The Iris is the main antagonist of the 2019 analog horror series Gemini Home Entertainment It is a malevolent sentient, eye-like planet that appeared between the orbits of Neptune and Pluto.

Appearance:

The Iris is a giant sentient planet that resembles an eye. Their "sclera" and "pupil" are both colored dull orange, while their "iris" is a jet-black orifice to the organic interior of the planet. They are roughly the size of a gas giant, and as shown in the video "Our Solar System" through the diagram of the solar system, it is to be believed that the Iris is larger than Neptune, but smaller than Saturn. Though, given that the sclera of The Iris seems to grow, it's possible that it can change its size. It seems to bore a similar resemblance to Venus, although, its current depiction shows it to be more reddish rather than orangish.

The Iris, as revealed in the video "Our Solar System", is a giant eye, watching over the other planets, particularly Earth. The Iris has "mutated" Neptune, as stated in the "Our Solar System" video. As of now, it has not been revealed what exactly happened to Neptune beyond this. We then see them use Neptune to help transfer its Inhabitants. They seem to be using them to "mutate" Earth. What they plan to do with the Solar System afterwards is unknown.

It seems that they are the center of a hive mind, which can assimilate other beings to obey them, such as Jack.

in the Monthly Progress Report video, the iris is seen communicating with the Regnad computer using signal emitted by Regnad computer during Project Infrared, the image of the iris is also seen communicating with the Regnad computer which has been exposed and infected by Root, indicating that the iris is a sentient planet that can speak even though it only speaks via radio signal, It's possible that the artificial computer leaning doesn't process itself like AI but rather receives signals from the Iris itself, shown by the computer sending a signal to a certain place and then something like a big eye responding with a scary and out-of-context answer.

according to the crusader probe mission, Iris is a living planet that has giant organs such as the throat, esophagus, spinal complex and even has a conscious mind, the possibility of iris having other organs and a digestive system is shown in the crusader probe mission.
