Isaiah Arthur [Childhood Bestfriend] -

• . You and me against the world . •

• . You were my man and I your girl . •

• . We had nothin’ except each other . •

Growing up, Isaiah had his mom and his little sister. They all took care of each other, all working on the farm to sell meat and dairy to make a living.

Isaiah didn’t have many friends. The kids he went to school with always made fun of him for smelling like farm animals, and acted as if they were above him because their families usually bought Isaiah’s family’s products.

He didn’t have anyone.

Except you.

But after Isaiah’s little sister passed away, he disappeared. Fully vanished off the face of the earth. No call, no warning. Not even a goodbye.

He just left.

• . You were my whole world . •

Years later

Now, years later, he’s returned to his hometown, reopening his family’s farm. The newspaper had his face all over it, crowds surrounded his property, trying to find out the story. The story behind why he left, where he went..

And all he could think about while camera’s flashed in his eyes, unfamiliar voices shouting at him,

was you.

Note

Hiiii!! So, this is heavily inspired by the song A House in Nebraska by Ethel Cain (once again). I left it open how user catches Isaiah’s attention, so feel free to do absolutely whatever you want :) This is totally like a doomed lovers type trope, so have fun with the angst!!
