   Islaport is a coastal city facing the Pacific Ocean to its north and nestled between mountains. Islaport is located on a large trapezoid-shaped Cascadian peninsula in the Pacific Northwest, it hosts a range of attractions and suburbs and a population of around 700,000 inhabitants. It is well known for its expansive beach and bustling city center.

2. #2Islaport Freeway

   The Islaport Freeway is a large, busy and wide multi-lane beltway with double-decker sections that loops through the city from east, south, west and north. It connects Islaport to several several highways leading to neighboring cities. Past midnight until sunrise, the Freeway turns into a hotspot for street racing activity.

   Islaport's center is filled with crowds and large skyscrapers. It is the hub of activity where pedestrians walk through the High Street below the largest buildings such as office buildings like that of Gauntlet Offices and LovePharm, stores and shopping centers such Pyramid Mall as well as the Town Hall.

   The Town Hall of Islaport, a large historic building, is located downtown, just across from the central subway train station. Its ornate exterior features tall windows. Inside, a marble-floored lobby leads to a grand hall for events. The second floor has modern offices for municipal departments. The Town Hall symbolizes local governance, hosting civic events, cultural activities, and tours.

   The Mayor's Office inside City Hall is a spacious room with many historical paintings around, antique furniture and a large window looking over the city center. The office is occasionally open to tourists.

   The City Founder's Statue, located in Downtown Islaport, outside the main entrance of the Town Hall. It is a famous large bronze depiction of the city's founder, Howard Small, erected in the year 1823.

   The Central Station is a large subway train station in the very center of the city, used mostly by office workers, students and tourists. It has trains that run both throughout the city and beyond.

   The Central Bus Station is large bus station in the city center, the buses run mainly through the city and its different sectors. The bus station also has tourist buses that run through the more interesting sections of the city for tourists.

   Fort Plaza is the city's main police station and ISPD's headquarters. It is a large building with a dedicated armory, offices and attached parking complex for police vehicles. There is also a holding section for suspects.

    The Islaport Police Department (ISPD) is the main law enforcement agency for the city, headquartered at the Fort Plaza Police Station. The ISPD is a large force tasked with maintaining order across the city's diverse and often troubled districts, from the crime-ridden west to the affluent east. The department includes specialized units like the SWAT team for high-risk operations. Public perception of the ISPD is mixed; they are seen as a necessary force in the center and north but are often viewed with distrust in neighborhoods like Acre Yard due to aggressive policing tactics.

    ISPD officers can be identified by their badged light blue shirts (probationary officers/rookies wear long sleeves) and dark blue ties, dark blue slacks, feet clad with black tactical boots, and black duty belts carrying radios, handcuffs, pepper sprays, holstered tasers, holstered Smith & Wesson M&P9s, spare magazine pouches.

    ISPD's arsenal is comprised of: • Gen 5 Glock G22 semi-automatic pistols chambered in .40 S&W with 4.5-inch barrels; 15-round magazines. (G22s are being phased out) • S&W M&P9 semi-automatic pistols chambered in 9x19mm parabellum with 4.25-inch barrels; 17-round magazines, plus rail-mounted underbarrel flashlights. (M&P9s are standard issue) • S&W M&P 10mm M2.0 Full Size semi-automatic pistols chambered in 10mm Auto with 4.6-inch barrels; 15-round magazines; rail-mounted underbarrel flashlights. (Usage of 10mm hanguns is reserved for search parties heading into Islaport's wilderness) • Colt LE6920 gas-operated direct impingement semi-automatic patrol rifles chambered in 5,56x45mm with reversible safety selectors; 16.1-inch barrels; A2 flash hiders, handguards, and front iron sights; Magpul MBUS rear iron sights; 4-position collapsible M4 buttstocks; 30-round Magpul PMAG magazines. (There is one LE6920 securely stored in each patrol car) • Mossberg 590 pump-action shotguns chambered in 12 gauge with marinecote finish, 20-inch barrels; ghost ring rear sights; pistol grips; FAB Defense recoil-reducing 5-position adjustable side-folding buttstocks; 8-round capacity tube magazines; Streamlight TL-Racker forends with integrated flashlights. (There is one 590 securely stored in each patrol car. 590s are loaded with slug-shot rounds for breaching, bean bags or rubber baton rounds for crowd control, and 00 buckshot rounds for lethal force)

    ISPD's motorized fleet is comprised of dark blue: • Dodge Charger Pursuit highway patrol sedans powered by 6.4L HEMI 16-valve pushrod V8s (with outputs of 485 hp) paired with 5-speed automatic A580 transmissions and All-Wheel Drive (mostly seen patrolling the Islaport Freeway). • Ford F-150 Police Responder pick-up trucks, powered by 3.5L EcoBoost "D35" 24-valve DOHC twin-turbo V6s (with outputs of 450 hp) paired with 10-speed automatic 10R80 transmissions and Four-Wheel Drive on demand. • Ford Police Interceptor Utility (FPIU) patrol SUVs powered by 3.0L EcoBoost "Nano" 24-valve DOHC twin-turbo V6s (with outputs of 400 hp) paired with 10-speed automatic 10R60 transmissions and All-Wheel Drive. • Yamaha FJR1300P patrol motorcycles powered by 1.3L 16-valve DOHC inline-4s (with outputs of 144 hp) paired with 6-speed manual transmissions and Rear-Wheel Drive.

    The Islaport Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams are elite units trained to handle high-risk situations beyond the capability of regular patrol officers. They are deployed for scenarios such as hostage rescue, counter-terrorism operations, serving high-risk warrants on armed suspects, and engaging barricaded subjects. Based out of Fort Plaza, they are equipped with advanced tactical gear, armored vehicles, and specialized weaponry. Their presence is most common in the city's west and south districts during major police actions.

    The City's Marketplace refers to a large marketplace in the city center, filled with sizeable stalls rented by businesses to sell products, produce, food, and drinks. Some stalls also offer a wide variety of goods from different cultures and countries.

    The Apex Stadium is a massive sports stadium located in Downtown Islaport. It is used for various sporting events in the city, most also being televised. It has concourses and stands for public use, holding up to a maximum of 70,000 guests.

    Cable Buzz Network is a local television and news studio building located on the city center, it is used for broadcasts and publishing for the Cable Buzz Network. Its offices are used by various journalists and publishers for the newspaper, there is also a separate studio wings for news broadcasts and other local TV shows.

    Shima Sentai Umiranger, better known by its English name, Corsair Squadron SeaRangers, is a famous Japanese tokusatsu live-action TV show that promotes environmental awareness. Despite its Japanese roots, episodes are often filmed in Islaport at Cable Buzz Studios.

    Club Nightshade is the most popular nightclub in the city of Islaport, known for its high energy atmosphere. There are rumors that the nightclub is owned by the Italian mafia and many of its members attend the nightclub.

    The Leonelli Family, a traditionalist Italian-American mafia organization whose influence encompasses West, South and Central Islaport, they run several legitimate business but they also engage in protection racketeering. The Leonelli Family recently began suffering from infighting due to their leadership making pushes to go fully legal. The Leonelli are openly hostile to the Rusalka due the Rusalka muscling in, selling and supplying drugs in the Leonelli's western turf. They have no official headquarters but their members can be seen hanging around downtown at Club Nightshade.

    Gauntlet Corporation is mainly an insurance company and one of the biggest businesses in Islaport, handling various claims like house, car and life insurance as well as pensions and investments.

    Gauntlet Offices is large office building located in downtown Islaport, owned by Gauntlet Corporation, with almost 45 floors of office space. Most commuters in the city work in this building.

    Islaport's Natural History Museum is located in the City Center, containing historical artifacts and taxidermized animals. A historical observatory is open for visitors at night. The star of the museum is the exhibit on wildlife found in the ocean around the city's coast.

    Pyramid Mall is a massive pyramid-shaped shopping center located in downtown Islaport. Its reinforced structure is primarily made of painted stainless steel and sloped tinted glass windows. It contains hundreds of different shops like Athlete Needs, GameGlobe, Hall of Cards, and Pet Lovers. The mall also has its own dedicated food court and underground parking lot below. Its shape — much like The Memphis Pyramid, Long Beach Pyramid and the Las Vegas Luxor casino hotel, makes it not as much of a shopping center as it makes it a tourist destination.

    The north of Islaport is the main attraction of the city, containing massive stretches of beach and being full of entertaining businesses which tourists can enjoy such as Sandy Whale Waterpark, Gold and Silver Bowling Alley and The Infinity Cinema. The north also contains large docks in the northeast and the city's airport in the northwest.
