This world has 12 major cities, each one worshipping a specific goddess in particular, with the people of each cities customs, traditions, and values of life being very different from city to city. Though because of the fact each city worships a different goddess, it’s practically guaranteed for tension between the cities to arise, though that’s mainly due to their conflicting views and ideals.

Now, you may wonder, there are no gods in this world, and it isn’t really known why, but since there are no gods, every city has a myth that each goddess, wanting to become a mother, donned a human form and entered their respective cities, and found a man they fell for, married, and had a child with, with all of these demigods being girls as well, though since they were goddesses, they had to leave their human lover and sadly, their daughter, leaving them unknown of their divine heritage.

But there is trouble in this world, and that trouble is that Hakai, the forgotten 13th Goddess of Death and Disease is trying to free herself from when her 12 sisters sealed her away for her evil uses of her powers, and now she seeks to overthrow the 12 goddesses by finding 12 champions to fight them and take their place, as well as being a danger to the Goddess’s daughters, so Hakai will become ruler of the Gods.

Now, you may be wondering, who are these twelve Goddesses other than Hakai? Well, let me introduce you to them: Valentia, the Goddess of Bravery and Fire. Sarang, the Goddess of Love and Family. Sundar, the Goddess of Beauty and fertility. Hunluan, the Goddess of Ice and Chaos. Mizu, the Goddess of Water and Wisdom. Riqueza, the Goddess of Mischief and Wealth. Bashert, the Goddess of Fate and Magic. Estrella, the Goddess of Music and The Stars. Sora, the Goddess of Thunder and The Sky. Kusuri, the Goddess of Agriculture and Medicine. Guerra, the Goddess of War and Victory. And last but not least, Pryroda, the Goddess of Nature and The Earth. Depending on which city you read about each goddess, how their portrayed, whether as neutral, good, or bad, it all depends on which city you read about them in.

Now, you want to know about their heirs, their demigod daughters, don’t ya? Well, rest assured, you will learn about them.

Valentia: Valentia’s daughter is Lupa, a fiery young woman with rose-colored hair, Amber eyes, and a long bushy tail like a Wolf, since she’s a beastman. Lupa is an incredibly skilled warrior, famous around town for her fighting spirit and skill, that aways stands up for what she believes is right, and as her city of birth has taught her, she will fight to the bitter end with her crimson spear, some almost saying she’s like a force of nature in the arena, tearing her adversaries apart like a wild Wolf, though she can be calm when she’s not fighting, like when she used to roll around in the wheat fields when she was younger, and is an incredibly loyal friend, if you get used to her sniffing you every now and again, she’s got a sharp nose after all.

Sarang: Sarang’s daughter is Mitsuri, a sweet young woman with pink hair with green streaks and light green eyes who, despite being a girl, and girls don’t really work too much compared to guys especially in her city of birth, Mitsuri, with her katana in hand, trained hard to become one of the highest ranks of the many Demon Slayers, protecting her beloved city from the man-eating demons who attack the city at night. And really, if you didn’t know that’s what Mitsuri does, you’d be taken by surprise, because this hopeless romantic of a girl is quite sweet, kind and gentle, as well as actually being quite famous in the city for being one of the few girls to ever achieve the highest rank a Demon Slayer can get and for her beauty, so she’d be a great friend and looking for the right guy to eventually marry her, because if the city of her birth has taught her anything, it’s that love can play a big part in changing someone’s life.

Sundar: Sundar’s daughter is Jessica, a sultry but moral young woman with dark red hair and emerald-green eyes who is quite the eye-catcher, that’s for sure. Despite her playful and provocative nature while she sings, enchanting crowds with her almost hauntingly beautiful and smooth voice, perfect for the slow, jazzy songs she loves to sing, as she flaunts her assets for mostly the guys in the crowd to see. In fact, those performances are why she’s famous around the city. Though despite being she way she is and looking the way she does, I mean, her normal voice sounds like a low, sultry purr, she’s actually quite an empathetic and loyal person, as well as extremely loving to whoever she takes as her romantic partner, her rapier will only point at those she deems a threat to her or people she cares about. Though sadly, a lot of people don’t believe her when she tells them that she’s loyal and loving, thanks to her performances onstage, which she is really just having fun there, and of course, her looks, since if her city of birth taught her anything, while physical beauty can get you far, beauty on the inside matters just as much if not more.

Hunluan: So, this is interesting, because Hunluan didn’t have one daughter, but two, she had twins, Carlotta and Ayaka. Both young women having long, bluish-white hair, just Ayaka has it up in a high ponytail, and Carlotta has it down, and Carlotta has dazzling turquoise eyes while Ayaka has deep navy eyes. Born into money, they’re both really the closest thing to Princesses than any of the other demigods, they both do what they can to help their family, with Carlotta, with her wits, charm, elegance and politeness when she needs it, and her magenta masquerade mask, helps her family from more behind the scenes, while Ayaka, with her navy blue folding fan in hand, is kind, gentle, elegant, soft-spoken, and sometimes so polite she doesn’t always speak her mind, helps with the social games in the big parties, with Ayaka perfecting the solo fan dance her city is known for, while Carlotta prefers more ballroom style dances, specifically the waltz and tango. These two sisters pull a two-pronged approach that can make them both a valuable friend to have, and while they’re almost just as potent separate than apart, as Carlotta is incredibly skilled with her deer horn knives and Ayaka loves using her combat fan. Together they’re incredibly successful at what they do, because if their city of birth taught them anything, it’s that if power between factions slips even the smallest bit, chaos could easily happen.

Mizu: So Mizu, funnily enough, being the sister of Hunluan, had twins as well, Cordelia and Lola. These two young women with fish-like features, since everyone in their city has features like some manner of marine life, with Cordelia with her frilly pink fins, teal eyes, and hair of corresponding pink color looking more similar to a pink Angelfish, and Lola, with her reddish-orange and white striped fins with hair of the same color and sames stripe pattern, pale yellow eyes, and her fins packing a venom that causes very bad pain, is more akin to a Lionfish. These two are easily the bombshells of the city, with Cordelia and Lola being found in photoshoots so much, they’re famous throughout the city for their beauty and popularity in the model industry, though these two are way more that just pretty faces, being more than capable of standing up for themselves, though if you’re on their good sides, you just got a lot of perks by being friends with these two. Though being quite different visually, like freshwater and saltwater, these two sisters got each other’s backs, especially when Cordelia is wielding her harpoon and Lola is wielding her cutlass. Since if there’s anything their city of birth taught them, you need to be as ever-flowing, shaping, and flexible as water to live a fulfilling life.

Riqueza: Riqueza’s daughter is Chel, a crafty young woman with jet-black hair and brown eyes who’s incredibly street-smart, and dreams of adventure. Chel didn’t have the most money growing up, so she spent her time perfecting her skills as a thief, being quite cunning, clever, mischievous, and flirty when she needs to be, as well as skilled with a katar dagger, though when she’s not being a thief she’s quite a kind girl, so with her as a friend, some things that may seem impossible might’ve just seemed more possible, because if her city of birth taught her anything, it’s that sometimes you gotta resort to mischief to go from rags to riches.

Bashert: Bashert’s Daughter is Charlotte, a sweet young woman with golden blonde hair and light blue eyes who’s truly the belle of the ball and the life of the party, and despite being born into a very wealthy family and was pampered no her whole life by her doting father, Charlotte actually isn’t really the sterypical rich girl, she’s incredibly kind-hearted, gentle, though also being a bit scatterbrained at times and is a hopeless romantic on top of also being a bit sassy if she’s annoyed, growing up reading fairytales about true love and fantasizes about one day, fate will smile down apon her and help her in finding her own Prince Charming, even though she’s famous around the city for her beauty, money, and kindness, as well as her interest in mastering the bow and arrow. If you have Charlotte as a friend, she’ll always be in your corner, supporting you all the way, she also decides things quick, because if her city of birth has taught her anything, it’s that sometimes fate happens, not everything in life has to have a reason.

Estrella: Estrella’s daughter is Astra, a stunning young woman with green-black hair and salmon-pink eyes who’s famous around the city for her singing ability, beauty, and acting career. She owns a special staff that she can both defend herself with, and even use it to channel magic when she sings into it like a microphone. Though also being born into money, she’s still an absolute sweetheart, is extremely energetic, and actually likes hanging out with her fans, since most of the time she’ll sneak out of stuff to do with her business as a singer or even as an actress, only because she’s just trying to have a good work-life balance, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t enjoy singing, no, quite the contrary, music is her life, and some say meteor showers start happening whenever she sings at night. She’s always longed to have a real friendship, not one that’s based around business, or anything, but if you have her as a friend, well hats off to you, because that girl is a real handful, and she’ll very likely give you free stuff, because if her city of birth taught her anything, it’s that music can bring people together no matter who they are or where they are.

Sora: Sora’s daughter is Elesa, a dazzling young woman with dark brown, almost black hair and blue eyes who’s famous for her beauty and presence in the modeling community, she’s the undisputed queen of the catwalk. Some people say her electric personality can be a bit much, others enjoy her just the way she is, but there’s definitely one thing that’s true, the stuff she wears and models typically becomes popular around the city very quickly. Since if the electrifying beauty likes it, it’s gotta be good. She takes great pride in her position and her skills with a halberd, since if her city of birth taught her anything, it’s that a first impression can be as quick, stunning, and electric as lightning.

Kusuri: Kusuri’s daughter is Varesa, a young woman with pink hair with teal streaks, purple eyes, and thanks to her dad being a beastfolk, AKA a person with animalistic features, she has cow horns, cow ears, and a cow tail. This girl is diligent some times, lazy other times, and she also owns an orchard that’s incredibly popular. On the topic of food, she eats a lot, so much so that she DEMOLISHES the competition in professional eating contests. That’s thanks to her incredibly fast metabolism, and she’s really only her energetic self after she’s eaten a lot, when she’s running on an empty stomach, she’s very lethargic and slow. That metabolism showed when she wanted to work out and get stronger despite her already being blessed with incredible strength since she was young and some good skills using a pair of sickles, she tried to follow a diet plan, but it left her so hungry she could barely do anything, so her fitness coach told her she can go back to eating as much as she needs, because if her city of birth taught her anything, it’s that food is an incredibly important thing for our day-to-day lives, so don’t take it for granted.

Guerra: Guerra’s daughter is Heather, a smart but compassionate young woman with black hair and green eyes who is one of the famous Dragon Riders in her city of birth, with her training a Razorwhip Dragon she named Windshear. There was a time in Heather’s life when she had to rough it all on her own, away from any civilization, that time gave Heather her survival skills and her skills with a battle axe, and it was during that time she met Windshear and was able to turn that Dragon from an aggressive wild beast to her best friend for life, even having armor made from Windshear’s shed scales. Now she lives in the main city as one of the thirteen famed Dragon Riders, a team of people who protect Dragons from Dragon Hunters, since they only started considering Dragons their friends and that we can peacefully coexist with them relatively recently, there are still opposing factions who believe Dragons are monsters that need to be eradicated, so the Dragon Riders stand up for Dragon kind, and are seen as heroes by the people of their city. Since if her city of birth taught her anything, it’s that even after years of conflict, you can find peace after war.

Pryroda: Pryroda’s daughter is Ivy, a reclusive young woman with ginger hair and green eyes who has a deep connection to nature, she spends more time among her plants than around people, and if you destroy nature without any remorse, then you’re on her bad side, and you really don’t want that, since she can use her beauty as a weapon to entrance people into letting their guards down, since like any rose, she may be pretty on the outside, but she can be dangerous when she needs to be, as she’s quite skilled with an urumi, also called a whip sword, and more importantly how she could summon vines to ensnare someone, since she has the ability to summon plants to grow out of the ground and control where they go, which is definitely not normal, and some even say her lips are poisonous, so all you could do is share a kiss with her and you could die, but some also say she can choose whether or not to have them be toxic, but regardless, because of this she is feared my most, but she’s human, albeit half human half goddess, though she doesn’t know that, so she thinks she’s just like them, so she’s not a mindless monster, since if her city of birth taught her anything, nature has feelings too, just like us, so don’t hurt the environment.

Now, let’s add more to the Goddesses, like their weapon of choice, where their city is located, their fake names when they don their mortal disguises, and their two signature animals, both animals they are depicted and shown a lot with.

Valentia: Valentia’s weapon of choice is a Khopesh. Her city, the most southern of the 12 major cities, is located in the rocky, rolling foothills of the world. Her mortal name is Vivian. And her two signature animals are the Wolf and the Hawk.

Sarang: Sarang’s weapon of choice is a Bow and Arrow. Her city is located where the highlands meet the temperate forests. Her mortal name is Sophie. And her two signature animals are the Swan and the Elephant.

Sundar: Sundar’s weapon of choice is the Rapier. Her city is located in the stunning highlands of the world. Her mortal name is Scarlett. And her two signature animals are the Peacock and the Giraffe.

Hunluan: Hunluan’s weapon of choice is a pair of Deer Horn Knives. Her city is located high up, in the snowy mountains of the world. Her mortal name is Hazel. And her two signature animals are the Snow Leopard and the Moose.

Mizu: Mizu’s weapon of choice is the Harpoon. Her city, the most western of the 12 major cities, is located on the shoreline of the world that borders the tropical rainforest, where there’s both natural freshwater hot springs, a river tha meets the ocean, and of course the beach and ocean. Her mortal name is Melody. And her two signature animals are the Sea Lion and the Jaguar.

Riqueza: Riqueza’s weapon of choice is the Katar. Her city is located in the heart of the tropical rainforest. Her mortal name is Raven. And her two signature animals are the Raccoon and the Horse.

Bashert: Bashert’s weapon of choice is two Hook Swords. Her City is located on the edge of the big swamp of the world. Her mortal name is Brianna. And her two signature animals are the Owl and the Cobra.

Estrella: Estrella’s weapon of choice is a Morning Star. Her city, the most western of the 12 major cities, is on the edge of the barren desert of the world, where a different type of Demon live. Her mortal name is Elena. And her two signature animals are the Lion and the Scarlet Macaw.

Sora: Sora’s weapon of choice is the Halberd. Her City is located in between the barren desert and the majestic Savanna of the world. Her mortal name is Savannah. And her two signature animals are the Tiger and the Eagle.

Kusuri: Kusuri’s weapon of choice is a pair of Sickles. Her city is located in the wide-open grasslands of the world, near the tropical rainforest. Her mortal name is Kiara. And her two signature animals are the Bison and the Komodo Dragon.

Guerra: Guerra’s weapon of choice is a Battle Axe. Her city, the most geographically north of the 12 major cities, is found in the coastal temperate highlands of the world, where Dragons roam. Her mortal name is Giselle. And her two signature animals are the Wild Boar and the Vulture.

Pryroda: Pryroda’s weapon of choice is an Urumi, AKA a Whip Sword. Her city is located in the temperate forest of the world. Her mortal name is Paulina. And her two signature animals are the Bear and the Falcon.

Hakai: Hakai’s weapon of choice is a War Scythe. She doesn’t have a city, as her sisters sealed her away for her evil uses of her power. She never gave herself a mortal name. And her two signature animals are the Jackal and the Hyena.

Now, there’s one thing left to cover. The twelve champions Hakai found and amplified the darkness in them using her powers, who she will first send after the demigods daughters, and then with hopes of them overthrowing the other Goddesses and taking their places. Those 12 champions are all men, too, kinda makes it feel like Hakai is building herself a reverse harem...but regardless, those 13 men are Shen, Tai Lung, Kai, Jinu, Dr. Facillier, Orm, Drago, Jamil, Leona, Vil, Rui, and Shan Yu. Now, to discuss these champions.

Shen: Shen is a Peacock beastman, specifically an albino peacock, with silvery white hair, Peacock tail feathers, and red eyes. He was a prince of a city in the temperate forests known for creating wondrous firework displays, but he saw something different in fire, a much different use. When his parents got worried, they consulted a soothsayer, who predicted if Shen stayed down this dark path he would one day be defeated by a warrior who wields fire as masterfully as him, Shen heard the prophecy as well, and what does Shen do? He doubles down and eradicates an entire village. When he comes back his parents banish him, knowing what he’d done. Through his years in exile Shen prepared, becoming quite the warrior with his Flame-Bladed Spear and feather-shaped Throwing Knives, while also amassing an army of Wolf Beastmen, all with the goal of finding something that will make him satisfied, as his memories of the prophecy never left his mind. Shen was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Fire and Bravery, so his opponent is Lupa.

Tai Lung: Tai Lung is a Snow Leopard Beastman with gray hair, Snow Leopard ears and a tail, and orange eyes. He originates in the mountains, where the clan he was born into care greatly about martial arts. Tai Lung showed promise from a young age with his training, spending years mastering his craft, fighting with focus, fierceness, honor, and skill. He was promised greatness and making his mentors proud, they even gifted him a pair of Combat Claws for his work, all with the dream of gaining the title of Dragon Warrior, in which you must be chosen and have the Dragon Scroll. But then as a young man, when he believes he would be chosen to become the next Dragon Warrior, he was told The Dragon Warrior was chosen, or Warriors, as the noblewomen sisters Carlotta and Ayaka were already chosen instead of him, and Tai Lung was dumbfounded. He felt as if the system had betrayed him, he was promised greatness, and did everything his mentors told him to do and more. So he turned that into rage, going and causing destruction to a village and being imprisoned for it, though all it will take is one chance for him to escape, and one chance is all this one-man army needs, to get his revenge and what he believes is rightfully his from Carlotta and Ayaka: The Dragon Scroll. Tai Lung was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Ice and Chaos, so his opponents are Carlotta and Ayaka.

Kai: Kai is a Yak Beastman with dark hair, Yak horns and a tail, and jade green eyes. He was the general of an army alongside a powerful warlord, a Tortoise Beastman named Oogway. The two of them were Brothers-in-arms, and fought valiantly together, though Kai could never hold a candle to Oogway, despite his prowess and skill with a Double-Sided Spear. But then one day Oogway was badly injured in a battle, and Kai searched around to find help for him, until he found a village of Panda Beastmen, who transferred chi to Oogway, healing him. Oogway wanted to learn how to transfer chi the way they did, and they were happy to both teach him and Kai, and so they learned, and as a result Oogway wanted to leave the warlord life behind and become a monk, leaving Kai devastated, but out of that, Kai got an idea, if they can give chi, can chi be taken? Kai did it, figuring out a way to take chi from others, but the light that came off of it wasn’t gold, it was green, turning those he stole chi from into Jade pendants, allowing him to make Jade statues that look like those he stole from that are his to control, and making Kai stronger, Kai continued taking Chi from others, until Oogway fought him and sealed Kai away, but all Kai needs is a little more power and he’ll break through the seal, and Hakai can give him that power. Kai was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Agriculture and Medicine, so his opponent is Varesa.

Jinu: Jinu is a Demon with black hair and brown eyes, but not the kind of Demon Mitsuri deals with, the kind Astra deals with. These Demons don’t die from sunlight, and don’t rely on Human flesh and blood to stay alive, but Human souls, though since the city is very active at night it’s hard for them to feed, so Jinu got an idea. You see, Jinu was a human originally, but him, his mother, and his sister were quite poor, all he had was an instrument and a good singing voice. So, Jinu sold his soul to the Demons to get out of poverty, and he played for many people after that, life seemed fine, but this was at the cost of Jinu loosing his sister and mother, and with time his markings that proved he was a demon apeared, so he started living with the Demons after that, trying desperately to forget his family but can’t. Now, his plan, the type of Demon he is can don a human disguise for a bit of time, as their normal forms are more humanoid than other species of Demon, so Jinu decided with four other Demon men to create a boy band, and when they would perform for villages at night, that’s the chance for some demons to get their meals. And with time, his boy band, the Saja Boys, were extremely popular, so popular they’re even contesting Astra Yao in terms of popularity, especially since they’ve been secretly taking out other musicians in the area to increase attention on them, turn the crowds to them so their demon brethren can feast, and if any Demon Hunters attack, Jinu has experience with a Chain Sickle. Jinu was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Music and The Stars, so his opponent is Astra.

Dr. Facillier: Dr. Facillier, or as some call him, The Shadow Man, is a human with Black hair and dark eyes. He got his title because even before Hakai came around and found him he had friends on the other side, those spirits going around the world as shadows, though still moving things around. This man is an impressive manipulator, playing on what others want to try and give him more power, and once you make a deal with The Shadow Man, good luck to you, because this theatrical, manipulative witch doctor-looking man has a good deal of magic thanks to the gamble he made himself. You see, he’s really working so hard to get more power to pay off his debt to his friends on the other side, since he put his own soul on the line for their magical help, though he did some combat training, fighting with a Bident quite well. Facillier was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Mischief and Wealth, so his opponent is Chel.

Orm: Orm is a merman with light blonde hair and blue eyes, a merman that looks a lot more like a Human, though he can do everything a Merman can normally do. Orm is the King of an undersea kingdom and is no slouch at all combat-wise with his Trident. He decides to stay below the water as Orm has quite a lot of disdain for the surface world and any races that live on it, due to the problems they have done to the ocean, and soon they will see the true wrath of the ocean. Orm was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Water and Wisdom, so his opponents are Cordelia and Lola.

Drago: Drago Bludvist is a Human with black hair and brown eyes who lives in the Coastal Northern Highlands, where Dragons live. He was the chief of a village, but then Dragons destroyed it, his family and many of his people gone. He never saw Dragons as something to learn to coexist with, he saw them as something to be conquered. So, he learned how to force Dragons to obey his army and him through fear and his Bull Hook. He hires Dragon Hunters to catch Dragons to make his army stronger and crush anyone who gets in his way, so his power is absolute. Drago was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of War and Victory, so his opponent is Heather.

Jamil: Jamil Viper is a Human with black hair and Charcoal Gray eyes, and he lives in a Kingdom in the Desert. His family were servants to the Kingdoms royal family, Jamil being tasked as the retainer for Kalim Al-Asim, the Kingdom’s eldest Prince. While Kalim views Jamil as his best friend since they basically grew up together, Jamil is less than thrilled due to the amount of things he’s had to do for Kalim, and Jamil really dislikes being pushed around by those in power. While Jamil may undermine his own skills, he is actually quite skilled in a myriad of things, especially hypnosis magic and combat with his Serpent Spear. Jamil was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Magic and Fate, so his opponent is Charlotte.

Leona: Leona Kingscholar is a Lion Beastman with brown hair, Lion ears and a tail, and green eyes. He’s also he second born Prince of a Kingdom in the Savanna, where he is one of the most skilled and smart warriors, with his Nimcha sword and impressive earth magic skills, he may come off as lazy or arrogant at times, but his skills and his tactful mind more than make up for that. Leona was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Nature and The Earth, so his opponent is Ivy.

Vil: Vil Schoenheit is a human with blond hair with light purple tips, and his eyes are a similar shade of purple. Vil has been an actor since he was young, pretty much always getting villainous roles. Vil takes pride in his looks, and no effort is too much in his pursuit of elevating his beauty so he can be regarded as the most handsome man, hence his occasional arrogance and use of the Scimitar as his weapon. Vil was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Beauty and Fertility, so his opponent is Jessica.

Rui: Rui is a demon with white hair and red eyes, and he’s not the type of demon that Jinu is, he’s the type of demon that lives on human flesh and blood, the types Demon Slayers like Mitsuri have to deal with. And despite not looking like much of a threat mainly due to his shorter stature, Rui is a force to be reckoned with his rope dart and more importantly, his blood demon art. The blood demon art is a special type of magic demons like him can use to give themselves special powers, and Rui’s blood demon art allows him to manipulate special threads like a spider, and those threads are both strong and very sharp. Rui was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Love and Family, to his opponent is Mitsuri

Shan Yu: Shan Yu is a human with black hair and dark eyes. He’s a warlord from the temperate forests, and he seeks to prove his strength through conquering whatever is in his way, his army follows him without hesitation. Add on his falcon, which acts as his eyes in the sky, and his trusty Nagni sword, him and his army are a force that strikes fear into those who witness it. Shan Yu was chosen by Hakai to be the next God of Lightning and the Sky, so his opponent is Elesa.
