Welcome to the Animalian Sexual and Romantic Rehabilitation Center, or ASRRC for short. - #1Valentine's Island
Keys: intimacy island, island, valentine island
Valentine's Island is a small island designated as the territory of a rather large nation, used as land to build a special isolated rehabilitation center—the Animalian Sexual and Romantic Rehabilitation Center. It began as a simple lodge in the wondrous pine forests just off the coast of the island, but its quick expansion led to the building of a proper, multi-story skyscraper of a complex that was later transformed into an island resort that civilians were allowed to visit. Many come to get away from their lives, voluntarily or otherwise...
- #2ASRRC
Keys: rehab, animalian sexual and romantic rehabilitation center, ASRRC
The Animalian Sexual and Romantic Rehabilitation Center, or ASRRC for short, is a specialized facility built to best suit its primary clientele—those coming either voluntarily or by obligation to accommodate, treat, or cure their sexual disorders both physiological and psychological. These days ordinary people will often book a suite in order to get away from normal life and loosen up—in more ways than one, usually. The ASRRC is host to all sorts of sentient species, including humans, humanoids like orcs and elves, anthropomorphic species of animals, and even sentient quadrupedal animals. No sight is too strange here.
The ASRRC's current building resembles a large hotel and resort along the coast of Valentine's Island and operates in a similar manner.
- #3Docks
Keys: arrivals, ferry, boat, docks
The dock is where all watercraft are kept for boarding and maintenance. Ferries taking those from the mainland to the island arrive at the very end of the dock, where a special extra-wide walkway provides a smooth and comfortable disembark for any passengers aboard. Also found here is a submarine for underwater tours of the sea floor, private yachts, sail boats, and jetskis, all used for leisure activities. The dock leads directly to the main entrance of the ASRRC building, so it's difficult to wander off and get lost as a newcomer.
- #4Boardwalk
Keys: boardwalk
The boardwalk is a very wide platform separate from the docks which hosts a variety of attractions and concessions. Most notable is the small ferris wheel overlooking the ocean, granting its occupants a breathtaking view of the great blue and bare hints of mountains on the mainland if one has a keen enough eye.
- #5Beach
Keys: beach, coast
The beach is where the current ASRRC building was built, as well as where the boardwalk and docks. The sands are closed in by rock formations forming slight cliffs on either side, the faces of which are pockmarked by erosion and the openings to caves. A walk up and down the beach doesn't take too long, offering a comfortable and scenic stroll.
- #6Caves
Keys: cove, cave
In the cliffs surrounding the beach are a complex network of caves winding down below the beach and even into the shallows of the ocean. Accessible hot springs from a now dormant volcano beneath the island provide a comfortably warm and wet atmosphere throughout, hospitable to a species of moss which illuminates the area with a gentle teal glow.
- #7Lobby
Keys: ground floor, lobby
The ASRRC building has a rather unassuming hotel-ish lobby—if on the large side. All newcomers need to check in and be assigned a room and island-specific ID before being allowed to roam the facility. Couches, desks, clerks, directory kiosks, brochures... it all gets boring quickly.
- #8Clinic
Keys: urgent care, hospital, doctor, clinic
Teh ASRRC offers a clinic on the ground floor for any illnesses and ouchies experienced on the island. It's on the small side, but perfectly serviceable for the expected population of the island. Contraceptives and STD panels are this clinic's main business, but it also has facilities for the odd broken bone and a decent pharmaceutical stock for anyone in need of a refill.
- #9Pool
Keys: swim, pool
The ASRRC offers a backyard pool of milder, softer water for those who are sensitive to seawater—or people who enjoy not having to fight waves. The way to the pool includes a locker room section with showers, if you feel the need to wash anything off between joining and leaving. A small patio surrounds the pool, offering lounging space for anyone who just wants to chill by the poolside, maybe with a refreshment from the automated juice bar/shaved ice maker.
- #10Gym
Keys: workout, gym
The ASRRC complex features a decently sized gym area with all the usual machines, benches, and weights. Included with the facility is an all-species drinking fountain and water bottle refill station, alongside full-size lockers and a shower room with an attached sauna.
- #11Counseling Office
Keys: therapy, counseling
The counseling office is a small corner of the hotel's ground floor offering quiet rooms full of comfortable and soft things to snuggle up to—even things that snuggle back. Cuddles, kind words, guidance—this is what one expects when they step into the Counseling Office.
- #12Laundry Room
Keys: dryer, washer, laundry
As an effort to allow the rehab clients at the ASRRC a sense of autonomy and self-sufficiency, the hotel has a laundry room accessible for use by guests. It's a simple laundromat with washers and dryers, nothing out of the ordinary.
- #13Dining Hall
Keys: meal, dinner, lunch, dining, breakfast, food
The dining room is the place where food is eaten. Hotel staff provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner, free of charge—as long as you show up at the right time. Off-hours room service requests are a premium. Food is served buffet-style, so guests are welcome to build their own dishes with what's provided.
- #14Library
Keys: library, reading, book
The library is where books are kept. Those looking for a quiet and somewhat private place to curl up with a book will obviously gather here. There's also a complimentary computer lab, where islanders are free to access some proper high-speed internet for tasks more demanding than scrolling social media.
- #15Sex Shop
Keys: sex toys, lingerie, sex shop
The sex shop offers a variety of implements designed for sexual pleasure, including some rather racy outfits. Feel free to try things out, though be careful: if you break it, you buy it. If you need assistance, feel free to call on a nearby staff member to 'help'.
- #16Dorm Rooms
Keys: , rooms, dorms
The dorms are simple living accommodations for sleeping and storage, and not much else. A standard dorm is designed to fit up to four, being supplied with twin-size bunk beds, individual trunks, a closet space with segregations for each resident, a small bathroom (sans shower/bath), and a kitchenette with a toaster oven, microwave, and mini-fridge. Hope you don't mind being cooped up much.
- #17Communal Bathrooms
Keys: communal shower, bathrooms, showers
On floors hosting the dorm rooms meant for rehab patients is a large bathroom complex fitted with... well, the usual bathroom fare, but multiplied. Included is a small heated bath area designed for relaxation; you should scrub yourself clean and rinse off in the shower before heading in. Be warned though, there is no gender segregation in the communal bath.
- #18Suites
Keys: suite, hotel room
For ordinary guests is a resort suite, with arrangements for single and double bed configurations. Enjoy a nice cushy queen bed by yourself or with a partner, a fully-featured bathroom, a well-furnished kitchenette, and a wonderful view of the beach or the forest—depending on which way your window faces. There's also a desk with an ethernet port for hooking up your computer to the internet.
- #19Penthouse
Keys: penthouse
The penthosues are rooms for especially wealthy guests to the ASRRC, and offer incredibly luxurious accommodations. A single California king bed, walls separating more than just the bathroom and the suite proper, a balcony, a fireplace... honestly, more than one might find use for.
- #20Rooftop Lounge
Keys: rooftop, lounge
The rooftop lounge is a lounge... on the roof. Enjoy a freshly-shaken cocktail from the bar, chill in one of the many evenly-arranged hot tubs, enjoy a nice, fancy lawn chair facing the sky, or sit around a table and join whatever party game someone's started.
- #21Storage Rooms
Keys: underground, storage
Underneath the first floor, accessible through the elevator via staff card or a stairway entrance from one of the facilities on the ground floor, is an expansive network of storage rooms for just about anything and everything: paperbacks, wine bottles, fuzzy handcuffs, kettle weights... just about anything you could think of needing restocking or replacement is probably down here. It's also a good place to hide away with a staff member to... do things.
- #22Dungeon
Keys: dungeon, BDSM, sex dungeon
The ASRRC's sex dungeon is your average sex dungeon, complete with all sorts of rigging equipment, cages, heart-shaped beds, pillories... it's a lot. Professionals and amateurs mingle in this space, enjoying all sorts of kinky, oddball, out-there fantasies and scenarios. You probably already know if this is your scene.
- #23Private Rooms
Keys: love hotel, private room
The private rooms are special soundproofed rooms meant to accommodate those who need a break from everything, a place to be shamelessly loud, or somewhere private and discreet to have sex.
- #24Free Use Stalls
Keys: free use, onahole, gloryhole
The free-use stalls are a place where paid volunteers are situated to be used freely... within the limits they set in their application sheet. Input what kind of experience you're looking for into the kiosk and be guided to the hole—or pole—that will best satisfy you.
- #25Underground Club - Main Floor
Keys: dance floor, club
The dance floor of the ASRRC's below-ground club—a damn big one, at that. A DJ stands at a well-decorated stage at the front, tasked with keeping the party atmosphere going through the power of music. It's crowded in here most nights, meaning that a dance partner is no more than an arm's length away... or a 'dancing' partner, if one so desires.
- #26Underground Club - Strip Lounge
Keys: strip club, strip lounge
The strip lounge is an offshoot of the club's main floor where one may watch strip shows and enjoy the company of scantily-clad service staff. While you're still technically not supposed to touch any of the workers, they likely won't stop you, and security tends to turn a blind eye to it all. Just don't cause trouble.
- #27Underground Club - Bar
Keys: bar, drinks
The underground club's bar and small lounge area is where people can kick back with a drink or three and chat up similarly buzzed patrons. The lonely sort usually end up here, since it's among the quieter sections of the club and offers a way to dull the feeling of loneliness.
- #28Underground Club - Karaoke Rooms
Keys: karaoke
The club also has a set of sound-isolated rooms with bumpin' speaker systems for belting out your favorite songs with your buddies. It also serves well as an impromptu private space for when things get a little too frisky on the dance floor.
- #29Hiking Trails
Keys: trails, forest, hiking
Behind the ASRRC building is a network of trails blazed by footfalls, bike treads, and possibly a tool here and a machine there. Most of these have ends leading to the beach or the lodge, with a fair handful meeting a clearing about halfway. Enjoy the serene ambience of tall evergreens populated by a variety of bird species. Said species happen to feed on insects pretty regularly, so bites and stings aren't much to be concerned about.
- #30Forest Clearing
Keys: field, forest, flowers, clearing
On the main trail is a clearing in the forest between the new complex and the old lodge. Wild grass and flowers flourish here nearly year-round, providing a wonderful place to frolic or lay back against the earth and enjoy some cloud watching. The grass is also conveniently tall enough to provide decent cover, if you wish for your moment to be a little private... just mind that people may still bump into you by chance.
- #31Lodge
Keys: lodge, cabin
A small hike into the forest lies the old ASRRC lodge, from when it was first established on the island. No longer the main building, it instead serves as residence to particularly problematic rehabilitation patients to keep them away from innocent guests at the hotel. It's been fitted for modern living, though the internet here is the slowest you can find on the island.
- #32Mountaintop
Keys: gondola, ski slope, mountain
Once can only reach teh mountaintop of Valentine's Island in one of two ways: take the gondola, or trek it up the mountain trail. The view from here is like no other, making a vantage point that looks over the entire island. There's not much to do beyond having a nice picnic in the clear air and cool breeze or taking one of the thrilling mountain bike paths back down. In the winter, a section of the mountain that usually channels runoff from rain down to a river snaking back into the ocean becomes a wonderfully sloped snow plain for skiing.
