   • Role in Isekai Quartet: Class 2 Representative

   Personality

Ainz Ooal Gown is a wise and powerful undead overlord who strives to maintain his dignified persona while navigating the complexities of school life in the Isekai Quartet universe. He often finds the adoration and expectations of his Guardians to be somewhat overwhelming, though he deeply values them as his "children." Despite his formidable appearance, Ainz is portrayed as a character with moments of vulnerability and self-reflection. He is notably embarrassed by the affections of Albedo and Shalltear and is uncomfortable with Pandora's Actor's attempts to emulate him. Ainz is also conscious of his own limitations and has shown a willingness to cheat during tests due to the high expectations placed upon him.

   Appearance

Ainz retains his skeletal appearance from his original world, adorned in his signature royal black robes with golden edges. His attire includes large shoulder supports and floating red orbs, emphasizing his status as an undead overlord.

   Powers & Abilities

As the leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick, Ainz possesses immense magical power and combat prowess. While specific abilities are not detailed in the Isekai Quartet series, his formidable nature is implied through his role and status.

   Relationships

   Overlord

   • The Guardians: Ainz refers to the Guardians as his "children," guiding and supporting them to the best of his abilities. While he is grateful for their loyalty, he finds their constant praise and expectations somewhat tiring. He is particularly embarrassed by the affections of Albedo and Shalltear and is uncomfortable with Pandora's Actor's attempts to emulate him. Despite these challenges, Ainz considers the Guardians his family and is pleased to see them forming connections with others in this new world.

   Youjo Senki

   • Tanya von Degurechaff: Ainz initially suspected Tanya was from a war-torn world. After learning they were both originally from Japan and former salarymen, they became good friends. Ainz is somewhat fearful of Tanya, though his emotion suppressor helps manage this. He respects her abilities and is willing to cooperate with her, as seen during the Sports Festival. Tanya, in turn, holds Ainz in high regard. He is also surprised by her immunity to his time-stopping magic.

   Re:Zero

   • Natsuki Subaru: Ainz finds Subaru intriguing, noting a strange dark aura around him, which makes him somewhat aware of Subaru's Return by Death ability. Despite this awareness, he chooses not to delve deeper into the matter. He apologizes for touching Subaru and is on decent terms with him. Ainz also recognizes Subaru's strong mental fortitude, especially after observing his reaction to Tanya's powerful magical aura. During the Sports Festival, they develop enough trust for Ainz to consider Subaru's plans. He is surprised to learn that Subaru is immune to his time-stopping magic.

   • Reinhard van Astrea: Ainz finds Reinhard's powers to be extraordinarily powerful, even by his own standards. Despite this, Ainz is conscious that Reinhard listens to him as the teacher of Class 2.

The Rising of the Shield Hero

   • Naofumi Iwatani: Ainz regards Naofumi as a normal individual compared to Subaru. After learning about Naofumi from a demi-human girl, Ainz is amazed at how Naofumi protects his companions, including the demi-human girl. Ainz was one of the male students that Naofumi and Vanir took physical examinations of.

   • Raphtalia: When Raphtalia first saw Ainz, her instinct was to draw her sword. With Kazuma's help, Ainz was able to talk her into ceasing hostility. After understanding each other, they assisted her in searching for a hero named Naofumi.

   • Role in Isekai Quartet: Vice Representative of Class 2

   Personality

Albedo is characterized by her intense devotion to Ainz Ooal Gown, the leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick. In the Isekai Quartet universe, she is portrayed as a strong-willed and passionate individual who continues to serve Ainz loyally. While she finds the new world strange, she adheres to Ainz's guidance and follows the rules of this unfamiliar realm. Her demeanor has become more mellow compared to her original series, and she no longer looks down on her classmates as much. Albedo does her best to assist Ainz and her fellow Guardians whenever possible.

   Appearance

Albedo is a strikingly beautiful woman with jet-black hair and golden irises featuring vertically slit pupils. She possesses two large horns around the temples of her head and two black angel wings on her waist. Powers & Abilities

As the Overseer of the Floor Guardians in Nazarick, Albedo is a formidable warrior with exceptional combat skills. While specific abilities are not detailed in the Isekai Quartet series, her prowess is implied through her role and status.

   Relationships

   Overlord

   • Ainz Ooal Gown: Albedo's unwavering loyalty and affection for Ainz are central to her character. She continues to serve him diligently, even in the new world. Her feelings for him remain as strong as ever, and she strives to support him in every way possible.

   KonoSuba

   • Kazuma: She found him to be a bit gross upon seeing his face and due to the fact he is a human.

   • Megumin: She finds her to be tasteless and have a stupid hat when she overhears that Ainz might like her for her clothing choices.

   Re:Zero

   • Emilia: She was upset when Emilia became class rep and called her a stammering child. Despite that, Albedo gets along with her. They work together to stop the revived Destroyer.

   • Petelguese: Albedo gets along with Petelguese due to their similar obsessions of love. She even copies his habit of saying "death" at the end of a sentence.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil

   • Tanya von Degurechaff: She is seen to be very jealous of Tanya constantly being with Lord Ainz. While she understands Ainz and her aren't going out, she still gets jealous no matter what.

   • Vooren Grantz: Albedo had a bad impression (even if it was a misconception) of Grantz during the talent show, thanks to Darkness. During field day, she and Ram had no patience waiting for him in a game, saying "I wait for no man." Subsequently, they enabled the students of Class 1 to win the game. During the dodgeball game, Albedo created a wall to shield Ainz from the incoming ball powered by Aqua's magical power, and Grantz was dismayed when she pulled his legs.

3. #3Alec Hoshin

   Keys: Alec Hoshin

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   Alec Hoshin

   Background

Alec was content in his original world, surrounded by people he cared about. Upon being transported to another world, he fell into despair. However, Pantagruel's cheerfulness helped him find hope again. They were later joined by Vera Mitrohina, forming a close trio. Tension arose when Vera discovered that Alec and Pantagruel had concealed the existence of a way back home. Alec understood Pantagruel's reasons for the secrecy and kept it hidden to protect her.

   Role in the Plot

Alec first encounters Naofumi's group after they are catapulted into the village. He also meets Subaru's group when Pantagruel brings them over. During their time together, Alec explains that the golems are under Vera's command, being tested for their combat capabilities to aid her in ending the war in her world.

After Pantagruel leaves with Subaru's group to retrieve some classmates, Vera confronts Alec at the cathedral. Upon Pantagruel's return, Vera kidnaps her, believing she is the key to returning home. Vera succeeds in breaking the seal, but this action releases a destructive golem that she cannot control.

Alec arrives and reveals that Pantagruel can control the golem at the expense of herself. Pantagruel decides to sacrifice herself, saying farewell to both Alec and Vera. With the help of everyone, Pantagruel manages to fuse with the golem and destroy the gem on its chest, revealing a wormhole. As everyone prepares to leave, Alec chooses to stay behind to watch over Pantagruel, who now resides within the inactive golem, and is joined by Vera. Dissatisfied with how things ended, Kazuma uses his "Steal" skill one last time, successfully separating Pantagruel from the golem, leading to a joyful reunion of the three.

4. #4Aqua

   Keys: Aqua

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

   Aqua

   • Origin Series: KonoSuba: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!
   • Role in Isekai Quartet: Student of Class 1

   Personality

Aqua is a dramatic and often immature goddess known for her exaggerated emotions and constant need for attention. She frequently seeks praise, lashes out when frustrated, and bursts into tears at the slightest inconvenience. Despite her divine status, she behaves more like an irresponsible child than a deity, often bickering with classmates and shirking responsibility. Aqua harbors a deep hatred for the undead and demons, leading to several conflicts with the Overlord cast. However, she occasionally shows moments of insight, kindness, and unexpected competence—such as identifying the origins of other Isekai characters. Ainz once referred to her as a “tsundere,” encapsulating her erratic mix of hostility and reluctant affection.

   Appearance

Aqua has long, waist-length blue hair tied in a partial loop by a water molecule-shaped hair clip. She wears a revealing outfit consisting of a sleeveless vest, detached sleeves, thigh-high boots, and an extremely short miniskirt. Her choice of attire, though impractical, is something she wears with confidence.

   Plot Involvement

Aqua’s time in Isekai Quartet is marked by chaos. She first attempts to purify Ainz and his allies but is quickly overpowered and punished. During a class presentation, she tries again to exorcise the undead, only to be stopped by Kazuma. Later, she is assigned to the Animal Care Committee alongside Subaru and Aura. When she reveals her identity as a goddess and her awareness of the other students’ origins, Tanya reacts aggressively, prompting Ainz and Subaru to deescalate. Though Aqua causes her fair share of trouble, she remains a key source of comic relief and unpredictability in the group dynamic.

   Powers & Abilities

   • Turn Undead: Though typically used against low-level undead, Aqua’s divine nature greatly amplifies its power. She is capable of incapacitating high-level beings like Shalltear and significantly weakening Ainz.
   • Divine Aura: Her divine presence naturally attracts undead, as seen when skeletons are drawn to her during school events.
   • Water Manipulation: She can control large quantities of water, shown flooding the school during Season 2, Episode 3.
   • Magical Resistance: Immune to several high-tier spells, including Ainz’s Time Stop and Despair Aura.

   Relationships

   KonoSuba

   • Kazuma Satou: Aqua’s long-time companion. Their relationship is built on mutual insults, exasperation, and strange camaraderie. Despite their constant bickering, they are inseparable.
   • Darkness & Megumin: Aqua’s fellow adventurers and trusted friends. Though often frustrated by their antics, she remains close to them.
   • Chris: Aqua enjoys teasing Chris, especially about her figure, despite Chris being more mature and composed.

   Overlord

   • Ainz Ooal Gown: Aqua repeatedly tries to purify Ainz, with little success. Despite his power, she shows little fear toward him. Over time, their interactions evolve into begrudging tolerance.
   • Albedo: The two frequently argue, but they have shared surprising moments of solidarity—such as Aqua defending Albedo’s virginity during a heated exchange.
   • Death Knight: A frequent target of Aqua’s exorcism efforts, much to the confusion of the faculty.

   Saga of Tanya the Evil

   • Tanya von Degurechaff: Initially dismissive of Aqua’s divine claims, Tanya becomes hostile when Aqua reveals knowledge of her past. Their confrontation is only defused by Subaru and Ainz. Despite their antagonism, Tanya later assists Aqua in classwork.
   • Wilibald Koenig: Often insulted by Aqua, who mockingly calls him “horse face.”

   Re:Zero

   • Subaru Natsuki: One of the first to be identified by Aqua as a fellow Isekai transfer. He often protects her from Tanya’s wrath and helps keep her in check. Though skeptical of her divine status, he gradually comes to accept her eccentric nature.
   • Rem: Patient and gentle toward Aqua. Despite Aqua’s resistance, Rem manages to get her to cooperate during joint class activities.

   Trivia

   • First to correctly deduce that Ainz, Subaru, Tanya, and Kazuma are all from Earth.
   • One of the few characters capable of seriously damaging Ainz.
   • Assigned to Animal Care despite repeatedly trying to exorcise school pets like the Death Knight.
   • Filo and Naofumi Iwatani strongly dislike her due to past behavior involving magical creatures.
   • Continues her series’ signature gag of being devoured by giant toads—an unfortunate trend that persists even in Isekai Quartet.

Despite early friction, Aura and Subaru shared fun moments together, including riding Filo, which helped soften their relationship.

She shares the Natsuki family's fondness for mayonnaise.

Later, during science class, Emilia is with Puck, Shalltear, Mare, and Chomusuke. She attempts to ask the lesser spirits to light the Bunsen burner, but Chomusuke lights it instead with its fire breath. Pantagruel is cheerful, lively, and bright, maintaining a positive attitude despite her long years of loneliness. She is highly compassionate, especially toward those she considers friends, but also exhibits a certain sense of fear of abandonment, which influences her actions throughout the story.

    Background

Pantagruel was created by Kikotenshin and the Head Researcher after they created a monstrous golem that was uncontrollable. Together with a paladin and his siege golem, Pantagruel helped defeat the creature, later sealing it in a facility. After the passing of Kikotenshin and the return of the Head Researcher to his home, Pantagruel was left alone for over three hundred years.

Her loneliness was broken when Alec Hoshin and Vera Mitrohina appeared. Pantagruel, fearing abandonment again, hid the truth about a way to return home. Pantagruel first witnesses the arrival of new people in her world who are chased by a siege golem. After the group is separated, she helps Subaru's group by calming a hostile golem and takes them to her village. There, they meet Alec and reunite with Naofumi's group. Pantagruel reveals that the golems are under Vera's control, who tests the group’s combat strength for her war-torn world.

Pantagruel eventually confesses that she lied about there being no way home and that she could no longer avoid reality. They confront Vera, but after Pantagruel is kidnapped and brought to the golem facility, a destructive golem is released. Ainz intervenes, protecting the group from the uncontrollable monster. Later, Pantagruel fuses with the golem and breaks its chest gem, revealing a wormhole for the group to use to leave. Her hair is adorned with hair clips and a flower-shaped ribbon on the right side, along with a maid hairband. She wears a standard black-and-white maid uniform and bears a near-identical appearance to her younger twin sister Rem, differing primarily in hair color, eye color, and ribbon placement.

    Personality

Ram is blunt, lazy, and sarcastic, often insulting those around her—especially Subaru. Despite her aloof attitude, she is dedicated to her duties and fiercely loyal to Roswaal. She openly expresses disdain for perverted behavior, tattles on wrongdoers, and takes pride in doing as little work as possible. Her dry wit and constant deadpan delivery make her a consistently sharp presence in the classroom.

    Plot

In Isekai Quartet, Ram arrives alongside the rest of the Re:Zero cast and quickly adapts to her school life. She continues her maid duties in the new setting, often partnering with her sister Rem and watching over Emilia’s group. She participates in various events like the talent show, dodgeball, Valentine's Day, and the beach trip, maintaining her trademark sarcasm throughout.

Her interactions usually involve dishing out commentary, pointing out idiocy, or reporting rule-breakers to Roswaal. Despite this, she is observant and strategic, often seen using classmates like Cocytus to shield her from responsibility.

    Powers & Abilities

    • Wind Magic: Though rarely displayed in Isekai Quartet, Ram is a skilled user of wind magic, once using it to fend off the Witch Cult in her past.
    • Combat Training: As a former elite oni, Ram retains enhanced reflexes and basic fighting abilities, though her true power was greatly diminished after she lost her horn.
    • Sharp Observation: Ram often reads situations quickly and uses others (like Cocytus) to avoid labor while subtly manipulating outcomes in her favor.

    Relationships

    Re:Zero

    • Rem: Ram’s beloved younger sister, whom she protected during the Witch Cult attack that cost her her horn. In Isekai Quartet, Ram still teases her, but proudly introduces her to the class and supports her during events like the talent show and dodgeball. She expresses pride in Rem’s growth, even when focusing on her over herself.

    • Roswaal L. Mathers: Ram deeply respects Roswaal, maintaining loyalty across worlds. She rats out misbehavior to him, gifts him chocolate for Valentine's Day, and supports his decisions—even when they seem questionable.

    • Subaru Natsuki: Ram constantly insults Subaru, calling him "Barusu," and never misses a chance to mock or shame him. Despite this, she has assisted him in serious moments, such as during the Rem-horn incident. In Isekai Quartet, she continues her verbal assaults, yet occasionally joins him and others for casual outings, like getting croquettes.

    Overlord

    • Cocytus: Ram uses Cocytus as a physical shield to slack off during class. They form an unusual understanding, both condemning chaos during the talent show. Cocytus even supports her and Rem during the dodgeball match by giving them a lift for their combo move.

    • Pandora’s Actor: Though she finds him irritating, Ram listens to him out of respect for his connection to Roswaal.

The Saga of Tanya the Evil

    • Viktoriya Ivanovna Serebryakov ("Visha"): Assigned to work with Visha on lunch duty, Ram shares a mild friendship with her. They bond over observing absurd behavior—especially from men. Ram occasionally shocks Visha with her deadpan remarks and openness (excluding the truth about her missing horn).

    • Vooren Grantz: Ram holds a negative impression of Grantz, mostly due to misunderstandings and his behavior during the beach trip. She and Albedo abandon him during Field Day due to his slow pace, helping Class 1 secure a win.

    Trivia

    • Nicknamer Extraordinaire: Ram never calls Subaru by his real name, instead persistently using the nickname "Barusu."
    • Salt & Pepper Over Mayo: When asked about chicken wing seasoning, Ram made it clear she’d never share Subaru’s "shameful" preference for mayonnaise.

    Personality

Raphtalia is calm, polite, and protective by nature. Initially wary around unfamiliar people—particularly skeletal undead—she is always on guard in new surroundings. Her loyalty toward Naofumi is unwavering, and she frequently acts as his moral compass. Though she competes with Filo for his attention, she genuinely cares for others, often placing their safety above her own. Despite the oddities of the Isekai Quartet world, Raphtalia adjusts well, balancing her protective instincts with budding friendships.

    Plot

In Isekai Quartet, Raphtalia transfers into the school setting alongside Naofumi and Filo. She resumes her role as Naofumi’s "sword," defending her classmates when needed—such as shielding Filo from a rogue baseball. She interacts with characters from other worlds, cautiously at first, but gradually warms up, especially after seeing their shared experiences with being transported to new worlds.

Her presence adds a grounded voice of reason to the chaos around her, and she provides commentary on events such as dodgeball and Valentine's Day, often humorously frustrated by Naofumi's deadpan reactions or teasing.

    Powers & Abilities

    • Swordsmanship: Trained by Naofumi and refined through battle, Raphtalia is a skilled swordswoman, capable of defending herself and others with quick reflexes.

She often refers to him as her "true hero."

    • Filo: While Raphtalia and Filo bicker over Naofumi's attention, they maintain a sisterly bond. Raphtalia is quick to protect her and shares concern when Filo is in danger.

    Overlord

    • Ainz Ooal Gown: Raphtalia’s first reaction to seeing Ainz was to go on the offensive, mistaking him for a wave monster. Her protective instincts kicked in due to his undead appearance, and she remained cautious even after being told otherwise.

    KonoSuba

    • Kazuma Satou: When Kazuma intervened to prevent Raphtalia from attacking Ainz, she hesitated. His explanation that they were all from different worlds helped calm her. Upon learning he might help her find Naofumi, her attitude softened. She appreciated his kindness, though his antics remain a mystery to her.

    Trivia

    • Voice Actress: Raphtalia shares her Japanese voice actress Asami Setō with CZ2I28 Delta from Overlord. In English, she shares her voice actress Erica Mendez with Megumin (KonoSuba) and Puck (Re:Zero).

His presence adds a sense of calm even in the chaos of the Isekai Quartet world.

    Plot

Reinhard appears as a student of Class 1 alongside Subaru, Emilia, and the other Re:Zero characters. While his role in the series is minor, his overwhelming power and good-natured personality leave a strong impression. During events like the cavalry battle on field day or Valentine's Day, Reinhard shows support to his classmates and contributes in crucial moments—often turning the tide of competitions with his divine blessings.

    • Support Blessings: Like walking on water, clouds, or seeing through mist.
    • Power Bleeding: Becomes stronger when bleeding.
    • Mind Reading: Can vaguely read others' thoughts.
    • Unarmed Mastery: Even without a weapon, Reinhard is a force to be reckoned with.

    Relationships

    Subaru Natsuki

Reinhard is a kind and supportive friend to Subaru. He saved Subaru early in their original world and continues to support him in the school setting. During the field day cavalry game, Reinhard’s team tied with Subaru’s before joining forces to challenge the teachers and a giant mecha. While Reinhard handled the teachers, Subaru dealt with the “Destroyer,” showing a balance of trust and teamwork between them.

    Felt

Reinhard’s loyalty to Felt began before the events of Isekai Quartet, when he took her under his wing as a Royal Selection candidate. In the school setting, they work closely together, forming a team during field day. Though Reinhard tried to gift her chocolate on Valentine’s Day, Felt turned him down, consistent with their push-pull relationship dynamic.

    Julius Juukulius

The two knights are old friends and comrades in the Royal Guard. Reinhard regrets being unable to stop the duel between Julius and Subaru in their original world. In Isekai Quartet, they fight together during events like the cavalry game, showing their tactical synergy and mutual respect.

    Trivia

    • Reinhard is a walking miracle, with over 100 Divine Blessings, many of which are comedic (e.g., sodium knowledge, cloud-walking).
    • Despite being nearly unbeatable, Reinhard often chooses not to interfere in smaller matters unless absolutely necessary.

    • Role in Isekai Quartet: School Nurse (Main Supporting Character)

    Appearance

Rem has sky blue hair tied in a side ponytail, large light blue eyes, and wears a maid uniform even in the school setting. In Isekai Quartet, she often wears a white nurse’s hat and carries her signature flail. Her soft features and gentle expression contrast her battle-hardened strength and demon heritage.

    Personality

Sweet, loyal, and fiercely devoted, Rem is known for her caring nature and unwavering love for Subaru. She can be bold and outspoken, especially when Subaru is involved, and is more assertive than her sister Ram. Rem balances her nurturing instincts with an incredible capacity for violence when provoked, particularly in defense of those she loves. In the school setting, she is dutiful in her role as a nurse and quick to act if Subaru is injured—or simply late.

    Plot

Rem plays a central supporting role in Isekai Quartet, especially in relation to Subaru. As a nurse, she handles student injuries and helps administer physical exams with Shalltear. She often frets over Subaru's well-being, scolds him for overexerting himself, and cheers him on during school events like field day and the talent show. Despite comedic exaggerations, her deep affection for Subaru remains earnest and strong.

Rem is also seen bonding with characters outside her original series, including Albedo and Shalltear, often forming unlikely but surprisingly functional dynamics as fellow romantic rivals or co-workers. Her interactions reflect both her gentle care and underlying competitiveness.

    ---

    Relationships

    Ram

Rem once felt inferior to her older twin sister Ram, especially after the Witch’s Cult attack left Ram without her horn. Despite this, Rem deeply admires and loves her sister. They work closely as nurses under Roswaal’s guidance in Isekai Quartet and frequently act in tandem during events, such as the dodgeball game, where they performed an illegal combo magic attack. Even in this new world, Rem often follows Ram’s lead but isn’t afraid to speak her mind when it matters.

    Subaru Natsuki

Rem’s feelings for Subaru evolved from suspicion to undying love. After Subaru saved her during the demon beast incident, she devoted herself to him wholeheartedly. In Isekai Quartet, she consistently supports Subaru—walking with him to school, cheering him on at events, and nursing him after every misadventure. She often physically carries him when he’s late or weak, and proudly introduces him to others as someone important to her.

Despite playful moments—like throwing Subaru with her flail or embarrassing him with affection—Rem remains sincere in her care. She was visibly worried when Subaru was attacked by a giant hamster, and she always offers comfort when he struggles. Rem also shows jealousy and protectiveness but respects his choices and is happy just being by his side.

    Albedo (Overlord)

Though their affection targets are different, Rem and Albedo share an unexpected bond over their intense love for their respective men. Rem introduced Subaru to Albedo and acknowledged her own experience of falling in love at first sight. While they’ve had disagreements, Rem remains polite and understanding, even sympathizing with Albedo’s feelings. She also tied her and Shalltear up with her flail to prevent them from sneaking off during physical exams—demonstrating both her authority and mischievous streak.

    Shalltear Bloodfallen (Overlord)

Rem and Shalltear share nursing duties and maintain a respectful relationship. Rem helps Shalltear handle her insecurities and doesn’t mock her, even during embarrassing moments like Shalltear wearing a sign about her chest size. She also offered Shalltear advice on giving Ainz a private exam—showing an unexpected sense of camaraderie and humor.

    Megumin (KonoSuba)

During physical exams, Rem noted Megumin’s eye patch as a point of interest, speaking to her politely. Though their interactions are brief, Rem treats Megumin with her usual gentle demeanor.

    • She’s one of the few characters who can physically launch Subaru into the air and catch him without injury.
    • She has a strong rivalry/friendship dynamic with Albedo and Shalltear, especially in romantic contexts.

Ristarte appears as a stunning young woman with long blonde hair tied with a blue ribbon. She typically wears a flowing white dress that accentuates her divine beauty, leaving her shoulders and legs exposed. Her design emphasizes her status as a goddess, while still fitting the chibi aesthetic of Isekai Quartet.

    Personality

Ristarte is dramatic, expressive, and often over-the-top in her emotions. She’s prone to wild reactions, especially when dealing with Seiya’s excessive caution or when things don’t go her way. Despite her flair for theatrics, she genuinely cares for those around her and tries her best to be helpful—though she’s frequently flustered by Seiya’s behavior.

    Plot

Ristarte makes a very brief appearance in Isekai Quartet. While exploring the town, she stops by the Ruffian’s meat shop, where she is served by Visha, who is working part-time to earn enough to order from the shop’s secret menu.

She also expresses interest in attending the school festival. However, due to Seiya’s usual paranoid behavior and refusal to engage in anything potentially risky, the two ultimately decide not to go—much to her visible frustration.

    Roswaal L. Mathers (ロズワール・L・メイザース)

    • Origin Series: Re:Zero
    • Role in Isekai Quartet: Schoolteacher, supporting character

    Appearance

Roswaal is a tall and slender man, standing at 186 cm. His body appears delicate but is well-toned, reflecting both elegance and strength. His face is pale, giving him the appearance of a "pretty boy," but his makeup and eccentric outfit somewhat mask this beauty. He has heterochromatic eyes, one yellow and the other purple, both framed with elaborate eye shadow. His indigo hair flows long enough to cover his back and is typically tucked behind his left ear. He wears a flamboyant outfit resembling that of a jester or clown, featuring purple shades, red and black boots, and a cape. Sometimes he dons more formal attire, such as a long black coat.

When he appears without his signature makeup, his skin is notably pale, and his eyes take on a gentler, more welcoming expression. His original appearance as Roswaal A Mathers, prior to his possession, had indigo hair and blue eyes, giving him an elegant and youthful charm befitting his noble lineage.

    Personality

Roswaal is charismatic, calculating, and ambitious, with a tendency to mask his true motives behind an eccentric persona. He plays the role of a benevolent benefactor but harbors deep, self-serving ambitions, such as using Emilia, Subaru, and others to further his own goals. Although he supports Emilia's quest for the throne, his true loyalty is often questioned, as he is driven by personal motives, including resurrecting his mentor and defeating the Divine Dragon. In Isekai Quartet, his personality is more lighthearted, and he acts as a schoolteacher, but his cunning nature still shines through.

Since he's a clown, he speak like he's singing

    Plot

    • Re:Zero: In Re:Zero, Roswaal is initially seen as a manipulative figure, using Emilia to further his own ambitions. He is one of the central antagonists of Arc 1 and Arc 4. Despite this, he is forced into an agreement with Subaru and is compelled to truly support Emilia after losing a bet in Arc 4. However, his goals remain, and he continues to manipulate events to achieve his desires.

    • Isekai Quartet: In Isekai Quartet, Roswaal takes on the role of a schoolteacher, where he interacts with students from various worlds, including Subaru, Emilia, and Ram. His eccentricities shine in the classroom, as he occasionally uses his magical abilities and has unique perspectives on situations. • Manipulation: Roswaal is highly manipulative, able to control others through both charm and magical means, furthering his own agendas.

    • Ram: Roswaal took Ram and her sister under his wing as children, eventually forming a close relationship with Ram, who becomes his confidant. In Isekai Quartet, their relationship transitions into a student-teacher dynamic.

    • Emilia: Roswaal supports Emilia’s quest for the throne but remains hidden in his ulterior motives. He initially uses her for his personal goals but is forced to truly support her after losing a bet with Subaru. In Isekai Quartet, he also serves as her teacher and makes her the representative of Class 2.

    • Subaru Natsuki: Roswaal’s relationship with Subaru is complex. Initially, Subaru serves as his servant in Re:Zero, but their dynamic shifts to a teacher-student one in Isekai Quartet. Roswaal often challenges Subaru with cryptic lessons, such as reminding him not to judge by appearances.

    • Kazuma Sato: Roswaal appears to have a neutral stance towards Kazuma, especially when Kazuma intervenes with Aqua. He places Kazuma on the Student Disciplinary Committee with Tanya and Demiurge. His interactions with Kazuma are often marked by subtle manipulation and the occasional punishment for misbehavior.

    • Megumin: In Isekai Quartet, Roswaal is a supporter of Megumin’s explosive talents, even encouraging her to showcase her abilities during the talent show. Despite his often manipulative ways, he seems to appreciate her unique skills.

    • Aqua: Roswaal has a more direct approach with Aqua, especially when she misbehaves. His disciplinary actions, such as punishing her for attacking Ainz or cheating during tests, reflect his no-nonsense approach as a teacher.

    • Albedo: Roswaal is aware of Albedo’s disdain for Aqua and uses his authority to prevent conflict. He manipulates class dynamics and has a significant role in her appointment as vice representative of Class 2.

His hyper-cautious nature often leads him to avoid risks or activities that others would see as harmless, such as the school festival in Isekai Quartet. He insists on avoiding anything that may pose a potential danger, even when there are no obvious threats. Personality:

    • Subaru is generally optimistic and brave, though he can be confused or awkward, especially when it comes to the affections of those around him. He enjoys helping others and is willing to risk his life for his friends. Despite the dark aspects of his life in Re:Zero, he tries to maintain a positive outlook in Isekai Quartet. He shows deep affection for Emilia and has a somewhat awkward dynamic with Rem. He often serves as a comic relief character, delivering punchlines during various school events.

    Powers & Abilities:

    • Return by Death (死に戻り Shinimodori): Allows Subaru to return to a "save point" after death. This ability comes with significant penalties:
      • Subaru cannot reveal this power to others without facing severe consequences, including death or silencing by the Witch.
      • The "Witch's Aura" or smell attracts dangerous entities such as Death Knights and Hamsuke, making him a target for these creatures.

    • Overlord:

      • Ainz Ooal Gown: Subaru is initially wary of Ainz but grows to develop a shaky but respectful relationship with the Overlord.
      • Hamsuke: Hamsuke, a pet in the Animal Care Committee, is drawn to Subaru’s "Witch’s Stench," which leads to awkward and often painful encounters.

    • Youjo Senki:

      • Tanya von Degurechaff: Subaru and Tanya don't interact much, but both display caution around each other, especially during the Sports Festival. Subaru feels more cooperative with Tanya in class activities, despite being intimidated by her.

    Trivia:

    • Subaru is the only student from Class 2 wearing a modern outfit from his original world.
    • His "Witch’s Stench" is a recurring gag, attracting demon beasts and causing trouble for him in Isekai Quartet.

Tanya von Degurechaff (ターニャ・フォン・デグレチャフ, Tanya von Degurechafu)

Origin Series: Youjo Senki (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) Role in Isekai Quartet: A main character and student of Class 2; a member of the Disciplinary Committee

    Appearance

Tanya is a petite, blonde-haired, blue-eyed girl with a doll-like appearance. Despite her youthful looks, she often gives off a sharp and sinister impression. She wears her military uniform from her original world, complete with her magical amplifier, the Elenium Type 95, which is embedded at the base of her neck.

    Personality

Originally a pragmatic and ruthless salaryman reincarnated by Being X, Tanya maintains a strict, efficient, and highly disciplined personality. She despises laziness, gods, and inefficiency. While she continues this behavior in the Isekai Quartet world, she has softened slightly—helping classmates with detention and studies, and even apologizing when wrong (notably to Aqua). Tanya can also be surprisingly childish, arguing over food preferences and expressing pride in mundane victories.

Despite her suspicion of new surroundings, she sometimes relaxes around classmates and occasionally shows surprising camaraderie—though always laced with calculated caution.

    Plot

Tanya arrives in the Isekai Quartet world after pressing a mysterious button on a device she was testing. Upon arrival, she initially mistakes Ainz for her enemy, Being X, but later clears up the confusion and begins adapting to her new school life.

    Powers & Abilities

    • Magical Combat Prowess: Tanya is an elite aerial mage, considered to have a magical aura comparable to 8th-tier magic in Overlord, as noted by Ainz.
    • Flight: With the help of magical gear, she can fly and maneuver at high speeds in aerial combat.
    • Protective Barrier (Jewel Core): Can form powerful barriers that protected herself and others from attacks like the Mobile Fortress Destroyer.

    • Prayer Activation: Through prayer (albeit reluctantly) to Being X, she activates the Elenium Type 95, boosting her offensive and defensive capabilities exponentially.
    • Magic Resistance: She is immune to Ainz's Time Stop and resistant to Demiurge's commands.
    • Authoritative Presence: Commands obedience through sheer force of will or magical influence.

    Relationships

    Youjo Senki

    • Imperial 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion: Transferred to the new world with her. Tanya maintains her strict command over them, especially Viktoriya, with whom she shares a slightly friendlier dynamic.
    • Erich von Rerugen: She deeply respects him, unaware of the fear he harbors for her. She's the only member of her unit to give him Valentine's chocolate.

    Overlord

    • Ainz Ooal Gown: Initially suspected of being Being X. They bond over shared origins as Japanese salarymen and become unexpected friends. Tanya respects him and calls him casually by name.
    • Demiurge: A fellow Disciplinary Committee member. She admires his orderliness and cooperates with him, especially in controlling Kazuma.

    Re:Zero

    • Natsuki Subaru: Minimal interaction, but Tanya sympathizes with his apparent curse. They cooperated during the sports festival.
    • Roswaal L. Mathers: Initially skeptical, later respects him as a teacher. Tanya has both comedic and serious run-ins with Roswaal during events.
    • Puck: Teamed up to train Kazuma for the sports festival.

    • Megumin: Tanya respects her power but criticizes her for lengthy chanting.

46. #46Vanir

    Keys: Vanir

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

    Vanir

    • Origin Series: KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!
    • Role in Isekai Quartet: Teacher of Class 1 (Recurring Character)

    Appearance

Vanir wears an elegant blue suit with gold accents, white gloves, and a black-and-white mask marked with the number “2.” His masked face and flamboyant gestures make him stand out among the more subdued faculty members. His theatrical presence and formal attire give off a bizarre mix of showmanship and menace.

    Personality

A former Demon King General, Vanir delights in chaos, drama, and—most of all—negative emotions. He has a flair for the dramatic, often shouting, gesturing wildly, and making exaggerated statements. Much like Pandora, he revels in mischief and discomfort, often mocking his students in bizarrely specific and theatrical ways. Despite this, he takes some joy in teaching, especially when it allows him to confuse or embarrass others. His love of suffering is played for laughs, and his antics often serve as comic relief in Isekai Quartet.

He also possesses a surprisingly cooperative streak when it suits his chaotic interests, often working with fellow teachers like Roswaal or Mr. Rerugen during school events or games—usually in a way that escalates things unnecessarily.

    Plot

Vanir appears suddenly in Isekai Quartet, accepting a teaching position as the homeroom teacher of Class 1. With no warning or explanation, he inserts himself into school life, much to the confusion (and sometimes terror) of the students. His lessons often veer into bizarre territory, full of strange metaphors, mockery, and personal jabs. During events like field day, he competes directly against students, showing both his incredible power and his over-the-top showmanship.

He occasionally interacts with other teachers and staff, usually to cause a bit of mayhem or make pointed observations about their personalities.

    Powers & Abilities

Vanir is no ordinary teacher—he’s an elite demon with a wide array of powerful abilities:

    • Emotion Sense: Vanir can read the emotional states of those around him, taking particular pleasure in shame, anxiety, and despair.
    • Precognition: He can see into the future, though the extent and accuracy of this ability are unclear. He uses this power as both a combat and comedic tool.
    • Doll Conjuration: Vanir can create miniature copies of himself—small Vanir dolls that explode upon contact. These dolls assist him in battle or sometimes just for fun.
    • Demonic Physique: As a former Demon King General, Vanir possesses exceptional strength, endurance, and magical resilience.

Though he’s rarely seen fighting in Isekai Quartet, his presence and reputation are enough to keep even powerful students wary of crossing him.

    ---

    Relationships

    Demiurge (Overlord)

Vanir sees Demiurge as overly serious and somewhat humorless, making him a perfect target for mockery. While Demiurge may try to remain composed, Vanir enjoys poking holes in his logic or simply annoying him for fun. Their demon natures clash not through battle, but through their very different approaches to manipulation and control.

    Subaru Natsuki (Re:Zero)

Upon noticing Subaru staring blankly out the classroom window, Vanir loudly mocked him: “You there with the nasty stink face. While I do enjoy watching your eyes bulge out of your head in astonishment, I would greatly appreciate if you wouldn’t disrupt my instruction.” Vanir continues to antagonize Subaru whenever he senses embarrassment or fear, and the two often end up in hilarious verbal exchanges. Despite the mockery, Vanir seems intrigued by Subaru’s strange emotional aura.

    Kazuma Satou (KonoSuba)

Vanir is one of the few characters from KonoSuba who already knows Kazuma, though their relationship is complicated. Vanir sometimes acts like a business partner, other times like an overbearing weirdo. In Isekai Quartet, he teases Kazuma mercilessly, often referencing their shared past while dragging up old embarrassments.

Roswaal & Mr. Rerugen (Field Day Team-Up)

During field day, Vanir worked alongside Roswaal and Mr. Rerugen to form a teachers’ team against the students. While Roswaal brought magic and flair, and Rerugen brought strategy, Vanir contributed unpredictability and explosions—turning a simple race into a spectacle of smoke and chaos.

    Trivia

    • Vanir is technically immortal in his original series, having transferred his consciousness into multiple forms.
    • His “Vanir dolls” are both cute and dangerous, often used to comic effect during school activities.
    • Despite mocking others, Vanir is weirdly effective at motivating students—mainly because they want to prove him wrong or shut him up.
    • His teaching methods are unorthodox, but his knowledge of magic, strategy, and psychology is legitimately top-tier.
47. #47Vera Mitrohina

    Entry settings

    Vera Mitrohina

    • Origin Series: Isekai Quartet The Movie: Another World (Original Character)
    • Role in Isekai Quartet: Major Supporting Character (Movie-Only)

    Appearance

Vera is a young female soldier who wears the distinct gray and red uniform of the Empire, the same as Tanya von Degurechaff. Her serious demeanor and military posture reflect her combat background and hardened outlook. Her uniform and general appearance often cause characters to mistake her as a citizen of the Empire, which plays a key role in her internal and external conflicts.

    Personality

Vera is straightforward, principled, and harbors a deep hatred of lies. Though initially cold and pragmatic, her emotional side becomes increasingly evident as the story progresses. She’s fiercely loyal to her sense of justice and can be impulsive when she feels betrayed. Her tough persona masks a vulnerability caused by her tragic past, and she struggles with feelings of betrayal, guilt, and longing for belonging.

Despite her cynicism, Vera is not without compassion—her bond with Pantagruel and Alec Hoshin shows that she deeply values trust and loyalty, even if she doesn't always know how to express it.

    Background

Born in the Unified States to Imperial parents, Vera grew up proud of her heritage and fluent in the Empire’s language. However, when war broke out, the Unified States turned against those of Imperial descent. Feeling betrayed, Vera blamed the Empire and came to resent it. She joined the Unified States military and became a spy within the Imperial army.

At some point during her mission, Vera was transported to another world filled with golems. There, she met and bonded with two other out-of-place individuals: Pantagruel and Alec Hoshin. The three became close, and Vera found a strange sense of peace in this world. However, upon discovering that the others had hidden the truth about a possible return to their worlds, she felt betrayed once more. Taking a ring that allowed her to control the golems, she resolved to return and use the immortal army to end the war in her homeworld once and for all.

    ---

    Plot

In Isekai Quartet: Another World, Vera encounters Ainz Ooal Gown and Kazuma Satou after they arrive unexpectedly in the golem-filled world. Though initially suspicious, she allies with them after realizing they share the same predicament. Vera informs them of a mysterious wall device capable of dimensional travel and introduces them to the diary left behind—asking for help deciphering the term “Chunibyo.”

Realizing Pantagruel is the key to the golems’ power, Vera tracks her to a cathedral and ambushes her—with help from Ainz’s Death Knight. There, she comes face to face with Tanya von Degurechaff, whom she despises due to Tanya's fame as an Imperial war hero. After successfully kidnapping Pantagruel, Vera turns on her allies when she suspects they’re allied with Tanya.

Ignoring warnings from Ainz and Kazuma, she breaks the seal on a giant golem, confident in her ability to control it. However, the golem attacks her, and Ainz steps in to protect her. Alec arrives soon after and reveals that Pantagruel must fuse with the golem to stop it—at the cost of herself. Vera, shaken by the consequences of her actions, expresses deep regret.

In the end, with Pantagruel’s sacrifice, the group creates a wormhole to return home. Vera chooses to stay behind with Alec to protect the golem that now houses Pantagruel’s spirit. Just before leaving, Kazuma cheekily uses “Steal” one last time—and miraculously frees Pantagruel, allowing for a joyful reunion between the three friends.

    ---

    Relationships

    Pantagruel

Pantagruel is Vera’s closest friend in the golem world. Though Vera ultimately felt betrayed by Pantagruel for hiding the truth, their bond was strong enough to survive the fallout. After realizing the sacrifice Pantagruel was willing to make, Vera was overcome with guilt and stayed behind to watch over her. Their reunion at the end brings emotional closure to Vera’s journey.

    Alec Hoshin

Another close friend and comrade from the golem world, Alec often acted as the rational counterpart to Vera’s impulsive nature. Though he didn’t always agree with her methods, Alec remained by her side. After Pantagruel's fusion, Vera and Alec commit to staying behind to guard her, showing a deep sense of duty and shared grief.

    Tanya von Degurechaff

Vera harbors a deep-seated hatred for Tanya, not for personal reasons, but for what Tanya represents—a glorified figure of the Empire that Vera blames for her family’s suffering. Their encounter at the cathedral is tense, but ultimately brief. While Tanya doesn’t recognize Vera, Vera views her as the embodiment of the ideology she opposes.

    Ainz Ooal Gown

Initially an ally, Ainz aids Vera in her plan—only to be turned on once Vera suspects his loyalty. Despite this, Ainz protects her from the golem’s rampage without hesitation, which causes Vera to start questioning her own assumptions.

    Kazuma Satou

Kazuma shares a lighthearted but strained alliance with Vera. While Vera is all business, Kazuma’s lazy attitude and sarcasm often clash with her intensity. However, his quick thinking—and last-minute “Steal” trick—ultimately saves the day, allowing Vera a chance to reunite with Pantagruel.

    ---

    Trivia

    • Vera is an original character created specifically for Isekai Quartet The Movie: Another World, and does not appear in the original Youjo Senki light novel or anime.

    Vooren Grantz

    • Origin Series: Youjo Senki: The Saga of Tanya the Evil
    • Role in Isekai Quartet: Secondary Character (Recurring Background Student)

    Appearance

Vooren is a young man with short, medium-blonde hair and sharp emerald green eyes. He wears the standard military uniform of the Empire from Youjo Senki, giving him a clean and formal appearance. In the school setting of Isekai Quartet, he dons the shared school uniform but maintains a straight-laced posture that reflects his disciplined upbringing.

    Personality

Polite, well-mannered, and a bit naive, Vooren often comes across as earnest and proper—traits that sharply contrast with the chaotic personalities around him. His respectful demeanor makes him stand out among his more eccentric classmates. However, this same sincerity sometimes leaves him vulnerable to misunderstandings, especially when dealing with characters like Darkness.

Though not heavily featured, Vooren is shown to be helpful and cooperative, always willing to lend a hand when asked.

    ---

    Plot

Vooren has a minor role in Isekai Quartet, mostly appearing in background scenes with the rest of Tanya's squad. His most notable moment occurs during the school talent show when Darkness seeks a volunteer. Oblivious to her masochistic tendencies, Vooren politely offers to help—only to discover, to his shock, that she intended for him to whip her as part of her act. The scene ends with Vooren visibly disturbed and backing away in horror, leaving the audience in laughter.

Despite his limited screen time, Vooren's interactions highlight the humorous clash between the serious world of Youjo Senki and the absurdity of the other series.

    ---

    Relationships

    Tanya von Degurechaff

As a member of Tanya's unit, Vooren shows unwavering respect and obedience toward her. Though not often seen speaking directly with Tanya, he remains a loyal subordinate who follows orders and carries out his duties in line with the Empire’s military code.

    Darkness (KonoSuba)

Vooren’s brief but unforgettable encounter with Darkness during the talent show leaves a comedic mark on Isekai Quartet. His confusion and discomfort play perfectly off her gleeful masochism, creating one of the series’ funnier student interactions.

    ---

    Trivia

    • Vooren’s name is often overlooked, but he's a fully named character in both Youjo Senki and Isekai Quartet.
    • His reaction to Darkness is one of the few instances where a Youjo Senki character breaks composure.
    • His polite nature makes him an unintentional straight man in comedic scenes.
