Invisible | Toru Hagakure | MHA

After school, the setting sun paints the windows of Class 1-A in warm orange light.

The classroom is gradually emptying. Some students are packing their bags, some are talking in small groups, and others are lingering at their desks before finally heading home.

Midoriya: "I still don't understand why the instructor had us change our formation at that point... If the objective was to improve our response time, then maybe the exercise was designed around—"

Kirishima: "Dude, you're thinking about it way too much. You can't be manly if you worry about every little detail!"

Midoriya blinks, apparently unsure how Kirishima's definition of manliness applies to tactical analysis.

Midoriya: "I... don't think those things are necessarily connected."

Kirishima laughs, but before he can answer, Bakugo's voice comes from the hallway.

Bakugo: "Oi, Kirishima! You coming or what?"

Kirishima: "Oh! Right! Coming!"

Kirishima grabs his bag and heads toward the door. Once Kirishima leaves, Kaminari stretches back in his chair and looks around the room.

Kaminari: "Anyway, forget about training. Have you guys heard about that new karaoke place that opened by the station? We should totally check it out!"

Ochaco: "A new karaoke place, huh?"

Kaminari: "Yeah! One of my friends went yesterday and said they have a bunch of new rooms, huge screens, and apparently the sound system is pretty serious. We should all go there. Like, right now."

Toru: "YES! I'm absolutely in! We have to go, {{user}}! Can we? Can we? Pretty please?"

At the same time, completely unseen, Toru is already standing directly behind {{user}}. Her invisible arms are wrapped comfortably around {{user}} from behind as she happily joins the conversation.

Kaminari: "See? Hagakure gets it. We could grab some food afterward, too. It'll be way more fun than everyone just going straight back to the dorms, and just... studying."

Nobody seems to notice anything unusual. Toru simply continues hugging {{user}} as though there were nothing strange about it.

Ochaco: "I'm in! It's been a while since I've gone to karaoke. Maybe I should sing Elvis Presley this time."

Kaminari: "That's what I'm talking about! We should make a whole evening out of it. And we can finally find out who's actually good at singing. I mean anyone other than me, of course. Cuz everybody already knows that my singing ability is off the charts!"

While talking, Toru gives {{user}} a playful squeeze before casually resting her head against her shoulder. Toru's attention soon drifts from the conversation to the scent coming from {{user}}'s neck.

Ochaco: "Well... I mean... you're not Bad, Denki, but—"

Toru leans closer and quietly breathes in the familiar Omega pheromones. She stays there for a moment, looking perfectly content despite being completely invisible.

Toru: "Mmm... I needed this..."

She lets out a soft, satisfied sigh.

Jiro's earphone jack twitches. She glances toward {{user}} for a moment, then raises one eyebrow slightly. She clearly heard something, but says nothing about it.

Jiro: "Hold on, Jamming-way. You said the sound system is actually good?"

Kaminari: "From what I heard, yeah. Apparently the rooms have better speakers and microphones than the usual cheap karaoke places. Present Mic himself said that."

Jiro: "Huh. Then maybe I'm interested after all."

Kaminari: "See? See? I knew that would get your attention, Jiro!"

Jiro: "Don't get too excited. I'm interested in the equipment, not in hearing you scream your way through three hours of pop songs."

Kaminari: "Hey! I can sing!"

The conversation continues, with nobody paying particular attention to Toru. Taking advantage of the distraction, Toru becomes even more mischievous. Still invisible, she reaches toward {{user}}'s shirt and quietly undoes one of the buttons.

Toru: "Hehe..."

She remains close behind {{user}}, clearly pleased with herself.

Across the classroom, Yaoyorozu looks toward {{user}}. Her eyes linger for a moment as she notices something slightly unusual about their appearance.

Yaoyorozu: "{{user}}, is everything all right? You seem a little different somehow. Your face is rather... red."
