straps on her calves, just below the ankles, and two extra straps on her right pant leg to keep it in place. She also wears black fighting gloves and boots to enhance her blows. Personality

    Like the rest of the members of Riser's peerage, Isabela is loyal to Riser and will carry out the orders given by him. Unlike most of the other members, however, she has shown to be respectful and cordial to opponents that have defeated her such as Issei. History

    Not much is known about Isabela, other than at some point before the series, she was revived as a Devil by Riser. Plot

    The Red Dragon Emperor's Awakening

    Isabela first appears in Volume 2 at the Occult Research Club, when Riser introduces his peerage to Rias after the two of them decide to have a Rating Game. During the Rating Game, Isabela fought against Issei, losing to the latter after Issei used Dress Break to strip off her clothes and blasts her with a (second) Dragon Shot.

    Age 19

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Isabela has all the common skills and powers of one.

    Enhanced Strength: Befitting a Rook, Isabela possesses high strength, her attacks were strong enough to push Issei back a bit, needing to boost his powers until he rivals a High-Class Devil to defeat her.

    Enhanced Durability: As a Rook, Isabela has high defenses.

    Enhanced Speed: Despite being a Rook, she is noted to be rather quick on her feet, often emplying footwork into her fighting style.

    Expert Hand-to-Hand Combatant: Isabela is noted to be well-versed in a fighting style resembling Boxing, using punches and kicks, in addition to flicker jabs against Issei, who was barely managing against her.[1] In their rematch, she improved enough to where she could handle fighting against Issei donned in his Scale Mail. Equipment

    Anti-Magic Mask: For unknown reasons, Isabela wears a mask that covers the right side of her face, which has some kind of anti-magic spell added onto it, remaining intact despite Isabela being hit by Issei's Dress Break twice.

    Rook Piece (戦車の駒, Sensha no koma): Isabela was reincarnated using the Rook Piece, which grants her enhanced offense and defense.

44. #44Issei Hyoudou

    Issei Hyoudou (兵ひょう藤どう 一誠いっせい, Hyōdō Issei) is the main male protagonist of High School DxD. He is a third-year high school student at Kuoh Academy in Class 3-B and a member of the school's "Perverted Trio", a trio of the most perverted men in the entire student body. He likes the other girls but love’s Rias

    Issei is the Pawn of Rias Gremory's Peerage and a member of the Occult Research Club. After the Evil Dragon War, he was promoted to the rank of a High-Class Devil, becoming the King of his own independent peerage, and is one step closer to fulfilling his dream of having a harem and becoming a "Harem King".

    Due to his possession of the Longinus; the Boosted Gear, which hosts the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig, Issei is the direct rival of Vali Lucifer, who is the host of the Vanishing Dragon; Albion, who is Ddraig's archrival.

    Issei is a high school student of average height with short spiky brown hair, with two short locks of hair behind his head, and light brown eyes. Following his training with Tannin, he gained a more muscular and toned build.

    While he has worn various outfits throughout the series, his most commonly worn outfit is the Kuoh Academy boys' school uniform, which consists of a blazer (more commonly black, although in other media is shown with a tinge of purple or grey, with white accents) over a white, long-sleeved dress shirt with black highlights with a black ribbon on the collar, matching black pants, and brown dress shoes. However, Issei's uniform differs in the fact that he wears a red T-shirt underneath his open dress shirt and blazer, and wears blue and white sneakers in place of dress shoes. Even by his own admittance Issei is an unintelligent and straightforward individual, with his tremendously perverted and lascivious nature being the greatest characteristic of his personality. Issei easily indulges in lewd fantasies, being obsessed with female breasts and a desire for a harem, traits he openly admits and makes no effort to hide, a characteristic that he is, in fact, proud of. This has caused him to be instantly labeled as a pervert among the girls of Kuoh Academy and has gained him notoriety for being one of the members of Kuoh Academy's Perverted Trio.

    Despite his pervertedness, Issei is courageous, selfless and unwaveringly determined to protect those who are important to him, despite almost dying by the hands of his opponents.

    Age 18

    Dragon Shot (魔力弾ドラゴンショット, Doragon Shotto): One of Issei's signature moves, where he releases a beam of concentrated Demonic Power. It is often used in tandem with Boosted Gear to increase its destructive potential, once destroying a mountain. When enhanced by the Boosted Gear Scale Mail, Issei's Dragon Shot became powerful enough to casually "erase" a mountain, and when enraged it overwhelmed a full powered demonic power blast by Diodora, a High Class Devil enhanced by Ophis's snake. Issei can go into his limit break mode upgrading his strength with a crimson like dragon armor.

    Boosted Gear (赤龍帝の籠手ブーステッド･ギア, Būsuteddo Gia): Issei's Sacred Gear and main weapon, among all the original 13 Longinus, which holds the Welsh Dragon, Ddraig's soul, making it a Mid-Tier Longinus. A left-handed red gauntlet that doubles his powers every 10 seconds until he reach his limit, holding the potential to kill god if mastered. He later gained the ability to Transfer the multiplied power into a person or item, even parts like his eyes for enhanced vision. Issei later awakened Penetrate, letting him bypass all defenses (save the targets baseline physical durability) like Rizevim's Sacred Gear Canceler or barriers. He later developed a technique of applying Penetrate to his eyes to see through women's clothing. Dragon Aura: Due to possessing Boosted Gear, then having his left arm turned into a dragon, Issei has a small amount of dragon aura. Training with Tannin increased it, to the point of dealing minimal damage while using Boosted Gear. After gaining a new body, made from a combination of Great Red's flesh and Ophis' power, it became more natural, described as being dominant. Pailingual (乳語翻訳パイリンガル, Pairingaru): Issei's third signature move, which allows him to "talk" to women's breasts after creating a "space". As such, it is a useful move as it allows him to learn his opponents' plans by asking their breasts, however, complaints from females from other peerages caused Rias to ban it in Rating Games. Dress Break (洋服崩壊ドレス・ブレイク, Doresu Bureiku): Issei's second signature move, which he mainly uses against women. As its name suggests, this move allows him to "strip" woman by first coming into contact with them, concentrating his demonic power, then snapping his fingers to activate one of two effects. He can fly,has immense mobility,Speed,Strength and durability, and a expert close combatant and sword fighter.

    Keys: Jeanne

    Age 17 Jeanne is a member of the Hero Faction. She carried the spirit of the Maiden of Orleans, Joan of Arc. Jeanne is a beautiful young foreign woman with blonde hair and sky blue eyes. She wears a girl gakuran, with armor worn on top of it. Personality

    Jeanne has a very cheerful and childlike personality, she also calls people by nicknames that she comes up with, calling Siegfried "Sieg-kun" and Irina "Angel-chan." Jeanne has also shown that she is willing to use underhanded means to win or survive like when she kidnapped a Devil child to prevent Akeno, Xenovia, and Irina from attacking her.

    After being defeated during the Monster Crisis incident and working as a cook in the Vatician as punishment, she shown significant changes of her personality like her fellow members of the Hero Faction she shown remorse for her past actions. History

    Not much is known about Jeanne, other than at some point before the series, she was asked by Cao Cao to join the Hero Faction. Master Swordswoman: Jeanne is well versed in swordsmanship, being able to fight on par with Irina during their first encounter. Jeanne skills are great enough to able to keep up against Irina, Akeno in her Fallen Angel Mode and Xenovia wielding Ex-Durandal. With further training and experience, she could defeat many artifical High-Class Devil with a Holy Sword rapier.

    Enhanced Speed: While she can't match up to the likes of Yuuto, Jeanne is still noticeably fast for a human, shown when she dodges Irina's light attack with ease.

    Master Chef: Jeanne has a flair for cooking, after being force to worked an apprentice cook for an exorcist training institution in the Vatician, she became a very efficient chef, as exorcists enjoyed her flawed yet delicious food. Her cooking skills could match Tobio and Yuuto in a cooking competition. Blade Blacksmith (聖剣創造ブレード・ブラックスミス, Burēdo Burakkusumisu), also known as Holy Sword Creation (聖剣創造, Seiken Sōzō), is Jeanne's Sacred Gear. The Blade Blacksmith has the ability to create an arsenal of numerous Holy Swords of different attributes and abilities. Jeanne can also create the blades of these swords on any surface within her limited area. Rapier: Jeanne create a rapier type Holy Sword as her personal weapon, which is powerful enough to deflect Irina's light attacks and clash with her light sword. With further training and experience, Jeanne's Holy Sword became strong enough to defeat artificial High-Class Devil. Stake Victim Dragoon (断罪の聖龍ステイク・ビクティム・ドラグーン, Suteiku Bikutimu Doragūn), also known as Holy Dragon of Judgement (断罪の聖龍, Danzai no Seiryū), is Jeanne's Subspecies Balance Breaker. It creates a large Dragon made of Holy Swords. Jeanne is still able to create holy swords while using this Balance Breaker. Her Holy Sword Dragon is powerful enough to easily kill High-Class Devils as shown when the Stake Victim Dragon easily exterminated many artificial Devils who all possess demonic power of a High-Class Devil in True Vol. 3.

    Chaos Break (Formerly): A special doping for Sacred Gear made from the blood of the original Satans, created by the Hero Faction with the help of the Old Satan Faction. It allows Jeanne to transform into a Lamia-like form make of Holy Swords.

46. #46Kalawarna

    Keys: Kala, Kalawarna

    Kalawarna was a Fallen Angel who allied herself with Raynare in her plot to steal Asia Argento's Sacred Gear. Kalawarna was a tall and buxom woman with brown eyes and long, navy blue hair that obscured her right eye.

    Age 21

    Her attire consisted of a maroon, trenchcoat-like top with a wide collar, a matching miniskirt, and black heeled shoes. The trenchcoat top was open at her chest, giving view to her breasts and cleavage. She also wore a gold necklace around her neck. She appears to wear a white shirt underneath her top, but it can only be seen from the bottom. Personality

    Kalawarna was shown to be an arrogant and no-nonsense woman with a tendency to look down on her opponents. She is quite sadistic and shows no mercy towards her opponents. She also appears to be quite loyal to their leader, Azazel. She is also a cruel and manipulative cynic. History

    Not much was known about Kalawarna, other than the fact that she sided with Raynare in her plot to steal Asia's Sacred Gear.

    Light-Based Weapons: Kalawarna can create and throw light spears to kill Devils.

    Flight: Being a Fallen Angel, Kalawarna can fly using her wings.

47. #47Karlamine

    Keys: Karlamine

    Karlamine is a young woman with light brown hair and green eyes. Her outfit consists of a full set of silver armor with black accents that appears to be a cross between a European Knight (her chest plate, gauntlets and greaves) and a Japanese Samurai (her hip plates and shoulder guards), and wears a headband that goes across her hair and forehead. She is equipped with a broadsword and a dagger, both of which are held with brown belts slung across her hip. The broadsword is slung on her left hip, and features a red jewel on the pommel and has bandages across the handle for grip. The dagger, which is located behind her hip, features a gold hilt with bandages on the handle. Personality

    A female warrior who follows the code of honor of a knight. She also comes off as a bold person, coming out in the open and demanding a proper challenge from her opponent. While she views those who come out directly up front in battle are idiots, she admits to have respect for them. According to Ravel, Karlamine is a "sword maniac", preferring to fight others in an intense sword match.

    Karlamine also cares for her comrades, being unpleased at the fact that the Pawns in her group were being used as sacrificial pieces.

    Demonic Power: As a Devil, Karlamine has all the common skills and powers of one.

    Fire: Karlamine can produce powerful flames, which she coated around her sword and dagger during her fight against Kiba. Wind: Karlamine can produce wind, which, in addition to her flames can create a powerful whirlwind that covers a wide area. Enhanced Speed: As a Knight, Karlamine possesses superhuman speed, capable of rivaling that of Yuuto.

    Master Swordswoman: Karlamine is heavily skilled in swordsmanship, being able to fight on par against Yuuto in terms of sword skills. Equipment

    Sword: Karlamine's main weapon, while it was destroyed during her initial battle with Yuuto, she eventually got a replacement.

    Dagger: Karlamine's secondary weapon that appears like a dagger.

    Knight Piece (騎士の駒, Kishi no koma): Karlamine was reincarnated using a Knight Piece, which enhances her speed, making her faster than an average person.

    Age 17

48. #48Katerea Leviathan

    Keys: Katerea

    Age 24 Katerea Leviathan was one of the three leaders of the Old Satan Faction. She was a descendant of the original Leviathan Katerea was a tall bespectacled woman with a voluptuous figure. She had tan skin with long brown hair tied into a bun with a headset and purple eyes (blue-grey in the anime).

    She wore an extremely low-cut purple dress with high slits which exposed a large portion of her breasts and legs. Personality

    Katerea hated the current Satans, believing that they were defiling the name of Satan itself. Furthermore, like her ancestor, Katerea desired world domination, not contend with just ruling over the Underworld, Katerea seeks to destroy the world by causing chaos and destruction in order to rebuild it into a new world under the rule of herself and the other original Satans descendants with the administration meant to create a new world where the system, laws and doctrine suit the ideology of the Old Satans. Due to her singleminded devotion to her ancestor's world domination ambition, Katerea admitted to Sirzechs that while she acknowledged he had been a capable ruler of the Devils in place of the original Satans, she claimed that he is not the best Satan due to his inclination towards pacifism. Like most of the pure-blooded devils she values her pure-blooded heritage. Noted by Issei if she found out about Ingvild, she would have just killed her for being half-human. She and the other descendants of the original Satans (except Vali) believed that the current Devil system was mistaken and sought to change it by killing the current Satans and taking control of the Underworld Immense Demonic Power: As the descendant of the original Leviathan, Katerea possesses an impressive amount of demonic power and is shown to be efficient in using her demonic powers. When powered-up with Ophis' snake, her power was increased to the level of original Leviathan and allowed her to keep up with Azazel. Though despite this, Azazel defeated her rather easily after activating the Balance Breaker of his artificial Sacred Gear; Down Fall Dragon Spear.

    Defensive: Katerea was able to create several layers of defensive magic circles that allowed her to block Azazel's multiple light spears. Self-Destruct Spell: Katerea activated this spell when she lost to Azazel, intending to take Azazel with her to death. However, Azazel discarded his one arm without any care and killed her before she could use the spell to kill him.

    Tentacle Arms: Katerea can elongate the length of her arms as well as her fingers which she turns them into even more arms to be able restrain her opponent's movements.

    Flight: Being a Devil, Katerea is able to fly using her wings. Ophis' Snake: After joining the Khaos Brigade, Katerea received a snake, which she used to increase her power. She lost the snake during her confrontation with Azazel.

49. #49King piece

    Keys: King piece

    King (王キング, Kingu) pieces are rare pieces created in the early days of the Rating Games. Unlike the other pieces which grant special abilities, the King Piece simply boosts a person's power. However, the King piece's strengthening is anywhere from 10 to 100 times and more. There are restrictions to its use. One, the user cannot already have an Evil Piece(s) because the King piece would overlap with their current piece(s) and expose them to dangers. Two, the user can potentially die if they are too strong. There are only nine unused King Pieces in existence, but they were banned by the current government from use for fear that Devils would use it to pursue evil desires. After Volume 21, the King Pieces have been confiscated.

50. #50Knight piece

    Keys: Knight piece

    Knights (騎士ナイト, Naito) are worth 3 Pawns.[8] Knights gain increased speed and mobility, enabling them to perform high-speed attacks and maneuvers.[1] However, their main weakness is their low defense, making them vulnerable to powerful attacks if they are not careful. Another weakness among knights are their legs; if their legs are injured, their mobility is greatly reduced.
